Darjeeling is in her sleeping beauty stage of life. She likes to sleep her days away and then come by for her meals. She enjoys her alone time and snuggling up somewhere warm. Their house is located at the top of Tour-de-Peilz with breathtaking views. Truly was in awe every morning waking up to such beauty. Their home is very cozy and clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Easy walk to the train station, and close to Vevey, Montreux & Lausanne Thank you for trusting in us!
Pongo and Olive were so much fun to take care of! Pongo took a day or two to warm up to us but Olive wanted snuggles right away. They are both very sweet and adorable. Katie and Paul were excellent hosts! We met them ahead of time and they showed us around and explained everything we needed to know about their precious pets. They even left us some delicious donuts! Their house is very nice, clean and comfortable and we were very happy there with Pongo and Olive. We hope to sit for Kelly and Paul again and we absolutely recommend this sit to others
We loved our time looking after Peaches, Maize, and Bergamot! I've had chickens and cared for others' chickens before on hobby farms but this was our first time with chickens in the city and it was so much fun! We loved watching them from the desk overlooking the window while we worked and seeing their cheerful antics throughout the day. Alex and Jake are super nice and left great instructions. We hope to be back again!
Woody is a great doggie...very energetic....but a good listener...loves to cuddle in bed and during movie night...Great walking trails about 1/2 mile North...Nice home....Ranch style if you hate steps

I have been taking my dog to Rover Stay Over for about a year and a half. We typically do the premium bigs lodging. The premium option has her play with other dogs in group play for most of the day! The staff will sometimes send us photos of all the fun she is having. Every time I drop my dog off she is very excited to be at Rover Stay Over. When I pick her up she is tired for a day or two. I am very happy that my dog is in a safe environment and enjoys her time so much! The staff is very friendly as well.
I was staying in the Lyden area camping and needing an overnight facilty for my dog because we had to go fishing VERY early. I contacted Rover Stay Over and set-up a reservation. Rover took great care of our 5 dogs when we were out of town. They returned home tired and happy from all the play. Rover sent us photos so we could see they each felt confident and cared for. We will definitely use Rover again.
Rover Stay Over was able to get my dog in for a 6 day “emergency” when my regular boarder went on vacation. The facility is clean and professional. The staff clearly LOVES the dogs (I got to hear them talk to other pet parents - it wasn’t just me). I loved the report card and photos so I knew Charlie was having a great time. I was looking for a new place to groom our 2 year old cockapoo. It was suggested for me to bring him to Rover stay over for grooming, which I didn’t know they had grooming options. I was very happy to find that our dog was groomed to exactly how I had asked and was treated with care and love. Plus, the price was completely reasonable and very much within my budget. I will definitely come here again!
Our dog loves going to Rover Stay Over for their daycare playgroup! Her excitement shows when we drop her off. She gets to run off leash and play with other dogs in a fenced, supervised area, which is so good for her. The staff there is friendly and experienced. We’ve also boarded our dog there from one to several days and are happy with that experience too.
We love taking our doggos to Rover Stay Over. The dogs are super excited to get there, practically singing with glee when they see we are slowing to turn into the driveway. The staff clearly love all their charges and we love them back. The only gripe we have is regarding overnight boarding policy that if you leave your dog after 11am on the pick up day they will charge for another day of boarding rather than a day of daycare. This is a new change this year, which is why it is why I mention it. We have learned how to work with this, but we preferred the way they did it before. Thank you for being in the community and making our dogs so happy !
Our pup came home very ill with some respiratory infection, lethargic, not eating. He could barely keep his eyes open. They told us this 2 days before I picked him up early- and only because I called and inquired how he was. Only one report card after a couple days and then several days went by with no communication. I had to call and ask for one, and then they said he was coughing and they would " keep an eye on him." Said he also wasnt eating. Seems they should have realized he was getting really ill.He's been home 24 hours and looks very sick- going to vet first thing tomorrow. They need to do much better with observation, and communication potential issues. Not recommended at all. My dog was a healthy 8 month old when he went in. I'm quite concerned now.
We love Rover Stay Over and have left our dog, Briggs, in their care for many years. We love picking him up freshly bathed in his adorable bandana, exhausted, happy, and healthy.
Becca and her team at Furrwoods are incredible. Our dog, Bodi, is super high energy and loves to play, play, play non-stop. They always match him with other high-energy dogs and he has made some wonderful doggy-friendships over the last year and a half. He enjoys daycare so much and has been boarded there for over a week at a time and he always comes home tired, happy, and safe/healthy. Our two Boston Terriers stayed at FurrWoods for a full week and they did so well and got lots of playtime they were happy and exhausted when we got them home! The place is absolutely spotless and so clean it’s amazing! Caring professional staff as well!
We were so thankful to have found FurrWoods Kennels! We recently adopted a dog from Whatcom Humane Society. Oscar is partially blind and very reactive, as he was never socialized as a puppy. It was critical to find a kennel that was a good fit for him. We had been using another boarding facility for the past ten years and had been pretty happy with them for most of that time. Due to a detour, I happened to drive by FurrWoods and saw their sign. So, we scheduled a time to take a tour. Oscar was reactive to the owner and staff and was barking and lunging at them. They knew exactly how to greet him and put him at ease. Within minutes, he was comfortable and leaning in for ear scratches. We took Oscar out to the play yards and put him in one by himself. He immediately went to the fence and happily greeted the other pups in the adjacent yard. The play yards here are repurposed astroturf from a football field, and the surface is immaculate. The previous boarding facility has gravel yards and our previous dog would sometimes eat rocks there or be dirty from digging. There are 3 or 4 different yards so they can group dogs by size or demeanor or age to ensure everyone has a positive playtime. The kennels are also very clean! There are only 28 kennels so it is much more peaceful than at a larger facility. They provide trampoline beds and even have slow feeders if you need them, which Oscar does. They have an online reservation system which helps me keep track of my bookings. You can also sign your dog up for an activity such as individual fetch time or a walk in the woods. We have boarded Oscar at FurrWoods several times over the past few months - sometimes just overnight and for as long as two weeks. He LOVES it there!! When we arrive, he pulls me to the door and wants to go straight out to play! This speaks volumes, as Oscar normally has separation anxiety!! When I pick him up, he is clean, happy, and exhausted. Thank you thank you thank you to Rebecca and her staff for welcoming Oscar into your kennel and your hearts!!
We can’t say enough about how wonderful Furrwood is. We leave our Luc there and know that he will have a fabulous time playing with his friends and be well loved and cared for while he is there.
We scoured the entire county for the right fit for our basset hound puppy, and Furrwoods rose to the occasion. He has specific needs and Becca has accommodated every one of them without question. This is the cleanest facility that we toured. The astroturf is much better for his skin and toes (they get yeasty, but not here). When we pick him up he usually greets us then turns right around to go back in. He definitely keeps the staff on their toes and I'm very grateful for their hard work.
Such an amazing place for my dogs. Extremely clean and organized. The staff is very professional and helpful. I always feel they make my dogs needs a priority. I would highly recommend bringing your dogs here for doggy daycare or an overnight stay.
Our dog Tanto went to Furrwoods for almost two years (we have now moved out of the area) and we could not have been more comfortable and happy with the care he received! Rebecca and her staff do a great job making sure your dog is loved and having a ball. Tanto always left Furrwoods happy and exhausted from a full day of fun. Cannot recommend enough!

