Tom was better then great! Bright, freindly, alert and a natural animal person. We do not need a lot
of words to express our appreciation for his time spent in our home and with our pets.
We could not have had a better experience. Thanks Zeewoi.

Helen
Entering Helen’s home was like stepping back in time to a long lost era. The house is a special piece of history, full of character and charm, and a real treat for antique lovers, all set in a quintessentially traditional English village. There were treasures and surprises around every corner, and we felt very privileged to be staying there. Although the house is very old, we stayed in a comfortable guest bed and had use of a brand new modern bath/shower-room.

Helen’s dogs, Ochre and Tess, are good natured and what you’d expect of retrievers; gentle and affectionate, very loving and just want to curl up on the sofa with you (or snuggle up in bed if you so desire!). They can be a bit mischievous where food is concerned, and wouldn’t hesitate to jump up onto the kitchen surfaces if anything was available. So I did learn a hard lesson on the first day, even though Helen did warn me! Walking with them was a joy, they have a lovely walk along a river where all the villager’s dogs seem to go for their daily swim. Ochre and Tess were absolutely fine off their leads with other dogs and their recall was good too. They also have a huge walled garden to relax and play in.

Helen is a very kind and generous host who invited us for a lovely supper the night before and made us feel welcome. It was a pleasure to spend time with Helen and hear all about her life and journey that brought her to this unique and historic home.

Joanne
Joanne was an amazing host that we now feel is a friend. She was warm and welcoming to us and was easy to communicate with at all times.

She keeps a clean and organized home with all the modern luxuries in a hip and fun location in Santa Barbara. We were so comfortable it felt like home away from home. Plus, we enjoyed the ability to walk to the beach in less than 15 minutes.

Her dog Milo is a pure joy to care for. He is an animated and fun character. He simply demands some play and attention every few hours, or would like to snuggle on your lap or be beside you while you are doing anything else. A perfect companion for a nice getaway.

We very much look forward to a return visit. Thank you Joanne & Milo. Enjoy the sunshine for us ❤️

Dakota is a such a mellow, cool girl. She walks perfectly on her leash and was so well behaved. She was a joy to spend time with. Maddy was easy to communicate with and we met beforehand to go over everything. Her house is super cozy with a beautiful backyard and centrally located to just about anything you could want. There is also a paved walking path right outside the front door that goes for miles. I would recommend this sit.

We had the most amazing time house sitting at Lori and Lou’s incredible home. They were very hospitable and provided excellent instructions regarding the house and their pets. Our accommodation was wonderful and we were made to feel at home straight away.

Tinker and High Five are fantastic. They are both very special in their individual ways. Tinker is the most gorgeous and obedient dog, she is so friendly and full of character. We thoroughly enjoyed her company on walks around the village, beach and country parks. She was a real pleasure to be with.

High Five would greet us daily on the driveway on our return from walks and outings, always enjoying a stroke and cuddle from us. She has a lovely temperament and is super friendly.

This housesit was an absolute dream and we would highly recommend it to anyone lucky enough to have the opportunity.
