Judge and I were lucky enough to have such perfect weather that we spent most of our week outside, trekking miles and miles of adventures around Brooklyn! He’s such a sweetheart with a bold presence that’s still gentle enough to befriend all the bodega cats :) He loves cheering up all the passersby from his stoop or random park bench. Super well behaved. Great on the leash. LOVES being brushed. Embraced my friends’ dogs (and newborn) with gusto and poise. He always went with the flow - whether it was lying around the park with the breeze in his hair or playing fetch over and over when the mood struck. Nick and Kate were lovely, easy going hosts and regardless of time zones, super responsive and always making sure we were having a good time. Their home is beautiful, clean, inviting, and super comfortable (we both had trouble getting out of that luxe bed at a decent hour!) I would absolutely sit for them again in a heartbeat :)
What a lovely dog and house to sit at! Not only is Chaga a friendly, easy and beautiful dog to take care, Asya was very kind hospitable and helpful during my stay. I was lucky enough to arrive the night before and have dinner with Asya and her lovely family. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Asya, her family and Chaga. Chaga was the sweetest, happiest and easiest dog to sit. I would definitely jump at the opportunity to housesit again :)
Aussie is a beautiful old man who loves to keep you company, he is super well behaved and trained which makes it all the easier to care for. We enjoyed living the rural Irish lifestyle in a beautiful house/ landscape. Amy and John were awesome and easy to talk to, loved it
Great sit with Ralphie! He's a cheeky chappy & very snuggly! He sleeps well downstairs, puts himself to bed when you go up, doesn't bark and loves snuggles on the sofa & sitting on your lap. He's excited on his walks and is very responsive to commands. He likes a treat when he's been walking well. He likes to chew & play with some things you leave within reach. His favourite of mine were balls of socks, so just make sure things not to be played with are out of reach/shut away. Emily & Dan were great. Good communication with clear instructions, gave me fab foodie recommendations to check out in the area & kindly dropped me to the station when I left. Their home is nice, tidy & clean. I had my own room with desk & screens I could use for work which was really handy. The house is less than a 15 minute walk from the tram & a short walk to Beckenham highstreet with nice brunch places, restaurants and parks. Already miss little Ralph & would absolutely sit again!
I had the best time ever at Pj & Victoria’s beautiful place with their very sweet Skye. Skye was a bit shy at first since she got scared recently, but day by day she got out more and it was melting my heart to see her progress and warm up to me. The place is wonderful, filled with light and has literally anything you need. They both were responsive within seconds when I needed something and even left me with food to use. Location-wise you have everything just around the corner. I’d start every day with a walk through beautiful southwark park! I’d do this sit any time again, what a wonderful time, wonderful people and wonderful home.
I enjoyed this brief house-sit. Royce was a great dog and easy to care for. This house and bed were clean and comfortable. I slept great.
