Sharon, Ana Louisa, and Cami are AMAZING! We had a fantastic stay at their beautiful place and felt right at home when we arrived. Such a welcoming and warm family! Their home is filled with amazing artwork, flowers, plants, and fruit trees. Sharon even gave us a tour before she left on her trip to show us where everything was. On top of that, she left a detailed welcome guide with all the awesome restaurants, contacts of neighbors, and all the information you need during your stay, including Cami's schedule. Their home is very clean and they even have a regular cleaner. Cami was an amazing dog to sit for (and we miss her oh so much). She is so snuggly, always happy, well behaved, affectionate, and WIGGLY! She was so fun and easy to care for. This girl LOVES an adventure and the sunshine! One piece of advice I recommend for the next sitter is to always bring a few treats on your walks with Cami. Sometimes Cami will follow her own path so it’s always handy to have some treats on you to get her to follow ;) Unfortunately, Alok & I fell sick here during our stay (not from staying at their place, of course) and Sharon was super helpful in making sure we had a speedy recovery. We told Sharon right away and she was super understanding and did everything she could do to help! Honestly, she already had everything we needed for a quick recovery - medicine, air purifiers, tissues, relaxing teas, masks, covid tests, love from Cami ;) ! Her house is well stocked and equipped for emergencies and we recovered so quickly with her help! I even made some chicken soup with the delicious Meyer lemons from her backyard. It was such a joy to cook in her amply equipped kitchen. This was my first time cooking on a Viking stove and it was such a game changer! I need one! :P They also have an amazing deck that Cami loves to hang out and soak up the sun on. There is a beautiful view of the city from there and boy is it extra gorgeous at night time with the city lights! Their living room has a super comfortable long couch that is perfect to watch TV or read a book on. And if you forgot your book, there's a book store right across the street ;) I highly recommend sitting for them and would do it again in a heartbeat. Everyone in the neighborhood is super friendly and it sure is always sunny! Her home is a beautiful place to be, and literally a few steps away from local restaurants, parks, and grocery stores. Whole Foods is also just a few blocks away which is super convenient. The local stores around the neighborhood (i.e. Good Life Grocery) are also wonderful. When I had a busy workday it was so nice to order online from Hazel's kitchen and walk over to pick up a sandwich (literally like a 45 second walk). Highly recommend this sit. My sit at Solenn's place was wonderful. Solenn is such a nice person and talented musician with great taste, which is reflected in her beautiful and cozy flat. I met Solenn before the sit and she explained everything clearly to me. Also during her absence she was available all the time for questions and other stuff coming up. Her cat Bambi is one of the most adorable cats. She is curious and open minded, easy with new people and always into a cuddle. Altough Bambi is blind she manages life easily and enjoys her life outside in the garden without any problems. I would love to sit Bambi and Solenns place again and recommend it highly to any future sitters!
I had a wonderful week at Antony and Alix's place! Their cats, Nelly and Finn, are adorable, very friendly, and fun to spend time with. Their house is beautiful and cozy, and I would gladly sit for them again if I'm ever back in the area!
Winston and Millie were an absolute pleasure to look after. Winston is a character, he does a cute little jump up and into a pat (hilarious) and even forgave us when we didn't allow him to eat Millies dinner as well 🙂. Millie is a gorgeous girl who took a day or two to sus us out from a distance but once comfortable loved a tummy rub and to sit nearby and sleep under the bed. Shonnel was a friendly welcoming host and the penthouse appartment close to town was spotless, comfortable and super easy to keep clean. Shonnel was so kind to allow me to bring my friend Cath on my first interstate trip. We both had a great time caring for Winston and Millie and we wouldn't hesitate if given the opportunity to sit for Shonnel again. Thanks again Shonnel and family we really enjoyed our first trip to Townsville 🙂
Karen and Scott are wonderful, organised and generous hosts. They welcomed us to stay the night before their trip to see Finn's routines and take us out for a lovely meal. Finn is a delight; he's affectionate and fun and extremely easy to care for. Karen and Scott's home is beautiful, modern and immaculate. It's located in a fabulous neighbourhood close to Denver's best shopping and excellent coffee shops and restaurants. We thoroughly recommend this gorgeous housesit!
This is a lovely home with a beautiful yard in a great neighborhood. Sydney is a wonderful hostess. I fell in love with Archie and Huck as soon as I met them. They enjoy lots of attention and gave me lots of affection. I miss this place and these boys already! I would highly recommend this house sit!
