Ila & Rudy are literally the best pet-sitters we could ever ask for. I refer to them as our "Therapeutic Pet-Sitters" because, Ila in particular, is deeply empathic and sensitive to our animal's various needs. All of our animals are rescued and many have been abused. Ila seems to be extraordinarily in tune with our most high needs animals in particular. We find that when we come home all of our animals have made social and emotional progress. Ila could probably make a living doing some kind of pet therapy... Rudy is also a great animal lover and is extremely competent around the house and fixing things. They are great at problem-solving situations independently when we've not been available to consult with. I really like that they usually have an idea on how to solve a particular problem solved when they contact us--that way we don't have to think very hard about what we need to do to help. Overall, in my 10 years of having pet-sitters stay in my home while I'm away, Ila and Rudy have been the best we've ever had. They are kind, trustworthy, honest, and the kind of humans you want to know as friends.
Brandon and Anne were wonderful sitters from start to finish. They are friendly, easygoing people. They communicated well in the days leading up to the sit, they kept us updated on how Luna was doing during the long weekend, and they left the house in perfect condition. We would be happy to host them any time.
Sapphyra and Santana are perfect housesitters. They took wonderful care of Pearl, communicated with me the whole way, and left the house immaculately clean.
