Edith was a most welcoming host. She collected me from railway station which is actually in easy walking distance from beautiful apartment with wonderful views She left excellent notes and Charlie and Nellie were amazing So easy to care for and very quiet Charlie liked being combed and both got their treats by hand and they soon settled with me I was able to explore local area by local train and little buses Shops all in walking distance and if I had any questions Edith helped me The supermarkets are all in walking distance and wonderful bar next door and Edith had left me a wonderful pan of amazing soup bringer me started after also treating to a welcome lunch I was made very welcome and my three weeks nearly passed so quickly. I would love to sit again if I can and would thoroughly recommend this sit
Ozzy and Isis were great to be with. They are playful, energetic, and well-behaved. Their home had everything I needed. I work from home as an online teacher and there was a good working environment and the wifi never failed. The house is situated at the top of a hill, so be prepared if you don't have a car, but the buses are well connected to the rest of the region and there was plenty of places for long walks with amazing views!
We had a great stay at Rebecca’s apartment! Great location and everything was walkable. Meatball, Pesto, and Sleepy are also the sweetest cats! They love to play with you and each other and were such a delight!!
Looking after Gypsy was so much fun. She has a lovely temper and is very easy to look after. She is a little funny with other dogs but we didn’t see too many on our walks so this was not a problem at all. Emma is super friendly and easy going. Great communication and has a lovely home which we felt very safe and comfortable in! Would highly recommend to all sitters ⭐️
This is a lovely home and Cash is very sweet, intelligent and easy to care for. We enjoyed staying at the house and chilling on the deck with Cash even though it was just a short sit. Crystal was communicative and left clear instructions for us. We'd be glad to watch Cash again.

We have used Holiday Burrows regularly and highly recommend them. I would give more stars if I could. I can highly recommend Holiday Burrows - communication was very helpful beforehand (do look at the directions as it's a little hard to find without them!), and it's a lovely set up with a small number of cages in an open shed. Samuel clearly runs it very efficiently - there are boards on each cage with details of the residents, and all the cages were clean with plenty of fresh food, water and bedding. He also obviously cares about the animals - the U-shaped arrangement of cages allows them to see their neighbours, they can be taken out into a run for exercise, and there are ducks waddling about to entertain them. I suspect my guinea pig did not want to come home!
We picked up our rabbit 'Pepper' today, after being at holiday burrows for 6 days. She was so happy and relaxed when she got home. I keep her on a strict diet and Sammuel was very accommodating. He clearly cares about the animals. I am really pleased with the level of care and would highly reccomend him!

I rarely write reviews unless I am 100% happy with the service I received. Kingsmere Pet Care by Julia is one of a few that I would highly rate and recommended for her service. She took care of my cat beyond I can imagine. We booked her visit every other day but she went the extra mile by coming every day to look after my cat whenever she was available for at least 5-10 mins. She keeps me updated with the current situation with my cat plus sends me a photo of my cat every time she visited. Julia is also flexible with time especially when I have to extend my holiday due to an unexpected event. Grateful for that. To my surprise, my cat was even more affectionate and loving now after spending time with Julia. I will be a customer for life! Many thanks to Kingsmere Pet Care and I will use them again.

We didn't had a very good experience unfortunately. When we went to pick our dog up she was dying to the 'bathroom'. Her bed was not inside of her cage. She looked like she was never let out of the cage during the period that we left her. We didn't felt that she was taken care properly. We hope that this might have been a one off and that the dogs left in their care are safe and well treated.
Great customer service from Freddie and amazing care is taken of the dogs. This is a true holiday home for real dogs who love the fresh air and countryside and who enjoy socialising with other dogs. They have tonnes of fun and will find being at home very boring in comparison! The dog training by those at Gamegoer is also exceptional - incredibly experienced dog handlers who can work wonders (with humans and dogs!!)
