It was a pleasure sitting for Dawn and Alan and their gorgeous Persian cats, Charlie and Kelly. Dawn and Alan were very welcoming and hospitable; they introduced us to their nearby relatives and their friendly neighbors upon arrival. Their beautiful, comfortable, clean and well-appointed home has every modern convenience and is in a quiet location of Sausalito with panoramic views of Richardson Bay, Tiburon, Belvedere and Mt. Tamalpais. Dawn and Alan provided us with detailed guidelines/information about the house, the cats and the area. We really enjoyed this house sit, riding our bicycles across the Golden Gate Bridge, exploring San Francisco, hiking around Mt. Tamalpais, Muir Woods and Marin County, playing with Charlie and Kelly, while admiring the spectacular views. This housesit is best suited for cat lovers with prior experience befriending shy cats and gaining their trust to comb them daily. The home is in an amazing location, and we are glad Dawn and Alan asked us to cat sit for them again next year. We only wish Sausalito was closer to our home.
What a wonderful sit! Gemma and Neil were very hospitable, friendly, relaxed, and easy to contact at any time. The house was super warm and welcoming, witha a loving family feel. The pets were a dream to look after: Winston, a handsome and friendly cat (that basically did his own thing in the day and came home at night purring and being so chilled), and the most amazingly cute and funny, nutty kitten Millie! 😆 So sweet and I miss her loads! She made me chuckle so many times and was super loving. The chickens were very happy and healthy and had a superb life in a lovely garden with quite a spacious pen! I had the best night sleep there as it was super quiet and the area was very close to amenities/ shops/ lovely walks. Gemma and Neil left very good instructions, were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. I really loved this sit and hope to do it again soon. Thanks Gemma and family. It was a pleasure! 😃
