Brian & Rose are a great team, not only were they caring for our two dogs, one 9 years old and the other 1 year old, (Maizey… better known as crazy Maizey) they also took exceptional good care of our yard during one of the hottest times in the summer, constantly watering without losing a single plant.
Among all the challenges our 1 year-old lab provided for their entertainment, we returned home to happy puppies and a very clean home.
we hope they can sit for us again in the near future.

`We had a Lovely two week sit at Elle, and her family's home. The family met us on arrival and took their time to show us around to ensure we were comfortable and knew how everything worked before leaving.

The house and the grounds it sits on are truly fantastic. The grounds / garden are private and offer a great place to relax- we really loved the big trees and the backdrop that they offer, as well as the opportunity to potter about with the dogs or to have a game of tennis.

Alfie and Ziggi are two lovable Dachshunds, each with their own unique personality. Alfie is super affectionate and you will find that Ziggy is always up for a trip out or a quick potter in the garden- he did keep us amused by the way he buries himself in a bed under a blanket. Both dogs walk well off lead, travel well and were no trouble when we took them with us for a lunch / dinner out. Alfie can require some reassurance when out and about but is no trouble at all.

The family home is beautifully appointed, comfortable and has a good internet connection. Although all the amenities of Haslemere are within a walking distance, car is preferrable to give an opportunity to explore the beautiful South Downs and other surrounding little towns / villages.

We would have no reservations in looking after Ziggi and Alfie again, should the opportunity arise. Thanks again Elle & family for having us over.

Best wishes,
Sirpa, Paul and Kristian

Victoria
We had a lovely time looking after Mr Mittens and Magwitch for Victoria. They were really friendly cats and no trouble at all. Mr M is great at taking his injections, and makes no fuss. The house is cosy and in a great location close to Bude, and we enjoyed a nice day out surfing while we were there.
Victoria is really responsive and replied extremely quickly to any queries we had during the sit. Would definitely come back :)

Cat sitting Malcolm and Boris in a lovely home, for Esther and her family, was a real treat. Very comfortable sit, straightforward with great, loving cats.

Gillian
Bruno, Dash and Leia were great to look after. Gillian left very well laid out instructions for the care of the pups. The house is next to a nice walking trail which made it easy to get the dogs out.

There are so many great things to report on our Las Vegas pet sit watching Siena and Gigi for Hall and Chris, it’s hard to know where to start — probably with the “girls” themselves. Admittedly we had been more of what one would call big dog people. Having been introduced to small dogs via pet sitting has introduced us to a new, little world. Seems, as was the case with Siena and Gigi, that the smaller they are, the bigger their personalities! Having spent 10 weeks with the “girls” we both agree that we really did get to communicate, understand and appreciate them and their breed (rat terriers) quite well. They both loved curling up with us while watching TV most nights. Speaking of TV. . . their projection screen covered almost a whole wall and we had our pick of 6 reclining chairs, complete with theatre lighting, tray tables and cup holders. Who could want for more?

But more it was . . . as it grew quite warm (but didn’t seem so much so with the very low humidity) we enjoyed almost daily lounging in their sublime pool with substantial area of a raised shelf, waterfalls and attached hot tub. Seeing that their home was on one of many dead end cul-de-sacs we were able to walk the girls comfortably without much traffic at all. Going early enough in the morning, or as the sun was setting, was comfortable and provided a lot of shade too. With Gigi being older and having hip/leg challenges there was a high-quality stroller that came in handy so she could still get out with her sister but not overwork her hip. Looping both girls’ leashes through the stroller handle made for easy dog walking; Gigi never attempted to jump out of the stroller (she looked like royalty sitting in there) and Siena never got tangled and walked nicely always on one side.

David was able to take advantage of the wide bicycle lanes on a lot of major LV roads, but mostly enjoyed biking the Red Rock Canyon highway to do 30+ miles non-stop with gorgeous scenery.

Everything in their home is top quality, including the treadmill which I was able to use on almost a daily basis; attempting to reach my daily step count — much easier with the A/C (LOL)! David, the cook in our family, really appreciated working with the quality cookware and cutlery. A gas line to their grill made it so convenient to grill out and kept the cooking heat out of the kitchen. They left us with a list of people to call for every possible situation, which came in handy once or twice. Their one level home was extremely clean and spacious. They made sure we had room for our personal use in the guest room closet, bureaus, bathroom vanity, pantry, refrigerator, freezer and garage (for our car and bicycles) — very thoughtful and much appreciated.

One would never guess that this was their first pet sitting THS experience — they prepared everything we could possibly need for us to succeed. Usually after several weeks at an assignment we are ready move on to the next one — not so here, we felt so comfortable that we could have stayed another 10 weeks! We would highly recommend sitting for Chris, Hal, Siena and Gigi to anyone and know they will thoroughly enjoy it as much as we did. We would definitely welcome spending more time with Siena and Gigi in the future. We are already missing our new girls — loads!
