Wonderful experience! We spent four days in Amsterdam taking care of Pippi and Thaddeus, they are absolutely adorable and fun to be around. Darren is an amazing host, nice and communicative, it was a pleasure to meet him :) The apartment was lovely, clean and comfortable, perfectly situated for exploring Amsterdam. We highly recommend this housesit!

I can't speak highly enough of Erica, Eric, and their group of kitties. Erica and Eric are two of the nicest, most generous people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I arrived a night early and they graciously cooked dinner for me and welcomed me into their home like I was family. We exchanged cat stories and laughs over a glass of wine, and it felt like I had known them for years. They're both wonderful people. Their house is absolutely beautiful and their backyard feels like your own private sanctuary. My boyfriend and I spent so much time out back relaxing in the pool and hanging out in the comfy chairs listening to the beautiful wind chimes. We also found ourselves admiring all the incredible artwork throughout the home (inside and out!) on a daily basis. And so much of it is handmade by Erica herself! Truly incredible pieces. Erica created such an amazing welcome guide that had all the information we needed to care for the cats and their home. And she included a slew of recommended restaurants and activities in the area. Many of which we tried, and loved! We fell in love with not only their home but their incredible cats as well. Remy and Finn are stunningly handsome and so fun to play with. They both love their spring toys, Remy loves his cat wheel, and chin scritches are Finn's fave. The outdoor creamsicle crew came around a few times for us too. Momma cat would even snuggle up in my lap outside every night. We had such a fantastic time and hope to have the pleasure of sitting for Erica and Eric again!
I had a wonderful time at Gaby and Simon's in every direction. Rocky is a rockstar! He is 16 years old and in terrific shape. A pleasure to look after. My dog Sonny got on a treat with him, they were a very cute pair. It was hard to leave him! The house is beautiful and has a fabulous energy about it, which simply comes down from the owners. It is super comfortable, light and easy making it a pleasure to stay in. Amersham on the Hill is a 5 minute walk and has everything you need including a small Waitrose and M&S and plenty of cafes. I loved meeting Gaby and Simon who are very kind, generous and great company. Communication was quick and easy. I felt like I had made two new friends. I so hope that I can have a revisit if our dates match up in the future with this being one of my favourite housesits out of 18 months back to back sitting.
Monty and Joe are super cute boys. Joe enjoys chasing the mouse toy and the sponge balls around the flat. You will have so much fun playing with him. Monty enjoys hanging out with you wherever you go around the flat, on the terrace while you enjoy the awesome views of the lake, and outdoors on the walks. The flat is in a great location near the lake, fields, and forests so you have plenty of choices to take him for walks. Jane was very easy to communicate with. She and her partner were also so kind to leave us snacks and some lovely food in the fridge. If you get the chance to visit Zurich I would recommend this sit.
