We had a lovely stay at Chris and Ellynn’s home in Pagosa. They took Radar on their trip with them but we had the pleasure of taking him on a couple walks and he’s a sweet and energetic boy! Chessie is sweet, cuddly, and loves being in your lap. She ventures outside during the day and wonders back into the house late afternoon consistently. She was super easy and we fell in love with her personality. The house has every amenity you could ask for, has great views, and is very comfortable. Chris and Ellynn had great hiking suggestions and the town of Pagosa has some delicious restaurants and coffee shops. We really enjoyed our stay!
Susan & I & our cat Fifi all enjoyed our sit in Sara & Jason's Eichler house. Their dog Pepper pined for her family for a few days & didn't eat, but she soon was enjoying life again & we enjoyed her energy & enthusiasm. It was fun watching how she & Fifi got used to each other. Fifi trusted Pepper more every day & ended up eating bits of Pepper's left over kibble while Pepper watched! Before very long we were all sleeping peacefully in the same bedroom. Susan loved their 3 semi-retired chickens & delighted in making them special chicken salads & brought them grubs & caterpillars from the garden. In return they would give us an egg every other day. Their house is wonderfully restored & well designed & lovely to be in with its floor to ceiling glass across almost the entire back wall. The house was very clean, all the appliances worked well & the kitchen was a delight to cook in because it was so well organized & well designed. The neighborhood had primarily Eichler houses which were interesting to look at as we walked Pepper. She pulls on the leash, but it's her only fault. Sara & Jason communicated with us well even though they were many time zones away in Australia. They also left very good written information about Pepper & the house & neighborhood. The location is wonderful - close to hiking trails of all kinds & very convenient to shopping. An excellent sit - endearing dog, nice house, nice neighborhood, lovely family.
Sue’ s cottage It is a comfortable large house set in a quiet and beautiful part of Gloucestershire . A large network of walks throughout woods and fields, Bath and Bristol a short drive away. The pets are so nice to look after. Foxy is such a kind dog. Tansy and Fleur have their own character, they are fun and also very cuddly. Tess is a friendly horse who enjoys going out for a ride, she is very responsive to the care you give her . Samy is her good friend and they keep each other good company. You can easily get attached to them. 2 very friendly happy chickens too who follow you around and deliver extra quality eggs. It is a perfect place for enjoying the countryside and Sue made it very easy for us to feel comfortable and operational!
We were so sad to leave Talullah and Leroy Brown! They were very sweet and easy to take care of. After about a day of Talullah being timid, they were both equally affectionate, and always excited to hop in their truck to go for a walk. Susan left helpful instructions about their routines, and also answered a couple of questions that we had during the sit very quickly and thoroughly. We also got to meet her and the dogs, get a tour of the house, and ask any questions in-person over a home cooked meal the night before the sit. The home and property were incredible - very cozy, and the front porch is the perfect place to relax and listen to the birds day or night. We would highly recommend hanging out with Talullah and Leroy!
OMG!! This little mini Resort where Lily and Teddy lived was very nice, & organized. Instructions were very detailed. Ruth had prepared every meal already & all I had to do was to place each meal in their bowls. I enjoyed my stay. I wouldn’t hesitate returning.  KAT