I've lived in many places and have used many kennels. I've never found a boarding facility that is as great as FurrWoods! They are kind, and accommodating, and take excellent care of our dogs. I will forever use FurrWoods and recommend them to everyone.
This is the nicest kennel in the county. I truly appreciate Becca and her staff. It is so great that we can leave town knowing our dogs will be well taken care of and have fun with the other pups there.
The best thing about Puget Hounds is that my dearest dog, Jake, loves to go there. He gets his hugs and love from the lovely people who work there. He has his regular dog friends. It is a second home to him. He is safe, he is fed to my directions. It is a great place for a dog and a great business to work with for a dog’s owner.
My dog Mady seems to love all of your staff. I believe that he has a good time playing with the other dogs. I was so impressed with Amber on your staff. I am handicapped and I was fearful that my dog could get out when someone opened the front dog if he was not tight on his leash. Amber helped me put his leash and harness on. She was so thoughtful and kind. Mady is only ten months old. He is a lot for me to handle with my osteoarthritis, but no one could love him more dearly and give him a better home than me. He needs the socialization at Puget Hound that I cannot give him at home.
Earlier this year we got our pup Luna signed up. She loves going to daycare! She has made great friends and it always excited when we drop her off. She comes home tired from a day full of play. The staff are very friendly.

It was unnerving sending my fur-baby off to daycare for the first time, but the staff at Puget Hound have been very responsive to any questions or concerns that come up. Abby did our initial questionnaire for his temperament test and was super reassuring throughout the process (this helped me feel like he was in good hands!) Upon drop off/pick up, Riley always has a smile on her face and (today specifically) was prompt in relaying Bode's first photos and report with me - I'm so grateful. Bandit has been going to Puget for over two years now. Not only does it give him an opportunity to run and play all day, it gives him time to interact with the other pups, which is a good thing for him. The staff are great. They clean him up on the wet days, and the always have him ready when it's time to go home. Having him somewhere that they show they care about him as much as we do is important.
Puget hound has been such a god send for me! I work from home and am always looking for an opportunity to get my little Rosie the chance to play while I’m typing away. The staff here has always fostered a fun, safe, and seamless environment for Rosie to have the best time! She has made so many friends and always comes home ready to sleep for days! My dog Monty absolutely loves it here! He can't wait to go "play with doggies" as I tell him! The staff is so helpful, attentive, and really love the dogs, and you can really tell the dogs are having fun too. I love that he gets indoor and outdoor play time and comes home tired at the end of the day. I haven't used their boarding yet, but I would feel totally safe leaving Monty with The Puget Hound for any length of time. As a very protective dog parent, having someplace that I can safely leave my pup for the day while I run errands, work, or do whatever needs to be done is priceless. I'm so happy I found Puget Hound and recommend them to anyone!!

