Beth and Matthew have been my first house sitters - and I was their first house sit too. Beth and Matthew have been great. I was a little nervous as this was the first time I've the zeewoi platform and service. Beth contacted me to let me know that one of my dogs had a sore on her chest and sent me a video to let me see and decide what to do. We agreed my dog needed to be seen by a vet and within a few hours my dog had antibiotics. Beth even popped into a shop to buy my dog a jumper to wear as the vet had recommended this to stop her scratching the sore. When I got home Beth had washed all their bedding and the house was clean and tidy. Both Beth and Matthew are a lovely couple and I would definitely recommend them both if you are looking for reliable and trustworthy house and pet sitters.
Erica was great! Easy to communicate with and very self -sufficient when we ended up being out of service for several days. Pingo and the house were clearly in good hands, we came back to a spotless house with a freshly made bed and a happy dog. We'd definitely have Erica again!
I am so grateful to Victoria for taking such wonderful care of my elder cats,, Zoe and Mischief, my home and my garden! She stayed in touch, and even sent photos of Zoe and Mischief, which further reassured me that my kitties and my home were in good hands while I was away. This was my first time using zeewoi. Not only did I have to prepare my home for a guest but prepare myself for leaving my boys with someone I had only met through a zoom call. Right away, I was put at ease as Sharon just gravitated right to my boys. She asked questions about info that I had missed in my welcome pack that made me rest assured that she was on the ball. Throughout my trip, Sharon kept in touch with me about how the boys were getting along... I was so relieved hearing that their usual playful selves was apparent. Given that our flight home was going to be late, she insisted on waiting until we were heading out of the airport before leaving the boys with their last walk until we came home. When we walked through our front door, the boys were chilling out, our home was spotless, and she even washed the bedding. I can recommend Sharon with 100% certainty that your pets will be in great hands. Thanks Sharon for everything.
Jaclyn was a wonderful sitter for our dog Tucker! She was always quick to respond to communications, she was easy-going and excited to sit with Tucker, she shared updates (with pictures) while we were away, and she left our house cleaner than when we left - she even ran the dishwasher, which we forgot to do before we left! She and Tucker bonded immediately, and when we returned home it was clear that he had a great time with Jaclyn. We can't recommend her highly enough!
I can’t say enough good things about Felicia! She was willing to come over ahead of time so we could meet her. Lele took an instant liking to her (and I think it was mutual).😁 Felicia showed up on time, checked in on a regular basis while I was away, and sent photos of Lele, too. I tend to over prepare, and Felicia was accepting of that and helped me feel okay about my preparation and absence. I felt very comfortable leaving, knowing the most important thing, Lele, was well taken care of. This is my first time using zeewoi, so I didn’t really know what to expect. Felicia far exceeded all of my hopes and expectations. I would absolutely love to have Felicia come back again!
I am so glad that my cat, Duque, and I met Sharon! She is a wonderful person, very kind with pets, thorough with house care and communicative. Sharon's cleaning (and brownies!) went above and beyond and my cat did not seem to have missed me much when I got home. I recommend Sharon if she applies for your sit and we hope to welcome her back to our home one day.
Julie and Adrian were ideal pet and house sitters. Julie and Damian are very friendly and made sure to go over details and ask questions when they arrived. We came home to very happy and contented pets. Our dog and cat clearly got lots of love and attention (also clear from the great photos that Julie and Adrian sent us). The house was immaculate when we came home. We could not ask for better, more trusted, house sitters.
Although they are experienced pet sitters this was their first sit with zeewoi and they were wonderful. Jyoti (our cat) was completely at ease and spent plenty of time on their laps. The chickens were well looked after and they managed the broody one efficiently. Excellent communication before and during the house sit. They followed our detailed instructions conscientiously and left the house clean and tidy. They cooked a meal for us on our return and we enjoyed getting to know them. We would welcome them back any time and highly recommend them for future sits.
Lea was so wonderful, we highly recommend her. She was friendly and communicative throughout, sending us daily updates and photos. We returned back to a beautifully cleaned house and a very happy cat, we are so grateful- she was an absolute delight

Vicky has looked after our dogs many times over the years including a week whilst we have been on holiday. The dogs are always really well looked after and get plenty of walks. They are part of the family, a home from home, and love staying. Vicky is always really helpful and responds to messages quickly. Love getting the updates and photos of how they are getting on! Vicky has been walking our Labrador once a week for quite some time and often has her overnight when we can't take her away with us. Vicky is wonderful - totally reliable and immensely patient. She gets to know our dogs really well and understands their behaviours. She gives them great walks and if boarding or day care, the dogs are treated as part of the family. ‘My boy’ adores her and goes off very excited every time she collects him and when he comes home, he has so much to say and is a very happy chap! I trust her implicitly with my very precious four - legged friend and know that he is always totally safe with her and having fun.