If you like your dog to be a solitary prince/princess in a sterile environment, this isn't for you. If you want your dog to be happy, socializing with friends and enjoying a dog's life in the countryside, while being looked after by a highly experienced and warm-hearted team, this is just great. We tried a few kennels and our dog expressed the most enthusiasm for this one.
I take my little Rosie dog to see lizzy the dog groomer ..i have done for years now and shes great lizzy and my Rosie dog really loves trust her.. haven't been to anybody else . Really recommended

Well the guinea pig came home alive so will definitely use again. Joke a side, I rang on the Saturday and managed to get booked in for the Monday for 8 days. they were very welcoming, the radio was on for all the small animals they were looking after and very clean.
Always worry about places like this, but this is like the perfect little place for your small babies. We left 3 rats here, they were safe, happy and I think they got treated better than they would at home!
Oxford Small Pet Boarding did a fantastic job looking after my daughters Conure while we had 2 weeks holiday in the summer. Their communication is excellent, they answered all our questions, let us visit in advance and nothing was to much trouble. They are easy to get to, once you find them, and the animals are kept in a clean and secure unit. Conrad was very happy there and his cage was spotless when we collected him, in fact he sulked at being back he was so well looked after! Their prices are very reasonable too. I highly recommend them, and hope they won't be too full in future to have our bird back!!
Oxford Small Pet Boarding is a brilliant board, Megan and her husband are lovely and welcoming. Completely put us at ease when we dropped our bunny off. Lovingly looked after and given time to run around, our bunny was very happy staying here and she's come back happier than ever and probably missing the grass under her paws! I'll definitely be using Oxford Small Pet Boarding again especially as it's such great value for money. You can see they have a passion for making sure your pet has the best time. Home away from home!
Absolutely delighted with the care my 2 guinea pigs enjoyed on the several occasions we have left them here. Lovely clean cages and all care personalised. Megan loves her little furry guests and treats them as if they are her own. Can't recommend highly enough.
We have left our two guinea pigs here a couple of times and are really happy with the care they have received. Megan was happy for me to come and check the place out beforehand and was very knowledgeable answering all my questions (as guinea pigs are fragile). We now refer to it as the guinea pig spa!
I am so pleased to have found Oxford Small Pet Boarding. My four ducks recently enjoyed a week being looked after by Megan. They had a super run and duck house and Megan looked after them all with such care and attention. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent communication with customers. Highly recommend.

I've used this service twice and been thoroughly impressed both times. For two male guinea pigs, the cage size was great, and they came home looking well fed and happy. Drop-off and pick-up also couldn't have been any easier and the option to leave behind transport cages/boxes behind is a bonus.
Meg took wonderful care of my daughters' two pet rabbits. It was lovely to relax on holiday knowing that they were in safe hands and also that she ensured that they had outdoor time running around and not cooped up in a cage.
Nik has looked after our young sprocker for two week-long stays. We are so glad we found Nik. She takes the dogs on fantastic and varied walks, shares lots of gorgeous photos via her Instagram, and was very understanding of our dog's more teenaged moments. It gave us such peace of mind to know our boy was staying in a home from home, playing with lots of new friends, and having lots of human contact. We would never choose a kennel over this. We highly recommend!
Too many dog w few workers around. We sent our dog for a day boarding. It has a capacity of 50 for overnight and 40 day boarders. There were about 50ish dogs there that day. At the morning drop off, there were two ladies working. When we came for the pickup about 1700, only one lady there. It was really noisy w many dogs barking. My dog probably thought he’s visiting a dog psychiatry for that day, really skittish afterward.
Our little dog waits by the car to go to Niks in the morning, his favourite day of the week. He sleeps for Britain at home the following day- really useful to get office work done. Nik takes them on stellar long walks in all weathers and has an obvious soft spot for the dogs and their ways. Dog has boarded more than once to cover family matters arising. Nik is fantastic!
