I LOVED this housesit. Monty was such a joy and we spent pretty much every day together for a month. In the evenings he would cosy up to me on the couch and sometimes watched a bit of Netflix also. Looking after Monty was effortless and as long as he had his breakie at a reasonable hour in the morning all was well! The house is awesome with lots of natural light during the day. The veranda at the back of the house is a great place to start the day with a morning coffee overlooking the green rolling hills of Bega Valley. The variety of birds that visit is stunning. The location is fantastic - a trip to Merimbula well worth it and other small towns to choose from. I must say that I felt so lucky to have had this experience on the beautiful Sapphire Coast. Thank you so very much and Monty is the best.
Warleigh is an idyllic place near Bath – a beautiful valley with stunning scenery, whatever the season. 2 dogs who are affectionate and obedient with walks nearby make this house sit in a stable block on a farm with a wood burning stove a great choice for people who enjoy a rural retreat away from the hustle and bustle. A community village shop in Bathford (5 mins drive) and farm shop in nearby Winsley (10 mins drive) means you can buy groceries locally without the need to fight the traffic into Bath city centre. Recommended.
This was a delightful house sit. Everything was set up to make looking after things very easy and straightforward. Humphrey was a delight and the horses are beautiful and everyone is clearly very well loved. The home was very comfortable and inspiring, we got many ideas about what we would like in a future home from getting to stay at Barnleaze. Jane and John are lovely people who were great about communication and gracious hosts. Would sit this home again without hesitation.
This is a wonderful sit! Kaitlyn’s home is in a beautiful, quiet, gated community close to stores and near everything you could possibly need. Kaitlyn’s cats are fabulous and her abundant succulent plants are flourishing and were easy to care for. Dana Point and Capistrano are charming places to explore and on a few rainy days, I was content and completely entertained in her cozy home with her adorable kittens. Kaitlyn’s instructions for the cats and her home were detailed and complete and communication with her before and during the sit was easy. Kaitlyn’s kittens are exceptional and I felt lucky to be chosen to care for them. Each one is unique. Meow Meow is a showman. He is smart, curious and the absolute boss. He is a high jumper, very talkative and can open cupboard doors. Baby is all about love and cuddles and had the most astounding slow-motion way of creeping onto my lap, as if he was a sloth and thought I would not notice. I already miss him dearly! Meow Meow and Baby both enjoyed frequent brushings and playing with toys and when I added a little catnip, the fun times really began. Even shy Daisy would join in the catnip party with the boys. Daisy girl is a little hesitant, but would always sleep on the corner of the bed, while the boys would be right on top of my feet. Kaitlyn’s Dana Point home is lovely and her cats are a treasure, I would be happy to sit for them again someday and I highly recommend this sit!
