Erica was a really fantastic sitter. Solid and consistent communication, super professional and the house was absolutely spotless when we returned. She was also very flexible with our somewhat fluid schedule which was helpful. We can’t wait to have her back!

What a lovely couple! Sandy and Alessandro were excellent house and pet sitters. Our dog, Sadie, adored them both, as did we! They were reliable, self-sufficient, and excellent communicators. They were super sweet with Sadie -- they played and cuddled with her and took her on long walks. (I am certain that Sadie misses them). We knew that our house and all of our pets were in good hands with this couple while we were away, for sure!

I had an amazing weekend at Beth’s house petsitting for Darby and Luna. They’re awesome! Darby is gorgeous, so elegant and Luna is a little princess, very cute. The house is comfortable, cozy with a great view. Beth is Gentle, kind and very easy communicated. I felt in a paradise. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful week! The star of the show is Albie! We fell head over heels in love with this little cutie. She is full of character, playful but well behaved, easy to look after and all-round wonderful.

Darren and Ben were brilliant pet parents- great communication and instructions, and made us feel really welcome and at home. Their house is beautiful and perfectly situation for all that lovely Bristol has to offer.

We were sad to leave, and I am truly missing little Albie. We would love to sit for her again.

Thank you for trusting us Ben and Darren!

Miss Dolly Mischief is a very independent cat. With her own cat flap, she is free to come and go, and enjoys her wanderings. Being outdoors so much, she doesn't even have an indoor cat box! She is very quiet, and enjoys being near you, but with limited contact. However, she doesn't bite or scratch when she has had enough attention. And what a lovely home Cathy has! Spotlessly clean, bright and sunny and recently renovated. A beautifully landscaped private back garden with comfy lounge furniture. Deluxe accommodations! And her hospitality is lovely. We overlapped a day to get the low-down on Dolly and the house, and she prepared a lovely fresh meal, and we had a nice evening getting to know each other. So helpful. We enjoyed our time there very much!

I stayed with Five and Hemlock for some days while Dionne and Mikal was away, and had a wonderful time in their house. The communication was good and their hospitality was even better!
The cats are fun, Five a bit shy but young Hemlock is curious and wants to play and always be near. The chickens was cute too, and provided excellent breakfast-eggs every day!

The house itself has tons of charm and all the modern facilities you need, and the beds are soooo nice! There's walking distance to boutique shops, bars and restaurants and it's a lovely neighborhood to explore. I really enjoyed my days here!

David & Emma
This is a wonderful sit for those that appreciate the great outdoors, situated in glorious isolation in the hills surrounding the village of Penmachno, in the heart of Snowdonia. Emma and David welcomed me into their beautiful home, and were extremely generous hosts, sharing a meal with me upon arrival, leaving me freshly baked bread and cake, and, a month later, sending me home with some delicious goodies from their trip. Their Welcome Guide is thorough, communication was great throughout, and they went above and beyond to ensure that the sit was enjoyable for me.

I have stayed in Penmachno several times before, and the area is just stunning. I was very much looking forward to enjoying walks with Morris, and he proved to be an excellent hill-walking buddy. Great off-lead, he would always check where his human was, and come back to assist if necessary. We climbed Cnicht, Moel Siabod, Arenig Fawr and Y Ro Wen, as well as enjoying the summer solstice sunrise from the top of Crimpiau together. (Well, I’m not sure whether Morris appreciated the sunrise, but he loved having a bit of his breakfast a few hours earlier than usual.) We explored the quarries at Rhiw Bach and Tanygrisiau, and enjoyed countless wanders through the local forest and valley. This sit would suit someone with a lot of energy, who doesn’t mind getting their feet wet, as Morris loves to go off-road and really comes into his own over the rough ground of ‘spaniel territory’. He throws himself into both life and lakes with boundless enthusiasm, and it was a real joy to spend time with him.

Elsa is the sweetest-natured cat I have ever come across, rolling over for strokes, and never once putting her claws out at me. Don’t be fooled by her angelic looks though – she brought several ‘gifts’ into the house whilst I was there, one of them rather large! I think she really missed Emma and David initially, but perked up noticeably when I showed her the grooming brush. She absolutely loves being brushed, and presents herself covered in grass and waits patiently for you to brush it all out. It was lovely to curl up on the sofa at the end of the day with both Elsa and Morris for company, and they eventually agreed to share the house-sitter.

It was lovely to meet Grace the pony, who lives in an idyllic field with a stream running through it, at the bottom of the hill. We all had to pile into her field shelter one evening to wait for a downpour to end (this is Wales, after all!), and it was really relaxing just sitting there listening to her munching her dinner. She had an appointment with the farrier whilst I was there, and was very easy to catch and handle, and she also enjoyed being brushed. I tended to walk down in the evenings to feed her, but would stop and check on her if driving past as well, and she learnt to recognise my car and greeted me with a sweet little whinny.

After a month of caring for the animals I really miss them all. It was especially hard to leave Morris, and I was still sniffling by the time I reached the Telford services. He really is a very special character, and I’m hoping I can dog-nap him for a walk later on this year when I’m next in the area.

Julia gave us a warm welcome and showed us round her lovely home. She provided clear instructions on how to care for Kitty and the hens who were no trouble. Kitty enjoyed sitting with us in the evening and we enjoyed freshly laid eggs. The house is very comfortable and we enjoyed exploring Lymm which is a very picturesque village with nice walks along the canal and round the nearby lake. We would be very happy to return.