Took my dog at very short notice and after three day stay I’ve never seen him sleep so soundly. Nik has a lovely set up so I’m sure your dog will have no complaints and would rate the stay 5 stars themselves
Nik truly does care for every dog that she is looking after and takes them on lovely walks. She also gives regular updates on how your pup is getting on. 100% recommend
I had an excellent overnight experience at Blu Collar Boarding with my two dogs (plus Blu the Dalmatian is a lovely companion!). Brilliant value, plus Nik took pictures on the dogs playing on their walks which was a lovely touch - a home from home for doggies!

We had such a wonderful experience with Yvonne. She looked after our cockapoo Woody so brilliantly and took him on some amazing walks. What was most reassuring for us was that he was so excited to see Yvonne and the other dogs every time we dropped him off (or Yvonne kindly picked him up) and he was always suitably tired (but happy) when he came home again. Yvonne offers a very professional but friendly service and she went above and beyond to accommodate our schedules. We will definitely be using her services again in the future and would highly recommend her business to anyone else in the area.
When I found Yvonne a couple of years ago all my dog-care worries vanished! I was only prepared to leave Peanut with the best, and Yvonne and her family are just that. Yvonne is kind, always ready to help, professional, and flexible, and the dogs quickly become part of this wonderful human and doggy family. Her service is worth every penny. Peanut was clearly loved, and as an older dog Yvonne identified and catered for her needs whether she was there for a day or overnight. Now we have Mimi the puppy, who adores Yvonne and her family, loves running around the beautiful, big, safe garden, and playing with the doggy friends she has made. We were so lucky to happen upon Happy Tails when we moved to Oxford two years ago. Yvonne has been walking and minding Coco regularly since then. She is flexible, reliable and a genuine dog lover. Coco is always excited to see her and her family along with her many doggy pals. I highly recommend Yvonne and the excellent service she provides.

We were so lucky to find Yvonne - she is reliable, communicative, extremely flexible and most importantly so clearly loves our dog. He eagerly waits by the door the days she takes him out, and the photos she sends us every time prove he’s loving every minute. My one warning is if you are thinking of using Yvonne you must be emotionally strong enough to deal with the fact your dog may love her a tiny bit more than he loves you!!

I can not recommend Happy Tails highly enough. Yvonne is extremely professional dog-manager and my Fox-terrier Paddy absolutely adored both day-care & longer term boarding with she & her family. The location of Happy Tails, on the outer Oxford border, is also idyllic for dogs. There is plenty of free space to run around & Yvonne takes the dogs on long walks & sends back photos showing the activities & adventures. I will be forever grateful for the love & care Happy Tails has given us.
Yvonne is amazing with all dogs. She was always very responsive and Poppy loved going there. She always came home exhausted which is always a good reference to how much she enjoyed herself. I always knew she was likely having a better time at Yvonnes than I was doing whatever I needed to do. Five star review! Thanks Yvonne.
Our dalmatian Dolly always has a wonderful time with Yvonne, who is an extremely caring and reliable dog sitter. Dolly can be anxious away from her family, but she always settles very quickly with Yvonne and absolutely loves her big garden and the wonderful long walks. Thoroughly recommended.
We couldn’t ask for a better dog Walker than Yvonne: she communicates brilliantly with us to set up the walks for the week and sends us amazing pictures so we get to see just how much fun our dog Boris has had. No matter the weather Yvonne can be relied on to give your dogs a good walk. Her help whilst we have been working from home and stuck on the phone all day has been a godsend. Couldn’t recommend her more highly.
Caroline and Ant are the only cat sitters we will use, they are simply the best. They look after our four cats, each with individual needs, (and our home) as we would. We appreciate the regular updates and them taking time to get to know each cat, giving them love & fuss. We trust them totally which makes our regular trips away one bit less stressful!
Caroline and Ant looked after our rabbit many times while we were away and we were so pleased with the exceptional standard of service and care they provided. We were very worried about leaving him as he is a rescue rabbit who we love him to pieces, and he is a creature of habit. I gave them a lot of information and they did a fantastic job! They were so attentive to him and when we got home the room was clean and tidy. We are really happy with choosing Caroline and Ant to look after him!
