We were so happy to find these two. They live locally so itâs great that they were able to come meet us prior to the sit. Alanna & Jeffrey took great care of beans and sent us pics. They were very tidy and clean and we will definitely invite them to sit for us anytime.
Harper and Ozzy are very calm and sweet, and they love to stay close by in hopes of head pats and belly rubs. They are great couch cuddlers and are happy to curl up with you for a snooze. Harper likes to show off her plushy toys and she takes her medication without any fuss. Ozzy will gladly stroll the beach with you. They are a pleasure to care for! Janet and George's home is lovely; just as described. We felt very comfortable and welcomed. The yard is beautiful, with a great space for relaxing on the deck, in the hot tub, or by the bonfire. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend sitting for them!
Had a great time staying with Babs, the sweetest bunny ever! It was my first experience pet-sitting a rabbit, but Elisabeth and Robyn left very clear instructions and were always there to assist online with any questions. Babs was so much fun to be around and come home to everyday, so sweet with such a unique personality that made taking care of her even more enjoyable. The apartment is beautiful, full of artwork and books, and I had a wonderful time exploring Park Slope and other areas of Brooklyn. I feel very fortunate to have had the chance to stay with Babs and enjoy the holiday season in this wonderful city, especially in the midst of these challenging times. Highly recommended :)

Starting this off with I don't do reviews, I've left maybe 2 in my entire life and has to be something that has changed my life. I canât even put into words how thankful we are that we found such kind people to watch our dog! It was our first time away from our beagle/hound so we were anxious, but Josh soothed our worries during our whole trip! They are so very thorough with care and specific needs for your pet. Salem recently recovered from heartworm treatment, and they had a vet tech check his heart and lungs every day as a precaution. Josh loved Salem like he was his own and sent us lots of photos of Salem playing with his new doggy friends that were also staying! Itâs a huge sigh of relief that we found the place that can watch Salem if we ever need them to. Josh and Bob are truly dog people and we canât thank them enough!
The Pittsburgh Pet Concierge is an amazing boutique pet boarding facility, that loves your fur babies like they are their own. I have taken the most difficult pup there and they accommodated him to his needs, and now our new pup who is easy going. They have play yards that they can play in, you get photos of your fur friends daily as well. I will only use the Pittsburgh Pet Concierge knowing full well my fur kid is in the best hands ever. They offer so much flexibility with my work schedule since itâs in a home with 24/7 supervision. My Australian shepherd is always so excited to go and is always tired when she gets picked up. A review just isnât enough honestly. Josh & Bob are two of the most AMAZING human beings Iâve ever come into contact with. They are kind, accommodating and most importantly selfless. They have been watching Lola since she was a year old. Lola sometimes doesnât do well with strangers and they took on the challenge. They never pushed her. They went at her pace. They never made me feel bad for her reactivity. They never made me feel like a bother or that she was a burden. She is truly VIP here and they love her as if she was their own. Loki has been seeing them for the last 2 years. He too has his own issues. He isnât the best in new environments with dogs heâs unsure of and Josh & Bob didnât bat an eye at taking him on too. They truly treat them like their own dogs. I never have to worry about them when theyâre there. Sadly, we are moving 9hrs away and will no longer be able to use PPC. This is probably the hardest thing about moving and trusting new people with our dogs. But Josh has offered to help in so many ways to ease our transition and any chance we can have to have them watch our pups again, we will. Josh & Bob have become more than our dog boarders, theyâre our family. If you need someone to watch your dog I wouldnât recommend anyone else. PPC is the absolute best place.
