Linda and Jeff are wonderful people with a beautiful house just a short walk from North Beach. Their pup, Rita, stole our hearts. She’s got a real strong personality, a little hard headed, but so loving. Rita is very easy to take care of because if you forget to feed her or walk her or give her her meds, she’ll remind you. She has a good memory. We love Rita. Their home is clean, organized, has all the amenities, and a wonderful view. We saw bald eagles and wood peckers out the window, with the Straights of Juan de Fuca in the background. Their’s is a truly friendly neighborhood about 10 minutes from town. Linda and Jeff are easygoing, gracious and friendly. We think of them as our new friends in Port Townsend. We look forward to our next housesit for Linda and Jeff, but we wont wait ‘til then to visit with them and take Rita for a walk.
Lindsay, Phil and their family are lovely - they were friendly, generous, kind and considerate. They have a very comfortable home in a great location. Albie was timid when we arrived, but settled very quickly and we were happy to have gained his trust. He was great fun and The Best guide - we let him choose his walks and he took us in every direction up to the common, to Box Woods and along all sorts of footpaths we may not have otherwise found :) Minchinhampton has some beautiful walks and a lot of variation. Albie was very playful and enjoyed hide and seek, playing catch and working out puzzles like the kong. We very much hope to come back again.
The apartment is adorable, great location, Teddy is such a sweet and friendly cat to stay with, and Travis is an awesome host!
We couldn’t have asked for a better house sit. Rebecca was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Her communication prior to and during our house sit was excellent. Rebecca’s home is comfortable and spacious. It is in a quiet location close to the city centre. Her pet dogs Kizzy and Mali are loving and obedient. They are very easy to care for. We thoroughly enjoyed our house sit in Exeter and would highly recommend it to other sitters.
Barbara has beautiful home overlooking the bay! It is a walking distance to down town Sausalito with plenty of places to eat. I explored hiking trails in the area with amazing views of Golden Gate Bridge, red wood forests and creeks. It was easy to take care of the cat Lucy, she is well trained and affectionate. Barbara and Jim welcomed me with Thanksgiving dinner on my arrival. My 3 weeks stay was perfect and would sit again.
I had such a great time at Lindsey’s watching her cat, Ike! Lindsey was a wonderful host who made me feel welcomed immediately. I felt prepared to watch Ike for two weeks and Lindsey was always available if I had any questions. She provided so much helpful information and instructions on how to care for her home and pet. She made the process very easy! Ike is such a unique, affectionate and loving cat. He has an adorable personality and was nothing but well behaved the entire time. He is already missed! I would highly recommended applying for any of Lindsey’s future listings.
