Thank you Amy & family for welcoming us into your wonderful home. It's such a shame that we did not get to meet in person, but Amy had everything very well prepared for a smooth sitting experience and communication was super easy and fast throughout the sit. We were lucky enough to get to care for baby Brizzy (6 months) and her sister Addie and mum Sydney. It was super sweet to look after the little pack and although related, they all had such different personalities. For being so young Brizzy was very well-behaved and was very responsive to commands like sit (for a treat) and super easy to take anything out of her mouth in puppy exploring things moments. She also slept through the night very well, with only a 5-minute protest at bedtime. We never had one accident in the house, minimal chewing and she was a little bundle of joy. Addie was super sweet and easy, a little nervous when we first met as she was a covid puppy, but a few treats and she was smitten. She slept with us as the others slept in their dog room (we had a massive comfortable bed, but she also slept well on her dog bed) She never made a peep and we hardly knew that she was there. She plays well with Brizzy and they like to do zoomies around the yard. Sydney was super loving, and always wanted to sleep on your lap in front of the TV and be with you, which we loved. She has such soulful eyes. She still played with the others but definitely was the mummy of the group. It is a great sit for a couple as we both got to spend individual time with each one of the girls. Walking wise we took them out individually for 20-30 minutes around the block. Amy was very helpful in discussing details as Sydney can get tense and excited around other dogs and rope Addie into the mix. So walking them separately really helped as Addie was very good with only the occasional bark, Brizzy got one on one puppy attention and we could then better redirect Sydney. It is a beautiful house with everything that you could ask for and more! Great location with lots of shops within quick driving distance. We mainly cooked and hung out with the pups and they love an afternoon playtime in their yard. It was an awesome experience and we now are in love with Australian Labradoodles
Joey and Emma were lovely. Communication was very easy and their home very welcoming. Joey was very easy and a real softy so it was lovely to look after him! Thanks again!
From the moment we arrived Bob showed us kindness and generosity. He gave us a tour of the Pueblo of Carboneras and gave instructions on looking after Kiwi and Callie. The cats are indoor, but do have the safe, rooftop terrace to lounge and play in. They are lovely easy-going cats. Carboneras has many tapas bars and restaurants and there are lots of nice walks nearby. We enjoyed our week with the kitties very much.
rank and his girlfriend Merin are an absolutely delightful couple – warm, genuine, and down-to-earth. Frank's consistent updates about changes in the building were incredibly thoughtful and appreciated. Now, let me tell you about Lilo, one of the sweetest and most adorable dogs you'll ever meet. From the moment we connected, our bond was instant, and I cherished our long walks together. I already miss her dearly. The apartment is situated in a highly convenient area with a plethora of charming restaurants nearby. My experience was not just a house-sitting opportunity; it was a heartwarming connection with wonderful people and an adorable furry friend. I wholeheartedly recommend house-sitting for Frank, Merin, and the unforgettable Lilo. I would jump at the chance to do it again.
We found Stars to be very well-behaved on his leash and we enjoyed walking him for many miles around the Navy Yard and the Hill. Since we are high-mileage walkers, Stars was a great fit for us. There's also a dog park nearby where we took him to run out his energy. Stars kind of thinks he's a little dog, so be ready for him to be in your lap and giving you lots of kisses. He's still a young dog and working on his manners. Sara taught us some strategies to help him behave well, and we felt those strategies worked. Sara was extremely easy to communicate with. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. We'd care for Stars again if given the opportunity.
My favorite housesit yet! Vivian's fur family was a blast and her home was so clean and had everything I needed for a fantastic stay. The perfect location from which to explore West Seattle too!