I have just called to see if there was a space for my 14month old dog for August to board. Before I even had chance to say breed I was informed she won't take rescue dogs. I thought people were bieng moved to rescue and not buy. Very disappointed
Tom and the gang and Joey's are amazing. Our rescue pupster Bilbo always has a great time and as soon as you say "Tom's coming" on a day care morning, he is visibly excited. The work Tom has done with Bilbo to help his social skills and confidence with other dogs has paid dividends and we can't say thank you enough! We're kept up to date with photos and they clearly care about each and every dog in their care. Would definitely recommend to anyone whose dog enjoys the company of other dogs and likes to play, learn and have new experiences in a caring environment.
I would thoroughly recommend anyone thinking about getting in touch with Tom and Sara about sending their dog to Joey's to give them a call. Getting weekly photos is a highlight of mine and my partner's week -- it's so special seeing Emmy with her friends and having a blast! Emmy had to be interviewed to see how she got along with other dogs, which gave us confidence that all of the other dogs at Joey's would be friendly and well socialised. Tom and Sara suggested a day for us that they knew matched Emmy's energy, so she became part of the Thursday group! You can tell that they really love and care for our Emmy as one of their own. It gives me the peace of mind that she will have a great time with all of her friends every week. The only downside is that Emmy is more excited to see Tom and Sara than to see me!
Waffles and her humans absolutely LOVE Joey’s. Tom and Sara are so kind and thoughtful and provide exceptional care to our Wooo Hooing Wonderhound. There is nothing quite like seeing photos of your pup excited, free and loving life whilst you are at work. We have such complicated, busy lives and having Joey’s means that there is no stress at all with regards to Waffles. She is loved like one of their own! 🐾🐾💖💖🐾🐾
My little pooch, Rudy, has been going to Joey’s for over a year now and if I could give more than 5 stars for the review I absolutely would! Rudy goes 3 times a week and they’re definitely his favourite days of the week. Tom and Sara are Rudy’s favourite people I swear and they’ve been amazing at helping with Rudy’s anxieties and his behaviours so much better since coming to their doggy daycare. Tom and Sara are full of knowledge and experienced with dogs of different character and behaviours. They are always happy to answer/resolve any queries or concerns I have. They are professional as well as understanding and accommodating and have both taken the time to get to know Hattie all throughout the assessment and probation periods also ensuring that Hattie would fit into the doggie group. All owners can be rest assured that their doggies would be spending time with other friendly and well behaved dogs. They have been extremely informative with the process to ensure both owners and doggies are satisfied. It is so clear that all doggies are extremely happy, comfortable and well cared for right from pick ups to drop offs- YES! They provide an excellent pick up and drop off service in their well equipped beautiful van! Owners are kept informed of how their pups have been with amazing photos and new starter reports- this is exactly what we needed as Hattie could be quite anxious at times especially with travelling. Hattie has since made such cute and amazing friends who have also taught her good behaviours and manners. Hattie is a high energy, excited dog who struggles to contain her excitement. She has always come home content, happy and tired from zooming around with her friends. Hattie has also learned to behave much calmer in public now when meeting other doggies and people. It is like having day care and dog training all in one package! Joey’s have all kinds of enrichment activity including a paddling pool, ball pit, sandpit, digging area, doggie safe garden sniffing area and more- let’s not forget the amazing room for napping which has air-con in the summer with tv screen and calming music! This luxury 5* treatment for doggies is definitely not easy to find! We are so very pleased to have found Joey’s for Hattie and looking forward to seeing and hearing more about Hattie’s future stays with you. 😊
Our dog absolutely loves going to Joeys doggy day care. He waits so excitedly at the door in the morning as he knows he’s being picked up for his favourite day, full of fun and seeing his pals. He always comes home tired and sleeps very well after his day at Joeys! (And no matter how muddy his paws may have got he always come home clean!) Tom and Sara are extremely dedicated to providing a safe and happy environment for the dogs with lots of activities and stimulation. It’s an absolute joy to look through the photos at the end of the day - you can see all the dogs are having the time of their lives. The initial assessment was very thorough and informative, I loved the structure and set up for the day of activities, including cosy dens for nap time. I knew straight away this was perfect for our dog. The best part is having the pick up and drop of service which is fantastic as it makes it so easy for us. Tom and Sara are always on hand to answer any queries or worries that we have. I have total trust with them, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else now - This is the best doggy day care and really is one of a kind. 🐾
Went for the opening day and had a great time and the dogs absolutely loved it! They have lots of fun outdoor areas like the ball park, swimming pool, trampolines and also some lovely inside areas which were nice and cool so lovely to go in when it's hot outside.
Joey’s Doggie Daycare is amazing! There is nothing else like it around! The staff are incredibly caring and dedicated, looking after all the dogs as if they were their own. The facilities are incredible- from air conditioned rooms to a huge ball pool, the dogs love it! Thank you Joey’s!