Absolutely delighted with Caroline and Ant’s services! They recently looked after our very elderly cat whilst we were on holiday and we were so pleased with everything they did. Prior to our holiday Ant visited us and really took time to understand our requirements. When we were away they sent messages and photos to keep us updated, which we really appreciated. Caroline and Ant were extremely responsive before, during and after the period they provided their services to us while we were away. They took wonderful care of Tilly and carried out a thorough visit to our home before we went away to take all the necessary details and meet Tilly. She seemed much more relaxed in the photos we were sent than when we’ve had her in a cattery so we are really pleased.

Our rabbit stayed at Creature Comforts for a full month this summer, she was well look after and very happy there. Caroline make us feel confident that she will have look after her very well, and my kids should not be worry about her during our holiday. We will definitely use again for our rabbit.
We have been very lucky to have been using Creature Comforts for about 5 years now for our 2 rabbits. They absolutely love going to stay and it is often tricky to catch them when it is time to go home! The set up is amazing, in a beautiful garden with hutch/run combos set up so the rabbits can all see each other. Caroline is lovely and extremely accommodating. She clearly cares about each and every animal she is looking after. I could not recommend this enough, I have complete peace of mind when we are away as I know how well looked after and happy the rabbits are.
Caroline at Creature Comforts is probably one of the most loveliest people I have ever met and the love and care she provides to the boarding pets is simply outstanding. I was nervous about leaving my rabbits for the first time back in May, however Caroline soon put my mind at ease and, as promised, kept me updated throughout my holiday on how they were doing. I also left them in July and I just know they were so excited to be back for their little holiday at creature comforts! I have unfortunately had to re-home my rabbits, however I have told their new owner she MUST use creature comforts boarding if she ever goes away! THANK YOU Caroline for taking great care of my rabbits, I know they would love to see you again soon.
Caroline is absolutely crazy about animals (in a lovely way). She's taken good care of our little hamsters, always handling them daily and giving them treats. I can't imagine a better person to entrust with our pets. Totally recommended!
Our guinea pigs have been regular visitors for 5 years now and have been very well looked after every time. The many large hutches and runs in her garden appear clean and well maintained (and usually filled by regular customers) and Caroline clearly cares about the welfare of all the animals. We will continue using as long as we can.
We were so happy to find Creature Comforts to look after our two rabbits. The main thing for us was that our bunnies would have enough space, so seeing that the owners supported the Rabbit Welfare Association was important to us. The rabbits had a lovely hutch and attached run in a beautiful garden, with plenty of fresh grass, hay and greens to nibble on. The owner obviously gave our rabbits lots of attention and care while we were away. We wouldn't hesitate to use Creature Comforts again. Many thanks!
We have left our 3 bunnies in the caring and capable hands of Caroline at Creature Comforts several times in the past couple of years. (Side note: perhaps my effusive alliteration is a sign of how happy I am we found her!) Caroline feels like an old friend even on the first meeting and it is immediately clear how much she loves animals and is keen to get to know their individual personalities so she can best cater to their needs. She is happy to send WhatsApp updates and pictures on request to keep your mind at rest that your fur babies are doing ok and she is very responsive and flexible when arranging drop-off and pick-up. Our bunnies always come back revitalised after having a lovely holiday of their own! Plus the hutches are such good quality we've decided to modify our own so they are more like hers (e.g: using soft plastic coating so the hutches can stand on grass but are still digsafe). We wouldn't leave our bunnies with anyone else. I fully recommend her services to anyone! :)
Caroline is excellent and I am so thrilled to have found her. The grass runs are attached to the hutches so the bunnies can go where they please when they want to. Whenever I have been all the hutches and runs that I see are immaculate and all the rabbits are obviously very well cared for and loved. A 5* bunny hotel.