My two guinea pigs stayed with Crystal for 10 days while I was away on vacation. I like that she has everything they need so all I have to bring to her are the piggies and their pellets. She also suggested bringing a personal item from home and I appreciated that recommendation and accommodation. One of my piggies has to take medication twice a day and Crystal was able to administer that with no issue. I like that Crystal has a lot of guinea pig experience so I could trust that my piggies were in great hands, that she would be able to identify any possible concerns, and that she would be able to handle any issues in a timely and professional manner. Crystal sent both photo and written updates to me so I could see that my piggies were happy, healthy, and safe while I was away. I recommend Crystal's Pet Services for guinea pig boarding and I look forward to booking my piggies with her for my next vacation.
Crystal was amazing and took such great care of my two guinea pigs while our family was away. Crystal treated our piggies like they were our own. She sent us pictures throughout our trip and gave me update on how they were doing so my kids could relax knowing their pets were well taken care of. Since I travel alot I wanted to make sure my bunnies had a safe and comfortable place to stay once I was gone. And Crystal made sure of that! She has bunny sat for my twice now, one was even a month long. She is great with communication and was sending pictures and updates once in a while. While my bins are with her, I have no doubt that they are getting the best care possible. Giving each of them attention with head scratches and quality time. Definitely recommended her and will be going back when I need to leave again!!
we boarded our two bunnies with crystal over a long weekend. we were super nervous because we had never boarded them before. crystal was great! she send me pictures every day, cleaned their scent glands & trimmed their nails! they didnt even come home mad (theyre always mad about something). we will defs be boarding with crystal again!!
Crystal is one of the top caregivers for bunnies. I left my 10-year-old bunny with her for 2 weeks. During our trip, Crystal sent multiple photos and updates of our bun, and we felt confident in her care. I can definitely say that we will come back to her.
Crystal looked after our little bunny Kacey while we were across Canada for my son's wedding. It was our first time leaving her and Crystal was so understanding and reassured us that we didn't need to worry. We also used Crystal for a weekend away after bonding Kacey with little Murphy. I am so blessed to find Crystal and her loving care for small animals! We left our 7 year old guinea pig Gilley with Crystal for 13 days when we went on vacation and this is the first time we have ever left him with anyone. His cage was all set up with his own name tag and she provided everything for him ..food and hay and her wonderful care. I really appreciated how she sent us updates and pictures of how he was doing. Crystal is Kind, knowledgable about animals and trustworthy. Our Holland Lop stayed with Crystal for 13 days. Typically when we go away our rabbit gets a little ornery for the first week back home, but when he returned home after his stay at Crystal’s he was calm and well adjusted. During our trip, Crystal sent multiple photos and updates of our Bun and we felt confident in her care. We would trust her again with our Bun.

I LOVE Hyline. And my Sydney (German Shepherd/Akita mix) LOVES it too. I absolutely have trust in the workers, my baby comes home happy and having played well, they have a lot of extra services available, and she gets her grooming there as well. After trying another place in town where Sydney would leave panicked and stressed out (wouldn’t eat sometimes for days after) it is a relief to know she is cared for so well at Hyline. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you Hyline. Oh, and they send the best pics!!
Hyline is a great facility if you’re looking for boarding your dog while out of town. As a daily daycare it wasn’t what I thought. Dogs are in kennels for most of the day and let out for 15 min to play and do their business… for my 5 month old she deff needs more interaction with other dogs and play time. The staff was very nice and she did have fun.
Awesome service from the personnel at Hyline Hotel, they did an amazing evaluation of our beasts, put them in a play group with 5 other dogs and submitted photos. Both our dogs looked so happy to be there, our female who is more vocal talked all the way home about the fun she had. Huge difference from previous daycare, won’t mention names. Hyline Hotel is the BEST!
Hyline is definitely one of the best doggy daycare facilities I have ever taken my dog too! My dog had the best time with other daycare goers and the handlers/staff of the company. Keep up the great work! My dogs tail never stopped wagging from how much fun he had! :)
I've used Hyline Hotel for years, both for daycare and boarding. The staff are great, friendly and welcoming and really care about giving the dogs their best. One local trainer told me that Hyline is the only kennel that she would use. They are terrific.
Guys, my cat is absolutely psycho when it comes to grooming her or trimming her nails. I don’t know how they managed to turn her sassy self into a mini lion with the cutest mane and floofy tail, but they did. Have a cat or dog that needs grooming.. just take them there already. Don’t think twice.
I was very impressed with Hyline Hotel for Dogs. Our two dogs were there over thanksgiving week and we received daily updates and photos. When we picked our girls up, they were very happy to see us and napped in the car on the way home - a sign they were content with their stay and well cared for. Everyone at Hyline was super friendly and the whole check in and out process was very streamlined. Thanks again!

