Cat Sitters in Charmouth

Taila was a lovely sitter, my boys enjoyed her company and the house was spotless upon my return! After some confusion to begin with (my own fault!) Taila was accommodating, and so helpful!

Sally and Jerry were wonderful They are lovely people who took care of our pets, plants and house better than we do. I could not recommend them more highly and hope they will come back to sit for us in the future. Sally left us a delicious curry and dal in the fridge on our return which was quite beyond the call of duty but was a great welcome home.

Sarah was all you could wish for in a catsitter. She was great at communicating all the way through, looked after the cats beautifully and kept them relaxed in their own home. I also came back to an immaculate flat and couldn't recommend Sarah more highly. It is always lovely to come home after a great catsitter has been here, thank you!

Sally stayed for three weeks while we were away in Europe and she looked after our dog and hamster. I really appreciated Sally offering to meet up a few weeks before the housesit, to meet the animals and to go through details (this was possible because she was staying nearby). She clearly bonded with our dog and quickly got into a routine of walking her morning and late afternoon. She kept us informed about the animals' wellbeing and communicated promptly to us about issues so we could help resolve them. The house was clean and tidy on our return and both animals seemed happy. The house plants were thriving and the garden too. Sally is a very reliable housesitter and I would fully trust her to look after our dog, hamster and house again.

I am leaving a good review as very impressed with jim and his wife when we met. Unfortunately i had to cancel their housesit as i am recovering from an operation and recovery was much slower than expected so we decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary at home.

I can’t recommend Annie highly enough. She was simply amazing. She was so kind to our dog Mitsy and treated her as if she were her own. She was also very patient with us and sent us daily updates and pictures/videos of Mitsy as this was our first time leaving Mitsy for such a long time. Mitsy was so loved and looked after by Annie. She looked after Mitsy so well when she had some bowel issues and even bought and cooked fresh chicken to get her back on track. Annie also looked after our house extremely well and even stopped the rabbits from getting in the poly tunnel. And to top it all off she had a delicious dinner ready for us when we came home. We feel and hope we have made a friend for life. And you could not get a better person than Annie to look after your pets and home. Thank you Annie.

We loved having Fi and Dan look after our cats. A lovely friendly couple who we immediately go on with. Fi sent lots of photos while we were away and it was pretty clear that our fluffballs were the centre of attention. Our house was immaculate upon our return and we would have no hesitation in recommending them. Thank you Fi and Dan. You were fabulous!

As soon as Katie and her mother, Lindsay, walked through the door we knew we were leaving the dogs in good hands. They made a huge fuss of the dogs and each were smitten with the other. They kept us updated with photos all through the sit. It was such a pity that the weather was so wet but they managed to walk the dogs in between showers. They are two very special people and I hope they can come back soon. They left the house immaculate and the dogs well nourished!! Thank you Katie and Lindsay.

Lyn was very clean and tidy and clearly loves cats. She sent sweet pictures throughout the sit and left the house perfectly, even bringing her own towels, tea towels and dish sponges so as not to use mine. I would say she’s not as confident as previous Housesitters hence my self sufficiency score but apart from that she looked after birdie and my house beautifully and with considerable care. Thank you!

Clare was a brilliant housesitter. She communicated well before and during her stay. She arrived as arranged, looked after our animals with great care and left our home very clean and tidy. (Even washed her bed linen!) We would recommend her to any other hosts.

Cameron and Bethany stayed for a week looking after our dog, snails, plants, and home. Communication was easy and clear throughout the stay, and the photos they sent showed that our dog was having a great time. He was also very sad to see them go, a sure sign that he bonded with them. Cameron and Bethany were super patient and easygoing with us as we navigated some of our own flight and travel complications. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, friendly, communicative couple to look after their home!

I had a lovely chat on the phone with Justine before we confirmed the sit which was great. She and Nick were wonderful, they took Chilli on lots of long walks and generally gave her a fabulous time. It was so reassuring to know that really cared for my animals. They sent me photos of them out walking and on the beach. The house was clean and tidy when I got back with all the bedding washed and on the line. Perfect! I thoroughly recommend them and would love them to stay again.
