Dog Sitters in Centreville, VA

Jean and Frank were fabulous pet/house sitters. They sent us frequent photos of the dogs, they were gracious about administering several meds as our dogs are older, and they took meticulous care of our home. We communicated frequently and I knew that Baily and Daisy were in good hands. I highly recommend them as pet/house sitters. They might come with their own dog, Leo, who fit right in and as a bigger dog, was kind and gentle with ours. We arrived home to a very clean house. I absolutely would recommend you consider Cindy and Andy for a housesit. They are great sitters. Excellent communication before and during the sit. They are very friendly and well traveled. Their flight arrived the day before the sit and they offered to get a hotel. But I invited them to come to the house to meet all my kitties and to see a little of our routine in action. Because of inclement weather to where my flight travel was intended, my plans changed at the last minute. As I was packing for a new destination just out of town, they were very respectful of my time and space before my departure. I ended up taking my dog with me so they had the freedom to be away for a longer day. They texted regular photo/videos updates of all the cats as requested. I felt very comfortable with them in my home and would welcome them back anytime. 

Ira did a phenomenal job taking care of the cats and chickens. He went above and beyond with caring for the chickens. He arrived early so we could meet and I could show him the chicken care. He was very responsive while I was away and I look forward to inviting Ira back for another housesit if he has any future plans to return to the Smoky Mountains.

Rita took excellent care of our two senior cats while we were away. She told me that she tried to keep them from being bored, which probably explains why they were so happy and relaxed when we got home!!! She also took good care of our garden and home and was easy to communicate with. Thanks Rita!

Indra and her sweet family came for another stay at our home this holiday weekend! We are so grateful for the care, love, and support they gave our 4 fur babies. The care was great, our home was loved, and we really appreciated the touch base notes and photos of the girls. Highly recommend this family for a love stay in your home and we can not wait for them to come back!

Maggie was an absolutely perfect sitter for my 2 cats, bunny and fish! She was communicative, sent regular updates, kept every happy and healthy and our home was even tidier than before we left it. I highly recommend her. She handled cat puke, a very poopy bunny and a suicidal fish like champ (the fish even survived because she saw it so fast and got it back in the tank!) Couldn't ask for a better sitter and we would welcome her back anytime!

We could not have lucked out more when Michael agreed to stay with our pups. He communicated extensively before the trip to ensure he understood the girls’ routine and where everything is located. He came down the night before to meet the girls and address any follow-up questions. Throughout his visit he did not hesitate to text any questions or provide updates. When we returned home the house was in better shape than we left it, which says something because the cleaning lady had come before we left! If Michael agrees to come stay with your pets feel confident they are in good hands.

Diane and Natalia were incredible! They left the home immaculate, were great with our pets and very proactive and strong communicators. Highly recommend!

Katie took great care of Cooper while I was gone, was very communicative, and left my apartment clean and tidy!

Daniel and Kunjisha were amazing. They were incredibly respectful and clean and took amazing care of Kylian. They were super responsive and provided us with updates daily about Kylians behavior and provided photos as well. Defintely would recommend them for any sit.

Emily and Greg were our first housesitters and it was a wonderful start for us. They went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable with us and even more important, that Rebel was comfortable with them. I was fortunate they lived in the next neighborhood over so they stopped by several times to walk with Rebel and me and the day before our trip, Emily came by to take him out alone to ensure there were no issues with a stranger coming into the home while we were gone. In addition, Rebel is a large rescue dog and, although he is usually well behaved, none of us were sure how he would be when we left as we adopted him during the pandemic and we have been home pretty much 24/7. In addition, she had to attempt to keep Rebel from consuming too many cicadas which was a chore in itself. All went perfectly. Our house was left tidy and she even had to clean up some things that Rebel got into - he loves pillows, tissues and plastic bags. This was by no means her fault, we left them where he could get them.....and he did:) Emily communicated with me by text daily and we talked about how it went once we returned home. We came home to a happy dog which of course made us very happy and more comfortable with doing this again. Feel free to reach out to me if you need more information about this housesit. Rory and Gail were absolutely amazing at our Folly Beach home with our young dogs, cats, & even our plants! They accommodated our travel needs by coming a night in advance, getting to know our family and routine, and they stayed as long as we needed. They took the pups to the dog park, beach, and sent us photos and videos of their adventures! They took great care of our home and we'd highly recommend them to anyone in need of a sit!