We had THE BEST experience possible at Pittsburgh Pet Concierge. We had never done any kind of boarding for our 3 pups so we were extremely hesitant to do so, but needed the service as we were going on a week long trip. We had called a few places around the Pittsburgh area but Joshua at Pittsburgh Pet Concierge was so attentive and helpful from the very beginning which made this place really stand out. From the registration, to the transparency and the attentiveness, it really is a 5 star experience from start to finish. We live in the north hills but will drive the extra 25 minutes every time. They make the process so easy and Joshua kept us updated every single day with photos, videos and questions. They were so happy and relaxed. The dogs do not sleep alone in cages, they have someone with them at all times, which was huge for us. I could go on and on and on about the experience that we had with them but I will sum it up by saying that if you choose any other boarding service in the Pittsburgh area, youâre truly doing your pups a disservice. I used the cat boarding services for my 2-year-old tortie while I was on vacation and my expectations were met beyond my initial expectations! Josh and everyone were very respectful and reassuring that my cat would be safe and happy, and they proved to be right on the money. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing my cat was in good and safe hands, and not in sound pound with limited space or surrounded by other cats or dogs she doesn't know. Going forward, this is where I'll be taking my cat the next time I go on vacation!
There's no one like Maria from Hustle Puppy! We booked her for several weeks of attention and exercise for our two dogs, and she did an AMAZING job! We started with a meet-and-greet with the pups, where she stopped by, got to know them (and us), and walked us through how everything would work. It was crystal clear from the VERY FIRST MINUTE that she LOVED dogs and would give ours all the attention and care they need! Maria is responsible, communicative, and trustworthy â rare qualities to encounter in services like these. She told us exactly what to expect, stayed in touch when things needed to adjust, and above all did what she said she would do, when she said she'd do it! We especially appreciate how self-sufficient she is with our dogs. She just comes in, takes care of them, and sends us a report (and pictures!) on how they do. We don't even have to be there, because she just takes care of everything (a BIG plus). Bottom line, we strongly recommend Maria and Hustle Puppy as trustworthy, high-quality care for dogs!

Hustle Puppy has showed up for our pets in every way possible. We have a whole âzooâ here and Maria gives each and every pet her absolute best. My fiance and I were both worried about finding someone to care for our pets the way we do. Maria is amazing! She was texting me updates throughout the day along with pictures of my pups having the best time. My Golden Retriever has some anxiety issues and Maria went above and beyond to calm him down by playing relaxing music and laying with him on the floor. When we started to plan a trip to Italy, I couldnât get too excited until I knew who would watch our dogs. Our regular sitter could only cover the first several nights, so I had to find someone to cover the rest of the trip. I looked for hours to find someone who meets our high standards and could stay at our home, especially since we would be an ocean away. Once we did a meet and greet with Gabby I knew she would be perfect. Our dogs loved her and she sent us tons of photos, videos and updates. There is no doubt these pups had constant love and attention. I never had to worry about them which allowed us to fully enjoy our vacation. When we came home they were calm and healthy. I don't even know where to begin. Let's just say I have two high maintenance dogs, one being elderly and one being a Jack Russell (enough said on that one!) I always struggle to relax when I am away, because the older dog has separation anxiety, and at nearly fifteen years old, I know her days are numbered. It is hard for me to have peace of mind not being able to be the main caretaker of her. Then I found Gabby. I have never had a vacation where I was able to relax and not be worried about how everything was going at home. Gabby went above and beyond, even with the crazy medication and supplement schedule I have the senior gal on, and the demanding nature of a high drive breed. She sent updates and pictures every single day. I did not have to wonder what was happening or how everything was going. I honestly could write pages about how amazing our experience with Gabby was, but let's just say this.. BOOK HER NOW. I'm already looking for dates for vacation next year so I can be sure to have her in advance. Could not have asked for anything more from her at all. If I could give an infinite amount of stars, I would!!
I have 2 tiny dogs that have super sensitive stomachs and eat 4 times a day. I had to travel out of state for almost a week and was extremely preoccupied about leaving my 2 little ones. I found Melrose pet resort, and let me tell you that Gabby is the most amazing, comprehensive, and pet lover dog sitter you could found. She took care of my babies like they were hers, she went above and beyond to accommodate them so they could be separated from bigger dogs, as I asked, they could have their meals at their regular schedule and she also kept updating me constantly with videos and pictures of my little ones. They had such a great time with her, got to make a few little friends that were staying at her place, and even participated in a Christmas photoshoot!. She gave me piece of mind while on my trip, and I definitely will be using her services next time I travel.

