It was a pleasure to take care of Tonka and Blue we enjoyed our walks by the Murray River. Julie and Bruce made us feel very welcome in their beautiful and well equipped home and even baked some biscuits for us. The lovely outdoor area was perfect for the hot weather and we were cosy inside on the colder days. Wouldn't hesitate to take care of the dogs and property again. Thanks Julie and Bruce.
Had a great sit with Kaley. She is such an adorable little dog. She has lots of personality and loves to play and hang out. She is great at fetching her toy and bringing it back. The house and stay were lovely, in a quite neighborhood with mountain views!
Ruth and David are delightful and generous hosts, welcoming us warmly into their home. They provided a comprehensive handover and a notebook for reference with everything listed. Dogs, Dora and Mable have real personalities, Dora being oh-so-laid back Dane, and Mable wanting to know what everyone is up to all the time, in a very cute and adoring way. The cats are easily pleased, reminding you it's feeding time with such accuracy you can set your watch by it. Otherwise we didn't see much of them. The house is a lovely barn conversion with an enviable large kitchen and views over the green rolling hills of Yorkshire. An all-weather option for alfreso dining with a covered porch with heating which we really enjoyed - rarely alone as the dogs were never far away. Amenities are a plenty, you'll not stuck for entertainment with a beautiful library, and TV with many digital channels. WiFi is a little slower than what we're used to, perhaps not ideal for sitters who need to juggle Zoom/video calls etc but that's country life and big thick former-barn walls so you've got to change your ways and adjust to the slower pace of life. There's a lovely country pub within walking distance, however for logistical reasons, groceries and exploring the great villages nearby, sitters will need a vehicle. Overall we had a great time and would be happy to sit again for Ruth and David, and provide endless cuddles of course for our new furry friends
This was an amazing housesit! I felt so welcomed in this home and Safa made sure I had a great time in London by giving me the best recommendations. Communication was great throughout my stay. I can’t thank these lovely hosts enough for their hospitality, it was such a joy to meet them. Q and Eve are adorable! They are so friendly and loving, and I had the best time with them. They love their cuddles, and spending time on the balcony watching the world. I was so sad to leave them, they really were the highlight of my days in London, but I know they’re in the best care with the best cat moms 🥹 The apartment is so cute and cozy, and in a lovely neighborhood with parks, stores, and public transportation nearby. The balcony is a wonderful place to hangout when the weather is nice, and I had such a relaxing stay in this lovely home. I would love to come back here for another housesit. I hope to see you again in the future, thank you so much for everything Safa! 🥰
I thoroughly enjoyed my time looking after Penny and Dizzy. Penny is a sweetheart who is really a people lover. She has the cutest smile and is still very energetic and playful despite her age. Dizzy is a blast. He has endless energy and will play with his tennis ball to no end. He is quite the character and a joy to spend time with. Vivien and Paul were generous and welcoming hosts who maintained good communication throughout the process. The house is lovely and the garden is a wonderful place to relax in the afternoon. There is easy bus connections and you can be in city center in about 20 minutes. Plus there are loads of spacious parks to enjoy with the dogs. In short, I loved my time here and would be happy to return.
