G Scott
Scott runs a rescue farm with alpaca, sheep, geese, ducks, donkeys, pot-bellied pigs, rabbit, turkey, guinea fowl, hens and rooster, and variety of fish. Scott toured me through all my responsibilities on the day before he traveled. The animals are all friendly except for the rooster who can get a bit aggressive. Lily (pot-bellied pig) needs a little extra attention since the other animals tend to eat her corn. I found leading her to her sleeping area, leading the other animals away for feeding, and then returning to feed Lily did the trick. Most of the animals are grazing in the summer and are very easy to care. This was a unique farm experience that I was grateful to have.

Never thought I’d fall in love with a toy poodle!
A very comfortable home, perfectly placed for walks over Exmoor and the Quantocks. Dave, Paula and kids are very welcoming and have organised the house and grounds so well it’s a delight to look after them.
Feeding the chickens and guinea fowl (and by default the pheasants) reminded me of my old smallholding, then tucking up to the hoots of owls coming from the trees was a pure pleasure.
Thank you all of you for introducing us to the delightful Scooby and Lola.

Barbara B
Barbara's cat sit was excellent. Loved the elderly cat Markus who is very calm and affectionate. The home is surrounded by lush gardens, woods, and beautiful flowers and a rose bush. Amazing hikes are at the doorstep and a Skyline Commmunity Market a short hike away with amazing produce and gourmet foods from around the world. The hosts Barbara and Geoff are kind and hospitable. We very much enjoyed our cat sit here! Thank you.

Daniela
Daniela is a great host. The communication was very smooth and easy. I arrived earlier than planned and she welcomed me without hesitation. Olaf was a bit shy at first, but he quickly warmed up to me. By the next morning he was all excited to go on his morning walk. He’s a super affectionate dog, he loves to cuddle in the couch and to play. I didn’t have any problem with him during my stay. He’s a well behaved dog.
The only negative point is the cleanliness of the shower (hard water stains and mold due to humidity). I was okay for a weekend. I left the apartment as I found it.

We had an amazing time looking after these fantastic dogs (and chickens), though it sounds like 4 dogs is a lot of work, it really isn't! These beautiful labs are so well behaved and have a set routine that is easy to follow. They have a lovely property to explore and exercise in, so there is no need for leads, walking on roads etc, they have plenty of space to exercise in their own backyard.

We had such a great time looking after them all of them and learning their personality traits, every one of them are so friendly, love cuddles and being around you, they were an absolute pleasure to look after and would quite honestly say that looking after 4 dogs is no harder than looking after 1.

The house is located in a beautiful rural setting, quiet and peaceful, but only a short drive to the local town for supplies when needed. Comfortable & homely it a very lovely home which makes you feel very much at ease while pet sitting. We thoroughly enjoyed our pet sitting and would not hesitate to come back and doing all again when we have the chance.

Thanks for having us, we miss them all already!

Louise is lovely, as is her property. The cat Tigits is shy at first, but once he warms up to you he’s lovely; he really loves his fur scratched! Louise is kind, communicated well and was very accommodating. The whole sit was a pleasure!