Friendly, kind, compassionate and thorough daycare for our Harry. The staff are always keeping a open line of communication and seem to genuinely enjoy what they do. I don't ever worry about our dogs when they are at Hyline.
Our young dog was very nervous the first couple of daycare visits, but Hyline made sure to pair her with other dogs she played well with and by the time we needed to board her there, she was confident and comfortable. They kept her safe and as happy as possible being in a different environment and I would recommend them to others as well as use them again. They are responsive and organized and kept us updated.
Vanessa has taken care of our dogs several times while we've been traveling, and she has always done a great job. Our dogs adore her! She is professional and strikes me as someone who is very trustworthy. The daily text check-ins with photos of the dogs are the cherry on top. Absolutely wonderful. Awesome team there, and the fur kids are well taken care of and lots of exercise throughout the day. This visit to the doggie spa one of our pup's had a little seperation anxiety attack, the team at Green Acres let us know, and what they did to ease the condition and sent pictures throughout the week and keep us updated on this, the other pup we had there was living her best life with everyone.£l Thank you to everyone one there, and it is the only place we trust with our fur kids. One of those rare businesses where I wish I could give a 10/5 review. I have been taking my furball to Green Acres for about 3 years now whenever I am out of town. I have a wolf so she is not the kind of dog you can just take anywhere. The dog handlers have to really know dogs well to be able to gain her trust. I have taken Tiva for lengths of time up to 4 months this last trip. Every single time they treat her like family. This time I returned home and was in the 2 week quarantine and I talked to Kathy to update her and Kathy actually offered to drive Tiva form Abbotsford to Burnaby for me since I could not leave my place...FOR FREE. That blew my mind. They are such an incredible crew at Green Acres and its immediately evident that this is one of those rare companies run with a passion for what they love not simply as an avenue to make money. Thank you Kathy and your team for what you do. If you have not taken your dog here then I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you do....If you have taken your furchild there then you know exactly what I mean. Keep up the great work guys.

Great facility and wonderful interactive staff. They really do care! Sometimes it’s hard to get through on the phone, but that’s because they’re interacting with the dogs and can’t hear the phone ring always, but the owner gave me her personal number as well so they were always reachable. They are also very good at calling back and will go the extra mile to send videos and pictures. I’m also pretty positive they bathed my big dig after he got dirty from play time, talk about going the extra mile.
Green Acres is amazing. They take away my anxiety of dropping off my anxious dog. Oliver could barely wait for his leash to come off to go visit with his furry friends. Janelle and Mackenzie and Kathy are great. Thanks Ladies!!
This place was good for the week that we were out of town but I would not bring my dog back. This was our first time coming here, we were told that we'd get an update about our dog but didn't get one until the night before we picked her up. We told them that our dog likes to play rough which we were told was no problem but upon picking her up they told us that they didn't let her play with other dogs the entire time she was there, just meeting other dogs through the fence which is not what we had discussed. As well when we picked her up there was a big cut on her nose and no one knew how or when it happened, it has since turned into a big scar.
This was my first time experiencing a kennel. My Groot stayed here for two weeks, he had the most excellent care. I highly recommend Kathy and her team. Thank you so much for caring for our sweet boy.
I brought my Doberman here for one week stay and he had preexisting cut in between his toes that became infected on the second day of visit. I was sent videos and pictures and updated everyday as to what care they were giving him. They soaked his foot daily and cleaned it and had their own vet administer pain medicine and antibiotics. They were extremely concerned and attentive and when I picked him up and brought him to my vet she told me that the care given was excellent and that his foot was healing nicely as a result. I’m very impressed with the service considering the situation required so much extra work on their part. Speaking with Kathy and Jody throughout the process it is very obvious they are dog people and care about them like they are their own. Thank you. I appreciate what you did for Zeus and will see you again sometime in the future.
My dog loves the ladies at Green Acres. Ample room for all sizes of dogs and clean. Cathy and Olivia are very loving and my dog was happy when I went to pick him up. They took care of his special diet and meds with no hesitation. Of course he came home dirty but that was because it was wet spring and he was outside playing with all his fur buddies.
My big boy loves it here. He has dog friends to play with and the staff are amazing. He is always excited to go to Green Acres. I know he is in good hands while I am away.
