We have only recently joined zeewoi and this was our first sit. We had someone lined up to do the sit but unfortunately, due to personal circumstances they had to cancel. Barry & Mary stepped into the breach just 3 days before we were due to go away, when we’d all but abandoned hope that we could go on our much-awaited holiday! Nothing seemed to faze them, they just wanted us to relax and enjoy our time away. We couldn’t have wished for a nicer couple to leave Lexi and Maybe with, they both have lots of experience of dogs and cats which made it easy to hand ours into their care. They are also well accustomed to all aspects of property maintenance, although fortunately this wasn’t required (this time!)– with the exception of sorting out the zip & link bed – but that’s another story...... We received photos of Lexi enjoying her walks and her very important time on the sofa having her tummy rubbed. Meanwhile ‘Maybe’, who has always been a very shy cat even sat on Mary’s knee, an absolute first. She will sit on Chris or I, but in her 14 years she’s never gone to anyone else. This is the highest tribute Maybe can pay! The house was immaculate on our return, (more immaculate we fear than when we left it!) nothing out of place, the plants (inside and out) were all thriving. They had very thoughtfully washed and dried their bedding and towels, and to top it all we were left a lovely home cooked chicken tagine for supper – above and beyond! Barry and Mary are extremely professional in their approach to taking on a sit and everything they do during their stay, we would recommend them 100%. They are both lovely people to have around. They arrived as strangers and left as friends, we can’t praise them enough and would ask them back without hesitation.
Teddy is a wonderful house and pet sitter, she truly cares about your pets and went above and beyond caring for my senior dog when she wasn't feeling well. Thank you Teddy!