We discovered Creature Comforts small animal boarding approximately a year ago to this month and it was a huge relief for us. We have 3 rabbits who are basically like our children and we love them to bits. We had tried and tested 3 or 4 various small animal boarding places around Oxfordshire over the past 3 years but each time we left our rabbits behind our minds would fill with doubt and worry. Space was our biggest concern. Some places simply didn't have the space to have runs attached to the hutches at all, some didn't have the 6ft x 6ft hutches that the RWAF recommend as standard practice, and some just had hutches stacked on top of hutches and the rabbits had to wait to be lifted down to a run to exercise and stretch their legs. Location was also a key factor for us because we never felt comfortable leaving the bunnies in the back garden of a big housing estate or near to a main road. Our oldest female bun suffered an injury at one boarding place and as soon as we had returned from holiday we had to take her to the vets for treatment. We felt terrible for her and frustrated not to have been notified. We faced a dilemma but as luck would have it we eventually stumbled upon Creature Comforts' beautiful website and saw that it was approved by the RWAF. In excitement we contacted Caroline straight away and within days we were able to visit and see the place for ourselves. Creature Comforts is set in beautiful surroundings and provides a wonderful safe sanctuary for rabbits and small animals who are provided with ample space to run, jump and binky as they should and be cared for by someone who understands their dietary and physical needs.
Caroline is the most kind and caring person you could ask to care for your pet. For the last three years Caroline has provided excellent care for our pet dog Rooi; she walks him in the week for us and has provided numerous pet sitting visits. Caroline is reliable, trustworthy and has excellent knowledge about caring for pets. She goes above and beyond and treats Rooi as part of her own family. We know he’s in safe hands and don’t know what we would do without her. Thank you Caroline.
Have used Jackie for 4 years now, both for dog walking three days a week, and for boarding. She has never let us down and Luna loves her to bits. A long time she also looked after our rabbits and they came back better behaved than when we dropped them off!!
Jackie has looked after our two cats whenever we have been away during the last two years. Both are elderly cats requiring daily medication, and Jackie has never let them down. She has made herself available even at very short notice and I can honestly say I don't know what we'd do without her. Highly recommended.
I cannot say enough good things about Holiday Ark. Jackie regularly walks our dog and is reliable, flexible, and very responsive to questions or last minute bookings. We have boarded him with her over the weekend and were able to go on holiday knowing he was in very capable hands. We returned to find him happy and relaxed. Jackie has looked after our Labrador Mac since he was a puppy 3 years ago. In the initial stages Jackie provided us with sound advice on how to train Mac with his walking and with general house behaviour. She regularly walks Mac and he is more than happy to stay at hers every so often when we go on holiday. With Jackie's flexibility and experience, we don't know who else we could turn to that is so reliable and trustworthy with our Mac. We would not hesitate to recommend Holiday Ark to anyone. Jackie has looked after our rabbit Mary Lou on a number of occasions now and we really couldn't imagine anyone looking after her as well as Jackie has. Mary Lou always comes back to us in great condition, happy and healthy. Jackie is incredibly personable and clearly loves the animals in her care as much as their owners. Furthermore, Jackie has gone above and beyond for us and really got us out of a tight spot. After Christmas, I had booked a taxi to take me to collect Mary Lou but the estate was not big enough for her cage. Jackie instead delivered the cage back to us, following in her van. Really above and beyond. In my experience, Jackie gives exemplary service and I couldn't imagine leaving our pet with anyone else.
I couldn't recommend Jackie highly enough. She has walked our dog Molly for about 3-4 years and has always, from day 1, taken great care of her. Molly seems to know when Jackie is coming and always waits expectantly, going off with her without a look back! Jackie has been extremely flexible and always managed to help out even at the 11th hour. There needs to be a Holiday Ark in every county!