Gabbyâs attention to detail is on another level. She did an amazing job with our dog, Remi. He is a creature of habit, and his transition from us being out of town to Gabby staying with him and taking care of his routine was seamless. She thinks of everything to ease your mind of what is going on. Her love for animals is apparent, and I appreciate that so much. Remi has specific medications that have to be taken, and I was not worried about Gabby covering everything perfectly. I cannot rave about how great Gabby and Kris were with my dog! Being a sitter myself I know I can trust them with my anxious little boy going forward. I have never left my dog with anyone but my family before and him being an older and anxious dog I was not sure how heâd do. But almost immediately Gabby and Kris made him feel so comfortable and right at home. He received all the attention and affection he needed and I also received all the updates and pictures I needed to know he was doing great. Knowing how well he was taken care of now makes me wonder why I was even worried about him to begin with! Talk about an AMAZING dog sitter and person, Melrose Pet Resort is a far better pet sitter that I ever came across. I came from out of state, and we were recommended to Melrose Pet Resort while we look for a home. Contacted her and immediately got a quick response. I never in my life have as much interaction with her as other dog sitters in the past. I have a Deaf dog and one with diet needs... Gabby constantly send photo's and video's of there activities, and I could see how happy my fur babies were. She is very personal and active with my pets and I am excited to have her again and as well as Chico and Bella. I am glad I am moving to Florida knowing when I need Gabby again, I will never have to worry about my fur babies again, knowing they will be in great care.... WOOF WOOF APPROVED
Hands-down, the best pet sitter I've ever had the honor to work with. It was like leaving the dogs with a family friend. If I even had the slightest worry about them or their care, it vanished in the rain of delightful photos and videos and the constant updates about breakfast, dinner, lizard hunts and games of Ball. It is just possible that my dogs had a better time than I did while I was on vacation. They stayed in their very own room, in crates for everyone's safety, but were out and about quite a lot of the time (certainly WAY more than they would be in a kennel or daycare) and they were treated like family. They got to "help" make dinner and cuddle on the sofa and watch TV. Obi even got to chase MANY BALLS AT THE SAME TIME. Heaven! Obi and Ursa can't wait to stay with Aunt Gabby again!
We recently put our baby Jasmine here after searching for a boarding facility for weeks. And I can't say how happy we are that we decided to choose Melrose Pet Center opposed to one of those facilities. Not only did she get personalized care, she got love and affection the entire time. We know so because Gabby sent us updates daily; mornings, afternoons when she could, and night. She sent Pictures and videos and Jasmine looked like she was having the time of her life. I also loved the cute bandanas she had while we got the pictures. We were even lucky enough to get a pic of Jas with Santa in their home (Thanks Kris!! Lol). Jasmine also enjoyed playing with her dogs, tiring them out all day! If we could give more than 5 stars, we absolutely would! Thank you again for treating our pup like she was one of your own!

We love Walkerâs Pet Hotail! Our Charlie is loving but sometimes particular and Walkers welcomes him with open arms. He has been to daycare and boarded and has always left happy and TIRED. Its very clean, no smells, and the receptionist is always so pleasant. I do make phone calls and check on him when boarded and they are always willing to give a quick update. The play areas have indoor and outdoor spaces with 3 separate play areas depending on size and personality. They also have small play areas and walking paths for the pups who enjoy their alone time. Ive never boarded a cat however their homes appear comfy, clean, and a lot of window space for the cats to peer out. Go in for a tour and see for yourself!

My dog goes to daycare here 4 times a week. Staff is really good and the Facilityâs management and ownership are second to none.
