Happy to have Heather stay at ours while we were away! Turned out our friends took wee Jet while we were gone, but we wanted to still be able to offer heather a place to stay, lovely person through and through! Look forward to staying in touch and having paths cross again. X
Thank you so much to Gladys and Scott for letting us sit for their two wonderful Whippets, Snoopy and Pinkman. Gladys and Scott are two of the most hospitable, friendly, funny and warm natured people you will meet. We had such a great evening of outstanding delicious food with them before their trip, sharing stories and laughs. They have a beautiful home in the Anaheim Hills which is nice and quiet. They were so phenomenally thorough with everything anyone need to know about their homes, their neighbourhood and of course their lovely well behaved boys. The Welcome Guide they produced in a binder and PDF is not only hilarious but it covers everything. Pinkman and Snoopy are fun dogs with lovely characters. They are superbly well behaved on the leash and have a very simple routine. Pinkman loves to snuggle and Snoopy loves his toys and will play fetch with them over and over. We had a great week with both of them and we were really not ready to say goodbye. You’ll take hundreds of photos of them and be desperate to get home to see them even if you went out an hour to buy groceries. We were so grateful for the sweet touches Gladys and Scott went out of their way to make in order for our stay to be very comfortable. They are excellent and communication and felt like we were sitting for friends the moment we spoke on video chat. Please please keep in touch and if you ever want a trip to sunny Sooke in Vancouver Island we would happily host you.
It was a real pleasure to house and pet sit for Carla. The 4 dogs were all really sweet and easy. I would be happy to sit for them again and I can recommend it to any other sitter.
Frank and Michelle were so well prepared when I got there it was a seamless transition. Archie and Jack were great to hang out with. They are very relaxed and know their routine very well. But, I think the highlight of the day for them was going on walks. If I am ever in Australia again and Frank and Michelle need a sitter I would definitely sit for them again no questions asked.
I had a brilliant time on my relatively short sit for Lyn. It was also really lovely to be able to spend time with her before and after she went away. Her beautiful, unique house is in a quiet hamlet away from it all and has a relaxing woodland walk just down the lane. Sukie was so sweet, very talkative and very much a human lover - whenever I sat down, she was on my lap! The sheep were entertaining and it was an enjoyable and educational experience for me to take care of them. As well as doing the local walk a couple of times, I ventured around the Shaldon area, visited Bovey Tracey and went up onto Dartmoor near Haytor. Larger places with facilities are also within easy reach by car so there's plenty to see and do. I would highly recommend and hope to return when I'm down south again.
Very easy house sit. Good communication and instructions. Really easy to get to from the Interstate (we were in an RV) and in a nice neighbourhood. 5 mins walk to buses that go straight in to Nashville and very cheap. Excellent accommodation in the pool/guest house. Poppy and Ruby are really cute affectionate dogs. They spent most of their time in the pool house with us but were in the main house overnight. They get very excited at the prospect of a walk. We'd be happy to sit again if we were in the area.
We had a wonderful experience and delightful stay in the Cambridgeshire countryside while looking after Bob and Lily. Janet & Neil were perfect host leaving us clear instructions. We had very relaxing stay in their wonderful home. The area had lots of nice walks with plenty of wildlife. Their dogs Bob and Lily were a pleasure to look after plus their Bantam Chickens were no trouble and funny to watch. We would not hesitate to housesit for them again if given the opportunity. Thank you both very much for a wonderful week.