Jackie looks after our dog when we have days away as a family or family holidays. Having Jackie look.after our dog makes these times for us completely stress and worry free. Holiday Ark provides a fantastic service, Jackie is very professional, thorough and reliable, and genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. I have absolutely no reservations about leaving our cat in her capable hands. The client-consultations she undertakes a week or so before the visits commence offer both sides an opportunity to ensure absolute everything is covered and agreed in advance, although she has always been very accommodating even when we've needed to add extras in, change dates etc after the consultation. It is such a relief for us to know our boy is being properly cared for by a warm and friendly human when we're away on a well-earned holiday - we don't need to stress about him at all!
Jackie is a brilliant walker. She has looked after our dog since a little pup and is always reliable and friendly. Our dog loves his walks with her!
I have been using the services of Holiday Ark since it's inception 5 years ago. Our family had just got a very lively Viszla puppy, Ruby, and we needed somebody to help with walks, AND to continue the training needed for such a strong minded breed. Jackie and the team did that without question, and helped us get through that first year of dog ownership. We regularly send our dog to the Ark for day care and sleep overs, which she loves. Ruby loves being in the company of Max and the other regular dogs visiting the Ark, and it is great to see her interact with her doggie friends when out walking. All in all I find Jackie's service to be flexible, efficient and very good value.
This is a wonderful company run by a wonderful person. I can’t thank Alex enough for the flexibility she has given us with our dog Pep. Pep always stampedes her way into the house of the carer, Sue. Alex always goes above and beyond to make sure everything goes well. There’s loads of reviews on their website but I thought I should put one here. They’re a great outfit.
Can't recommend Estelle highly enough. She's looked after my 3 cats for a few years and they adore her. She always goes above and beyond. Latest escapade was one going missing and she helped with the search effort while I was away including trawling social media. She found him in a different village (he'd got in a car...) and was off to scan his microchip and rescue him. Get photos and messages to update what antics they've been up to while I'm away. Absolute find this lady.

I used many top rated Vet and service providers all over the world , It gave me great comfort that Estelle was here for our baby at late stage of her life and with her in her last mile of the journey. We booked Estelle for a pet courier service during a time our family needed to quarantine. We could not have hoped for a better service. Estelle is a life-saver in terms of pet sitting. Simple as that. Our kittens love her! We have entrusted them in her care both when they were tiny and a bit older, on both occassions for a week or longer. We came back to happy, healthy kittens, and even got some kitten photos for us when we were away. She is very professional and just a lovey person you can easily let into your house and entrust your pets with. We cannot recommend Estelle's pet care enough!
Estelle is truly exceptional. She has cared for our cat on many occasions for as long as two to three weeks and every time we return to find a very happy cat. She takes incredible care of our cat and has also left our home neat and tidy. I would recommend her without reservation to anyone in need of a cat sitter!
I can't recommend Animals at Home, Oxford highly enough. I am extremely happy with the level of care my cats received while I was away; they were not just fed and watered, but Estelle also spent time playing with them and giving them attention. She also messaged me everyday with an update about them which really reassured me that they were doing well, meaning I could enjoy my holiday more. I have been using animals at Home in Oxford for some time and Estelle provides a fantastic level of customer service. Her professional, friendly and warm approach combined with her love of animals provides a great support when leaving Molly our Tibetan Terrier. I would highly recommend her services.
Estelle recently looked after my “squad” of 4 cats, of which 3 are just 8 months old. So, potential for cat chaos .... She dealt calmly with my paranoia (first time leaving them!), and sent photos and updates. I returned to 4 happy cats, relaxed and well fed. Great, attentive, warm and genuine service from someone who clearly loves animals and has empathy for their ‘owners’.
Absolutely impossible to get hold of over the phone. Didn't reply even when I filled in a form on her website explaining that my dog needed transporting from Oxford to Witney for weekly hydrotherapy as she has degenerative myelopathy. Finally got a text from her after texting her saying she'd get back to me, but she never did. Disgraceful.
Estelle is friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and my cat Charlie adores her! I never have to worry about leaving him in her care. I would highly recommend Estelle's services.
