Merlin was fantastic to look after, affectionate and playful and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I am still second best to roast chicken though. The owners kept me up to date and were regularly in touch. I would definitely recommend.
Phokey is the fluffiest and best cat you will have the pleasure of looking after. Ambra and Sean are very welcoming, clear instructions and were very accommodating. We enjoyed exploring the area, Ambra left some great recommendations. But our favourite was spending time in Summer in their garden it was beautiful. Phokey is very easy to look after he is Independent and has his own cat flap. He does like his early morning cuddles.
Boffin is a joy. She's very chilled out but also a playful flirt. Following Sunita and David's instructions, Boffin is very low maintenance: no crying when I leave, and happy to see me back, but without a fuss. She's a good listener, responsive, and not pushy. She responds to copious affection (belly scrubs and hugs) and loves to play. The neighborhood is historic and gorgeous, making walks a delight for us both. David and Sunita are also a delight. They're very gracious and respond very quickly to any questions or updates while Boffin is being watched. 5 stars xoxoxS
First time using the app and couldn’t have gotten a better place to stay at. Liz and Andy were so generous in picking us up and dropping us off and such lovely people to have host. And the house and location is absolutely gorgeous at all times of day. A very genuine and humble town.
Kelsey lives in a great part of Charleston. She provides a great guide to the city. Her little pup Savvy is friendly and portable for sightseeing. I loved the recordable buttons around the house for Savvy to communicate her needs for something like “food” or “water.” This was an awesome WFH setup too.
I work from home and had a big project under deadline during this sit, so unfortunately I was not able to fully take advantage Küsnacht's amenities, such as swimming (free in some places, but Celia also has a membership in the local badi) and taking boat tours on the very nearby lake. There is a forest trail close by, and groceries and train stations are an easy walk from Celia's apartment. Leon is a sweet, elderly gentleman who very much enjoys walking to the park to chase his ball. It was quite hot during my time with him and so we limited walks to mornings and evenings, with frequent trips just outside the apartment during the day so he could do his business. Willow is a very beautiful and very independent kitty who will let you know when she does and does not want your attention! She spends a good bit of her day amusing herself in the small but well-furnished back garden. They are both enjoyable company and very easy to care for. Celia's apartment is small but cozy and comfortable, and it stayed surprisingly cool considering how hot it was outside. It would make a great base for Zurich-area adventures.
