Simi and Forest were great housesitters and took good care of Winnie. Thank you!
Lovely people, lovely home, cute cat, great neighborhood, all around YES!!! This sit was just great, would recommend this whole situation highly. Spatch (the cat) was great. He was pretty uninterested in me at the beginning but open. When he warmed up he did like to get petted and play a bit, very easy to care for. This family is very nice and made me feel welcome from the start, they are also very easy to communicate with. Their house is centered around a nice patio and a big sun room so it gets a lot of natural light, loved it! There is a Whole Foods a block and a half away and quite a few restaurants, cafes, and a few bars. Public transit is super easy too as you can walk to BART (the train) in about 15 minutes or catch a bus to BART easily. Say yes to the sit!
I had a lovely 3 weeks sitting for Lulu. She is such a sweet, gentle girl and I thoroughly enjoyed my time with her. Jane and Julian were wonderful hosts and their house is absolutely beautiful. Well located within Faringdon and some nice walks on the doorstep. I would thoroughly recommend this sit to anyone.
This was such a fabulous sit! Teresa and Jeff are are wonderful people, very generous with their time and kindness. I had a great meal with them the evening before their departure, and really enjoyed getting to know them better. And communication with them was easy. And Buckshot really stole my heart! He is such a great dog. Very loving, snuggly, fun, goofy - just a great personality! And he likes to give hugs - which I never missed a chance to get a hug from him. He was great on a leash when we went on our walks every day up that hill in the neighborhood. And he loves to play ball in the field. There was never a dull moment with Buckshot! Max and Lane are really fun cats as well. They each have their own personality, but both are very curious. And I think they are the only cats I've met that come when called - which was great! Max would sleep on my lap when I was working, and Lane would be nearby as well. Buckshot, Max and Lane all do get along really well. It was so much fun to watch them wrestle and play together. I never had to worry about anyone getting hurt. Teresa and Jeff have a very warm and welcoming home. It has all the amenities you could want. There is a guest room with it's own bath. And the kitchen has everything if you like to cook or bake. And the views are amazing! Overall, a 10 out of 10, and I would highly recommend to any sitter. Thanks Teresa and Jeff for such a wonderful stay!
Our family spent a week looking after the lovely Mia and Millie (and the goldfish without name) in Jonathan, Paula and Leon’s home. Jonathan is a super communicator and was super thorough in explaining how things work and how to care for the doggos and their home. We had a video call to introduce ourselves he also sent video files to walk us through the property and routine for the day. They are a lovely family with a modern and comfortable home. The house was spotless when we arrived and everything was already familiar because of the how-to videos. Mia and Millie are sweethearts. Mia is a bit older and Millie is a energetic fun loving pup. They love playtime, but also love snoozing happily close to the humans. And they loooove food and can’t wait for their breakfast and dinner time. They are both easy to walk on leads and are well behaved with other animals. We tried to send a short video of them every day just to put their hoomans at ease whilst they were away. Our family really loved getting to know the family and of course Mia and Millie. Our boys loved playing with the pups, especially Millie as she brings the toy or stick back for you to throw again. They were both gentle with our toddler too. Jonathan also gave them permission to play with all Leon’s cool toys and that kept them well busy for the week! Rathdowney and the surrounding area has so much to see and do. The play park is fantastic and we spent a portion almost every day there playing with the kids. The town has a Supervalu and Dunnes and we could find all we needed there. I can highly recommend looking after Mia and Millie (and the goldfish!) for the Beach family. We’d come back again any time if they’d have us :)
