Andreas and his family were wonderful home and pet-sitters! Clear, easy communication from start to finish and our house was sparkling when we got home.
What a fantastic stay I had at Gerhards! ☺️ Upon arrival I was greeted so warmly by Gerhard & his Partner & I felt so welcomed and at home straight away. On entry I walked into a beautifully presented home, that was spotless, modern & with many amenities! Gerhard even took the time to give me a tour and show me how things works as well as going on a walk to the local park together with their dogs so I knew the surrounding areas! Also noting various dog friendly cafes/pubs that were in close proximity to! I felt very confident when they left knowing I had great information & from start to finish their communication was amazing. Now for the stars of the show🤩Fritz & Alfie! They were absolute dreams during my stay there, when out they walk fabulously together, knowing their way around the parks & loving each others company, having great re-call we got to enjoy lovely strolls out. I really got to enjoy how calm, sweet & affectionate they were, a real joy to be around-and fun to! My highlights being their endless cuddles during our evenings in! They were both the cutest dogs ever and whoever gets the privilege of getting to do this housesit will have an amazing time!☺️ Thank you so much again for letting me sit for you, Would love to come back again! Warmly Brenna x
I loved staying at Jana’s beautiful home. I felt very comfortable and relaxed. The plants needed little care, as the frequent rains watered them for me. The pool was amazing and I left with a wonderful tan!
We felt very comfortable in Dom's wonderful house. Dom and Ruth were great hosts. Max is a very sweet dog and was great with our daughters. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime.
What kismet to meet Dayna and Dan, and care for their eclectic animal family! We would highly recommend this petsit to anyone looking for a rewarding and unique experience. Home/location: A gorgeous, clean, and well appointed home with interesting artwork and spectacular views. The residence is located near Alamo Square, which is easily accessible by bus and walkable to restaurants, grocery stores, bars, and shopping. There’s no shortage of entertainment inside/outside the home. Parking is available for smaller cars; otherwise, 2- and 4-hr street parking is nearby. Pets: Tumbles the cat, with her cerebellar hypoplasia, is the patron saint of perseverance, and won our hearts immediately. She’s independent and easy to care for, but loves her pets and bedtime cuddles. She requires daily medication, and takes it readily. Daphne the cockatoo is high energy, social, and affectionate. She loves being with her humans, and requires caregivers who can be silly and fun-loving, but also patient and calming. Tip: She may try to get on your shoulder, which is a no-no place for safety reasons. Practice stepping up/down with her, and keep your thumbs firmly over her toes. Seymour, the older parrot, is a sweetheart and total flirt. While not openly affectionate as Daphne (as he mainly stays on his perch), we found him to be equally expressive, adoring, and entertaining. He loves being around humans as well, and deserves someone who can spend daily quality time with him. Overall: We feel grateful to have met Dayna and Dan, and be welcomed into their lovely, lively household. They’re excellent communicators, and left us clear instructions. Before the sit, we highly suggest meeting with Dayna and Dan to have a meet & greet with the critters, and learn bird handling and safety basics — especially if you’re avian newbies like us!
We really enjoyed our time in Muswell Hill. Ana Paula and Omar are great hosts, the communication was seamless, they gave us clear instructions regarding the kitties and the flat. Monet and Miumiu are so sweet, a bit shy at first but they warmed up to us quite quicky. They are very easy going, Monet loves going outside and Miumiu loves her naps. We even got some cuddles which made us very happy! We will miss them! The flat itself is very comfortable and super cute, close to public transport and parks, lots of shops around so we had everything we needed. Thank you so much for having us and we would love to come back again 😊
This house sit was very fun! Jacquie was very responsive and provided everything needed for a successful stay in Chicago. I took my 12 year old grand daughter with me for this sit and she was thrilled to play with her 4 cats. The cats were sweet and friendly and we loved taking care of them. Jacquie's apartment was very nice with floor to ceiling windows. The bus and metro were within walking distance and Ubers arrived within one minute. Just a great place to stay in the city...thanks so much Jacqueline and Alejandro!
