I spent a week at Fiona and Chris's home in Worcester. Murphy the spaniel and Cassie the sproodle are fun dogs to sit with. Very well behaved and playful. Charlie the cat is one of the friendliest cats I've sat with. The house is clean, well equipped, comfortable and well located for visiting the town. Communication with Chris and Fiona were great and I enjoyed meeting them at the start of the sit. tom
We had the pleasure of sitting for Polly and Marcus during our tour of the U.K. This incredibly generous couple ensured we wanted for nothing during our stay. A fantastic guide and informative hints and tips made life very easy. The house and area is gorgeous, creating a great place to relax. We loved looking after Charlie and Ruby, Kitty pretty much looked after herself. The “girls” (chickens) gave us so many smiles with their personalities. Following us around the extensive gardens like puppies. Ilminster was the perfect place to be based to travel to Lyme Regis and Sidmouth. Taunton is a quick drive up the road and has major shops for anything you need that you can’t get in Ilminster. A little further is Glastonbury and Street. Would happily sit again if in the UK.
This was my first housesitting experience with Trusted Housesitters and it was absolutely great. Irene and Marco are very experienced with this service and their Welcome Guide and overall instructions were meticilous, comprehensive and very clear. It was undsestood from the beginning that Mila is not a cuddly cat but she is very vocal and a housesitter can definitely still establish some rapport with her. I thought our "conversations" to be very funny and also found out that she apparently loves old school Jazz music:)) The apartment is very nice and beautifully located with a lovely view and Bulle is very pretty and surrounded by lots of gorgeous nature. The region offers plenty of hikes and countless leisure activities. Irene and Marco are very kind hosts that I would recommend to anyone on Trusted Housesitters. Cleo was a wonderful cat to look after! She is a bit shy but will warm up to you after she gets used to a routine and feels comfortable around you. I love spending time with her, especially during her morning bird watching sessions. She loves window watching and hunting for hidden kibble and her puzzle game toy is a favourite! Merrin’s apartment is perfectly set up for working remotely and conveniently located near the F and G lines. The neighbourhood is diverse with many cafes and food options. Merrin was great at communicating and even checked in when some minor building related events came up which was appreciated. She also provided some local food recommendations and event happenings. Overall, an excellent Brooklyn stay! Highly recommend. Thanks again Merrin!!