Our Bichon Frise is 8 years old and has stayed in kennels for a number of years, however he has never come back as relaxed, happy and lively as he did from his recent stay at Hillcrest. A big thank you to you all. We will definitely be using you again.
Hillcrest was absolutely fantastic with our cat have never left her before so whilst on holiday we emailed a couple of times to see how she was and they sent photos .she looked really happy and content.they were so friendly there and it was very comforting to know she would be looked after with plenty of love. We have now used Hillcrest on several occasions for a two rather boisterous Dobermans. They have been excellent in all respects. Sarah and the team have no issues looking after and controlling them and the dogs are always happy to go there and always happy to come home. We couldn't ask for more. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
We have been using Hillcrest kennels for a year now. Our 3 dogs absolutely love coming to stay and its reassuring when the dogs pull you up the path, wagging their tails enthusiastically, to say hello to the ladies. Really impressed with this place! This was the first time we had left Our little Dachshund Zeppelin with a kennel and we were a little nervous. He came to stay in July and he came back a very happy little dog. We got a really great first impression when we visited, staff very friendly and the doggies all looked happy and well looked after. Delighted with the wonderful care given to our two lively pups. Very impressed that a lot of consideration was given to which sleeping area would be best for them. The staff clearly really care and we were so grateful to receive advice on a better way to walk our boys who have a tendency to pull. A figure of eight lead was suggested and it works! I have collected my Springer Spaniel this morning following a fortnight’s stay. It is a delight to see her so obviously happy, relaxed and in her usual good spirits. Everyone I have met at Hillcrest has impressed me with their warmth and utter professionalism. The kennels offer a high quality environment and have clearly ensured Sophie’s stay has been the best experience. Our dog Nala, a collie/German shepherd cross has stayed at Hillcrest many times over the last 4 years. I cannot praise or thank them enough for their care and attention. Nala is happy there and I can relax knowing she is safe and well looked after. I would not hesitate to recommend Sarah/ the team at Hillcrest.
Paula is absolutely lovely, and obviously not only loves what she does, but adores cats! Both of my cats are guest phobic, and get quite worked up if we take them away from home. Since using Home and Away, they come back amazingly calm, and no longer run and hide the second you open their carrier. I never worry about their safety or well-being here!

Foggy has just returned from his wonderful Dorset holiday with Julie. He has had two lovely long walks every day and lots of attention - he returned fit and happy and we were able to relax on our holiday knowing that he was being well looked after all the time we were away. Foggy had a lovely space for his bed and we saw some super photos of him looking completely at home. Julie also sent us photos of Foggy out walking in the countryside with his new companions. Marlowe has been having holidays with Julie at Mucky Boots for the past two years. He loves his time with her as it involves long, interesting walks in the countryside or even sometimes at the beach. He also enjoys the company of Barney, Julie's dog and other friendly visitors. The frequent updates with photos of him having fun or just relaxing, reassure us that we're not the only ones on holiday! Julie's love and affection for her doggy visitors shines through. Charlie stayed with Julie at Mucky Boots for a week. She had such a lovely time - a real holiday for her and the first time ever that I have been able to relax being away, knowing she was being so well looked after. The daily updates made me think she wouldn't want to come home! So nice for her to have company on walks with other lovely dogs. I would definitely recommend Mucky Boots for anyone looking for professional dog care in beautiful surroundings with someone who so obviously loves dogs.
Our lab retriever Oscar is always looked after superbly by Julie and her husband. They have a lovely comfortable environment for their doggie guests and Oscar comes back from his holiday fit, happy, content and exhausted. Julie cares deeply about every dog and her attention to their needs is wonderful. She also sends photos every couple of days showing your dog enjoying lovely Dorset walkies with furry friends. Such a lovely lady my dog loves it. Julie takes care to introduce dogs slowly and safely, they go on walks, play in the garden and have a happy time. Great she is local authority registered and insured too.
Bertie loves this place - I only have to say that Bertie is going on holiday to see Julie & Barney and he's at the car door without a backward look! He sends photos every other day on his walks with his doggie friends and comes home happy and exhausted. He would recommend Julie to everybody.

