Claire is so warm and welcoming! Her apartment is in a great location for public transit and is also close to Lake Michigan trails. I love that she has a Parsley 101 book for Parsley and apartment info. I was so sad to have to say goodbye to Parsley. She is such a sweet dog. She was always ready to go for a walk and enjoyed belly rubs. My time in Chicago included visiting family and remote working - Parsley helped make both possible. She is great about going into her crate during my family visit days. Most of the time I didn't even have to say anything after she saw me with her peanut butter filled kong, she went into her crate by herself. For the day I worked from Claire's, Parsley was a great work buddy staying by my feet and also going to the couch to nap. It was nice to have walking breaks with Parsley. Highly recommend this sit! Love Parsley's energy and her curiosity sniffing her way through our walks. Thank you, Claire for trusting me with Parsley!
Wowwww! I had an all-round wonderful experience looking after Buddy & Moxie in their high tech apartment!! It was lots of fun! I hugely appreciated the incredible level of thoughtfulness & preparation that David & Michael went to in ensuring that my stay was easy & very very comfortable. Communication was easy too & there were lots of little details that made everything even more special, like leaving me space for my things in every room & putting small labels on specific spaces I needed to use & those that were private, (which saved me a lot of door opening & trying to remember what was where!) They took the time before they left to run through everything I might need to know & set me up on the brilliant home management system. The fab apartment is super fun to live in, work from & easy to keep clean. I loved the experience of being in a (for me) high tech environment, with the blinds, heating , speakers & lights all easily controllable with my voice! The coffee machine was a dream come true & oh my, the coffee beans! I was in heaven every morning!! I also loved being able to walk everywhere, with all I needed nearby. Very cool to have the option to walk in the mountains as easily as a wander around the town. Buddy & moxie were great fun to be around. They kept watch over me at night, we played lots of games & I won’t forget the magical evenings, with Moxie cuddles whilst looking at the insane views of the town & mountains! I felt like I was in a movie! Thank you, all of you, for such a fantastic experience, it was a real privilege to spend time in your world. xx
I’d recommend sitting here if you have the chance! Kuna is lovely, she’s a husky and super playful, will get close to you easily :) and Piggy loves cuddles! Quilo takes some more time to trust but at the end he even let me pet him so that was nice! Erin was super helpful throughout the whole stay so it was all very easy. Thank you!!
My stay at Helen’s with Elsi was incredible. Elsi is so well behaved and lovely to be around. She’ll follow you from room to room, eager for walks and play time - though equally happy to sleep throughout the day. We enjoyed many beautiful walks through the Glasgow botanic gardens (a very short stroll from Helen’s house). It was the perfect location for exploring west Glasgow bars, cafes and restaurants. Also close to the subway to get into the centre of town. Helen and her son Louis were so hospitable on my arrival and easy to communicate with. This has been my favourite housesit so far. Would highly recommend!
We thoroughly enjoyed our recent sit at John and Sharon's beautiful home, looking after the adorable Lexi and her feline friends. John and Sharon were most warm and welcoming and made sure that we were happy with all aspects of their home and pet care. Lexi was a joy to look after and we enjoyed taking her out on walks both nearby and in the car further afield. We visited some charming small towns and villages and spent a sunny afternoon in Stratford walking with Lexi. Cosy evenings by the fire were enjoyed with Lexi and Beryl, with Cissie making the odd guest appearance. A memorable sit, thank you both, we hope that we may return sometime.
Housesitting for Danielle was such a joy! Her feisty little Lulu was so fun to look after and Dani's place is a proper oasis in Dallas. Close to the city center, but far enough away that her apartment is quiet and comfortable, but very accessible for exploring the city. Lulu has such a personality and it was so rewarding to slowly win her trust! Would highly recommend this sit to anyone interested in exploring Dallas and getting some time away!
