This was a mutually beneficial “sit” all around. Peggy and Matt are delightful and generous hosts and they really gifted us with this opportunity. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with them both before and after the exchange and also enjoyed meeting and spending time with their daughter Tina. The dogs, Annie and Gus were so much fun to hang with. They were generous with their love and kisses. They even enjoyed watching the sunsets with us! They were well behaved both on and off leashes and a joy to walk. The cats too were lovely and entertaining. Once Percy realized we were on track to feed him he became very loving and playful. Poppy, being a kitten, was extremely playful and with just a touch would purr louder than you could imagine! All four played very well together. Matt and Peggy’s lovely home on Bowen Island is gorgeous and on a big lot facing the beautiful Paisley Islands with stunning sunset views. Watching various ships and boats go by was mesmerizing. The gardens provided us with delicious vegetables and beautiful flowers to enjoy. The home is surrounded by many delightful forested trails, some right from the house and others a short drive away. We greatly appreciated the loan of Peggy’s car to transport the dogs to the various hikes. Waking up to the westerly view after a comfortable night’s rest was amazing. We would be thrilled and honored to enjoy this family again!
Phil went above and beyond in cleanliness, hospitality, clear communication and his generosity as a host. I needed to stay an extra night before and after and he was gracious and welcoming. The neighbors are wonderful & the neighborhood has some lovely urban parks + food options. The KITTIES.ARE.ADORABLE. They have different personalities and are affectionate and easy to care for. Highly recommend this sit.
It was an absolute pleasure to sit for Boulette and Danielle. Boulette is an mature and very independent gentleman who just requires feeding and cuddles and he will let you know when. Danielle and I had a couple of hours together to show me the house on day one and lunch on day seven when she came back. The house is beautiful with a lovely garden in a wonderful part of France. Given the opportunity I would go back without hesitation.
Anna was very easy to communicate with and gave clear instructions throughout. Her cats are really delightful and gentle and were a joy to take care of. Her home is beautifully laid out and is an easy and relaxing space in a beautiful part of London with stunning views nearby. Thank you Anna for a lovely sit
Loved it !! This was a lovely sit, i really wish it had been for longer. The pets were all lovely natured, they were a pleasure to be around. I spent most of my time with them. All very affectionate, and all love long naps. Juno is energetic, loves attention, strokes and belly rubs, Edward would follow me around apartment then snuggle in, and nap. He’s tiny adorable. Penny-Lane did more of her own thing but she would come to over now and then and hang out and would like a good stroke, scratch and a hug. She curled up on my knee right before i was leaving and honestly i wanted to stay. You might have all 3 of them on your bed snuggling up to you, it was actually lovely to borrow the furry family. The apartment is spotlessly clean, tidy, modern, stylish and organised. It felt like home from home to me. Is literally right by the park so super convenient for walks. Near subway. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks again chip and Ashley!