It was my dog, Sadie, first stay at Snipegate. We received a very warm welcome. She ate more there than at home so she must have been very happy!! Will definitely take her there again. Well done everyone at Snipegate.
I left my dog for a weekend for a trial and was asked to fill out a form disclosing all the information and medication from my dog medical card. I asked the staff member, why Is this required? She informed me so I don’t have to bring his medical card. On my dog 2nd stay, which was a week. I dropped him off and then was asked for his medical card. I explained what happened previously and was advised that the medical cards have to be kept on site. So I had to drive all the way back to Portland to get his card and back to the kennels. I explained to the staff member that my return flight is in the morning and I’ll be picking my dog up around midday to 1pm. After my holiday, I arrived at the kennels to pick my dog up. There was no members of staff there and therefore I rang the doorbell. A member of staff arrived to inform me that the kennels are closed which I found very strange as this was during the day. Explained that I am picking my dog up and that my flight was in the morning and this was explained when I dropped him off. She reiterated that the kennels were closed. Again, I had to explain that all I want to do is to pick my dog up as arranged. This member of staff then responded, “ Well, I have to just go and get him then” This was very unprofessional and rude. I couldn’t believe that I was spoken to like that. My dog was returned and couldn’t wait to get out of there. He looked in a right state and smelt horribly. I was shocked to see him like this. I paid £270 and left. Once I got home, I checked him and fur was matted. Therefore I had to bathe him and also brush him. He was much happier. However his voice was broken as it was obviously he had been barking a lot and was exhausted. He slept long hours for the next 3 days. Usually he is full of energy. I also noticed I had not been returned all of his stuff as his rucksack is missing. I have tried calling on several occasions and got not joy and given up. Overall I am massively disappointed, sad and feel guilty that I had to put my dog there. It shouldn’t be a feeling that I was expecting. I was advised to go there by other people. However after that experience I won’t be taking my dog there ever again. And to top it off the way I was spoken to was incredibly unprofessional.
Would recommend this kennel to anyone with a dog! First impressions were great with very friendly and personable customer service! My dog is a bit nervous so I was a bit worried taking him to a new place but it sounds like he settled in really well, really trusted all the staff as they were sensitive to his needs and he was beaming from ear to ear when I picked him up! He looked very well looked after so I have every confidence in them that they would look after my dog very well again in the future! I saw dogs being walked and having play time when I picked mine up and they all looked happy too! ✨✨✨✨✨
I used snipegate as an alternative as I couldn't get bruce into his usual kennels. The staff knew who we were the minute we walked through the door. Bruce is dog reactive and they accommodated his needs really well and made lots of fuss of him. The staff were super friendly and helpful, he came home shattered from his stay at snipegate! I really can't fault the service they provide and I really don't understand why some of the negative feedback that's been left, especially when the terms and conditions are made quite clear on the website! I'll be using snipegate again for future stays for Bruce. Keep up the good work team!
I highly recommend Snipegate. They are a fantastic team and absolutely give my girl everything she needs when there. My girl was very nervous in the beginning and would bark constantly at everyone and every thing! They took their time to win her trust and make her feel safe and loved and now she absolutely loves going there and gets so excited when we pull into the gates! I trust them completely and my girl always comes home in perfect condition. She enjoys her walks and all the love she receives there. Amazing place, amazing people!

Disappointing. Obviously she had been fed and kept safe, nice kennels with friendly staff. Unfortunately when we got her home after 8 nights in Snipegate, she was absolutely covered in grass seeds and burrs, to the point we couldn’t get them all out and she was clearly so uncomfortable and itchy that we had to cut them all out 😞 Clearly she’s been regularly walked over fields, which is good but I just hope she wasn’t left like that all week with big matts around her face and feet. Shame because the kennel came highly recommended by several friends and wasn’t cheap at just under £200! Hopefully this was a one off.
Why did we worry about putting our new rescue into kennels. We came back to a very happy relaxed dog. He smells amazing too. I have no problem booking him in again. This time I won't worry. Thank you for looking after him.
Our dog has stayed at Snipegate since a puppy and she loves it! Always comes home clean and is looked after so well. Russell is so caring and professional about all the dogs in the kennels. It is the best kennels we have ever found and we would not go anywhere else.

Paula did a fantastic job looking after our three cats over the Christmas period. She came to visit beforehand and the cats took to her immediately. She sent photos and updates on the feeding and wellbeing. On our return to the house, the cats were calm and happy and the house looked so clean and tidy. In addition to looking after our precious fur babies, they also took in the bin after collection and the post, they also offered to water the house plants. I highly recommend The Cat Butler, Dorchester as a fantastic way of having your cats looked after in their own home. It's also peace of mind that someone went into the house each day. A great service that we will definitely be using again! It was lovely that Maisy could relax in the comfort of her own home and we had the peace of mind that she was being well looked after.