So my girl KY is a rescue Chihuahua Beagle mix but has had trauma so she is very skiddish. Sam(or Steve im bad with names) and the rest of the staff took great care of my sweet girl. And Q(?) who brought her in. My girl knows and can read character. So when I watched her go with him and not growl, bark, or show any apprehension or fear. I know shw was oing to be fine. But she was more than fine. She was great and i was great because i could leave her there without worry while i was on a difficult trip. The staff went above and beyond to take care of my sweetheat and get her ready for our trip in a few weeks. Truly amazing and I was blown away. In a world were often money is paid to a business and the business does not take customer's needs into account, my experience with Walker's Pet Hotel was a Breath of Fresh Air. And I have been using walker's pethotail for years but at the Murrysville location on and off for the last 18 years with prevous girl Duchess. Feels like weâre leaving our dog with family. The staff there is loving and attentive to every dog and cat that comes in, whether for daycare or for an extended stay. Our dog loves it there. Sheâs very well cared for and is excited every day to go. And when we pick her up after work, she is tired and happy from the social experience.
Really great place.... Clean store front.... Inside of building is very well kept and clean.... Great location on route 30 centralized in North Versailles.... My dog loves going there and playing with all the other dogs and getting some of her energy out..... 2 year old St Bernard that still thinks she's a little lap dog puppy.... Lol
We love walkers in north Versailles! My girl gets excited every time we walk in and she sees the staff. She always looks happy when I pick her up and she sleeps so well after playing hard. Prices are good in my opinion, and theyâve always been able to accommodate scheduling requests for us.
booking was very easy, they actually tried to help me find a local vet when i wasnât sure iâd be able to get shots in time. they took my last minute boarding request for a holiday weekend, check in was super quick and painless, and on pickup their review of my dogs stay was way more detailed and thorough than i expected. i was worried about finding a place for my senior girl but weâll definitely go back here!

Have brought my 12 year old lab here many times. 1st visit for my 6month old puppy. Very accommodating to my fur babies. Bringing them back in 10 days. Plenty of supervised play time, clean accommodations and going above and beyond for finicky dogs. Extra caring caregivers that can not be beat. Even has pick up services if you can't bring your dogs to them. Affordable prices as well. Always happy to leave my fur babies with country lane.

Bella loved her stay there. They are great with taking care of her. She is on daily meds, special diet, and doesn't get along well with most other dogs. She socialized with other dogs and they groomed her. She was on a nice vacation while we were.
We have taken our dogs to Mancusos Pet Hotel for 40 years. The dogs love going there, and they get the best care. Mancusos prides themselves that someone is always there overnight (not as prevalent in other kennels as you would like to believe). They are the best.

We would not take our dogs anywhere else. The attention, care, professional knowledge, combined with flexibility and reasonable prices are unmatched in the Pittsburgh area. We boarded our German Shepherd over the weekend for the first time. The owners were very kind and accommodating and took great care of our girl! I like that they posted pictures and videos on their Facebook page so I could see how she was doing. She looked happy and content! We also had her groomed before we picked her up. Their groomer did a fantastic job and it was more affordable and better quality work than Petsmart where we usually have her groomed. Overall great experience and we will definitely use them again!
Allie came to my home and trimmed my cat's nails. She made an appointment to come over last week but never showed up. Never called or text or answered my calls. Very poor way to do business. I don't trust these people at all
We had utilized pet waste removal services. They were super disorganized and really poor communicators. They used to bill monthly, but then we stopped getting billed. They were continuing to show up to remove the dog poop though. I reached out multiple times with no response via both text and facebook messenger (left on read). Then we got a bill for FIVE MONTHS at once, which we immediately paid. When I asked about when billing would be (monthly, quarterly, every 6 months, etc.) they never responded. About six months later, they just stopped showing up, not notice. They would occasionally not show up a week (and usually when I reached out they'd eventually get back to me that they were behind a day or would be out the following week), so we weren't initially concerned. Turns out they decided to stop servicing our area with no notification, as I saw someone else complaining about being dropped with no notice, too. Took me 3 tries to finally get a response from the owner, Allison. We got set up with Poop911 (who have been doing consistent weekly billing and very reliable) and just moved on. Don't you know, in January, we got a bill from Pittsburgh Pet for services they did FIVE MONTHS prior, in AUGUST. With as inconsistent as they were and such poor communicators, I would not trust them to care for my dog. We were initially interested in daycare for our active pup & talked to Matt about it, but when we realized how poorly they communicated and the inconsistencies with billing, there's no way I'd trust them with the care of my pups.
