New year turned out fabulous for me at your beautiful home.Because of the heat wave the air con was a real treat.Watering the garden in the early morning and evening was so enjoyable because I miss having a real garden after living in an apartment for so long, and feeding your chickens and getting fresh eggs for breakfast another novelty for me.Thank you for everything and happy new year.

I spent a wonderful week with Paul and Winnie’s adorable furry family. Paul was a great communicator before and throughout the sit, has a detailed manual and provided a thorough orientation. Their beautiful home is well appointed, organized and had everything I needed and then some! The whole family, including the 4 legged members, made me feel right at home as soon as I arrived. Paul and Winnie’s home, pool and 3 acre property provide a peaceful place to relax. I loved mornings in the hot tub watching the 3 Musketeers sprinting around the yard!

Jojo, Trumper and Doc McGhee are absolutely beautiful and delightful. They have their routines and ways to communicate their needs, and are quite flexible and patient. They play well together, and Doc McGhee, the baby, loves to stir things up! Trumper is teaching him doggie manners and JoJo tries to be patient! They’re all affectionate, love to play and have tummy rubs, and are great companions. I hope to spend time with them again.

Michelle is a gem as a home and pet owner. She gave me permission to go out with Gus and provided me with written instructions for his care. She could not emphasize enough about consuming the perishable food in her refrigerator. As a vegan, I greatly appreciated all the vegetables and fruits. I could not have asked for a more accommodating family for my first sitting in TH. The house is spacious and the neighbors are extremely good. Consider yourself fortunate to sit for Gus and Bailey.

PS. This is a FAMILY OF SIX! This indicates that Gus received PLENTY of love and attention. He is obedient and has tons of energy. Michelle didn't require it, but I gave him three lengthy walks per day, and he was thrilled to spend more time outdoors. If he is playing with his Kong while in his crate, he is content and will not bark. He also loves napping next to Bailey during the day.

PSS. Bailey is an angel. She loved belly rubs and goodies.

Svetlana
We spent wonderfull three weeks at Svetlana's and Bernardo's appartment. The appartment is very cosy and comfortable and only five minutes by food from the beach. I could use Svetlana's bike to go for small grocery nearby. Our car had broken lock before we came for that sitting and we were afraid to leave it on the street - but nothing happened, so the neigberhood is obviously safe :) But the most fantastic thing about the sitting were of course Pamasya and Marusya, which are hard no to fall love in. Pamasya is distanced at first, but ended up sleeping on my chest and purring me into the sleep. Marusya is very talkative and funny with playing, but when she gets sleepy wants to be hugged too :) We were lucky to be chosen for those two princess and we thank for that :)

We had a fantastic stay at Clare and Paul's beautiful home, we thoroughly enjoyed our week! Charlie and Lola are the sweetest, friendliest dogs who are an absolute pleasure to look after.
Charlie is the perfect country gent, content mostly to watch the world go by from the conservatory and he enjoyed a wee walk around the fields across from or behind the house. He's deaf as a post so will come looking for you just to check in and for more neck rubs.
Lola is such a sweetheart too, a wee playful dynamo who loves playing fetch with a stone/ball in her big back garden. We took her everywhere: walking the Amber Valley Routeways, Cromford Canal and Crich Chase, the Monsal Trail, Matlock and Matlock Bath, Markeaton Park - there's so much to explore! When home she'd snuggle up and fall asleep on the couch. Such a sweetie!
Clare's welcome info was so comprehensive there was nothing we needed to ask, and texts in the week just to check-in worked really well. All in all this was a great week: a sit for lovely people, lovely dogs in a lovely home - thanks so much again Clare and Paul!
