I had a wonderful time taking care of Mala and Belden’s home and pets in Fulham. The house is very cozy and has all amenities one might need. Animals: two dogs and 4-5 cats, I loved walking the doggos to nearby parks, they were so good and lovely, it was a pleasure. They are very well behaved and very sweet. The cats are mostly hanging out by themselves and come around for food. Sometimes they crave affection as well ☺️ Location: Fulham is a nice neighborhood, with tube station nearby and easy access to other parts of London. There is plenty of restaurants, pubs, shops and parks around, also gyms. Very easy to get to from the airport. All in all, I loved my stay and will miss the dogs dearly. I had a wonderful time watching Dude and Lily for Lisa and D’Arcy. They are very sweet, well trained and very easy to take care of. They have their routine and there are plenty of beautiful walks directly off the property. The house is also lovely with a nice backyard and any amenity you could possibly need. I felt very comfortable there and was able to work remotely when I needed to work. I arrived a day and a half early to become acquainted with the dogs and had a lovely time with the whole family. Truly wonderful, kind people and doggies.
This was a dream house-sit! The house is beautiful, comfortable and well-equipped with plenty of space and lovely views. Tanga and Chewy are absolute sweethearts. Tanga is so sweet, gentle and compliant. Chewy is the cutest dog - full of energy, a little less obedient than Tanga but still very easy to manage. Their routines are simple and straightforward. Yolande and Des are wonderful people who welcomed us warmly and made sure we had everything we needed. Communication with them was excellent. We can’t wait to return and would very highly recommend.
What an amazing sit this was! Stephanie and Carl are absolutely amazing humans with a crew of animals you will fall in love with. I had a sit fall through at the last minute and didn't know if I would stay in Oregon or go back home to Colorado. I worked with Stephanie and Carl and we decided we could make this work for the both of us. They were so gracious to pick me up from the train station since I didn't have a car with me in Oregon. I felt so cared for by them and in return, I was able to care for their animals. The chickens and roosters were so adorable and I loved getting to know them. Cooper and Mona (the pups) were so sweet and loving. Mollie and Maizie (the kitties) did escape a few times to go hunting on the farm, which was the only hiccup. They are young and new to going outdoors, so I know it's an issue that can be worked through. It was so a healing experience to spend time in such a peaceful place with amazing animals. Highly recommend this sit for a unique experience! Would definitely return.
In so many respects my time spent with Sabine and Mark’s “mini zoo”, and indeed with Sabine and Mark, made for a most wonderful housesit. Their 3 small dogs are especially cute and easy to care for, with Li and Lo mostly asleep all day, but Bella was much more interactive and very keen to go on adventure walks, having boundless energy despite her pint size. Chico, the miniature pony, was very amusing and mostly fine to deal with, but occasionally one had to watch not to walk with him following too closely behind, or if he felt too “playful” when bored. There are a variety of chickens in different henhouses or coops, and in the larger coop, there were a few young ones, “typical teens” we could say, who were not so keen to give up their freedom to head into the hen house at night, but that trend was reversing even while I was there. The house is set in an idyllic, mountainous, rural location and Sabine and Marc host B&B guests from time to time. I was very fortunate to be treated to some delicious meals prepared by Marc, who is a gourmet chef, but you have to be lucky with your timing!! If you have a car, (which I didn’t), there is so much to see in the area as well and plenty of lovely hiking opportunities. Both Sabine and Marc were very friendly and generous and I would recommend this sit for anyone wanting to experience this lovely part of Spain in the company of some lovely, even quirky animals. The only reason I awarded the sit 4 Stars was quite an important misunderstanding that could have been cleared up if more questions had been asked, rather than something being assumed, but don’t let that put you off this great housesit experience!
We had a brilliant time at Motspur Park and the dogs Tapi and Sadie were just the best! They are super funny,cute and playful and we were never bored being in their company. We will miss them a lot! Sadie is calmer and sensible whereas as Tapi wants to play all the time. But both were a pleasure to look after and great company! They quickly warmed up to us and it was hard saying goodbye to them at the end. Polly and her partner were so welcoming and let us meet them and the dogs before the sit started with lovely tea and cakes. They were so helpful, easy going and lovely throughout making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They communicated well too via text while they were away. We couldn't have asked for nicer pet parents! After meeting them we felt very at ease and like we could ask them anything if we needed it. I would highly recommend this sit, the dogs are great, the area is close to London and other good places like Kingston and Hampton Court and Wimbledon. The home is cosy and has everything you need and very handy for buses and trains. Polly and her partner were great and we'd be more than happy to sit for them again. Thanks Polly!