The owners here are responsible and caring for animals, that's the best thing you can find in a local boarding place. They've taken great care of my dog, even though he kinda aggressive towards strangers, they didn't hesitate a bit. It's made it so we can still take trips without having to worry about our boy. I would definitely recommend checking them out for boarding and daycare.
Wow this place is incredible! We took our 3 pups here today for the first time and we were hands down blown away! The pups had a great spa day and we are happy customers! We love Modern Dog! You can tell Jordan (owner) and his staff Tim, Noel etc really love dogs and enjoy caring for them. We have a very high energy pup that needs to socialize and they welcome her with open arms.They tolerate her antics with ease and most importantly she always comes home tired and relaxed. Modern Dog has been a life saver!
Modern Dog is the BEST! They have taken such great care of our dog, and she is always so thrilled to spend a day with them. Jordan and the rest of the staff are incredibly friendly and reliable. We have also really appreciated their pickup and dropoff add-on service! On top of all that, they do seasonal photoshoots with the dogs which is so cute and makes Modern Dog extra speical. All-around amazing doggy daycare with wonderful humans running it -- highly, highly recommend.
Our dog is kind of a grumpy old man but he absolutely LOVES going here. Staff is great, our dog is always super excited to see them. Makes us feel really good about dropping him off. Super reasonably priced, they take great care of the animals and are really communicative and friendly. Wonderful place.
Modern Dog is fantastic. The owner Jordan and all the staff are really great and I know they take great care of our dogs, Pepper and Dino (and I know they can sometimes be a handful!). They also do great seasonal photos with the dogs for every holiday!
We love Modern Dog, and more importantly, our dog loves Modern Dog! The team caring for the pups is the best. It is wonderful to be able to trust that your pup is well cared for while at daycare. We are so lucky to have found Modern dog.
My dog gets ecstatic to go and that tells me a lot. On the days we take our pup, he runs inside without looking back. Typically you have to trick him to go into places:)They take very good care of pups! People who work there are very kind and wonderful and truly care about animals. Modern Dog is wonderful! I visited 3 different options before deciding on daycare for my 5 month old puppy. Modern Dog impressed me by how careful they are to make sure all the pups are having fun and acclimating well. It is a small business and you can tell everyone involved really cares. They also offer local pick-up and drop off which is a lifesaver for me! My dog absolutely LOVES coming here and always returns home happy and tired from playing all day.
There is not enough to say about Danielle and her team but let me try. (1) They love dogs. (2) They love my dogs and make my husband and me better dog parents. (3) They are 120% reliable and they do everything plus more to help their clients and the pups. (4) They are "good people". You know what I mean. (5) Danielle, the owner, is creative, dynamic, filled with positive energy, and just a terrific person who goes out of her way to help her clients. (6) Where else could your dog celebrate her own birthday plus every other major holiday on the calendar with a party? Danielle throws these dogs theme parties (with decorations and games and photos) for Valentine's Day, July 4th, Halloween (oh, that's a good one) ... Easter, Xmas, Thanksgiving ... the list is endless. This is the best place ever.
5 stars doesn't do Modern Dog justice! Danielle and her staff are the best. They always go the extra mile with holiday parties and photos. Our dog is always excited to go to daycare and always exhausted when we pick her up. The best money you will spend as a new dog parent!
An absolutely superbly-run, boutique doggie day care. Delightful and energetic and detail-oriented owner. Excellent staff who love the dogs and a fun program of events around every holiday/special day. Our three dogs use both the day care and the boarding options and they love both! We have also done walks sometimes, and they have been great, too. Well-priced for the high quality service.
