We had a great stay in Dinah and Kevins’ lovely comfortable home in Fulwood, southwest Sheffield. Their home is located in a quiet peaceful area with great walks from the door up to the hills around but with good shopping and pubs close by. There is very easy access to public transport to the city centre and then onwards to other attractions in the Peak District and beyond if you don’t have a car. Sheffield is an amazing city for all ages, lots to do and see particularly if you enjoy sport, food and drink, museums and culture. The local parks are well kept and interesting to visit – Forge Dam in the Porter Valley to name one. Dinah was great to communicate with, they left us very clear sitter notes with lots of information on the local area. They were also very welcoming on our arrival. Saffy the “noisy” cat wasn’t really except at mealtimes! We found her a pleasure to look after and very accepting when we administered her current medication – it was no trouble really. She is still very active even at 14 and followed us around the house and garden and was great company at nights whilst watching TV. We can absolutely recommend this sit to everyone.
Jo and Ian were incredible with their communication from the get go and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Bob is a very, very friendly boy and we loved looking after him!
What a pleasure it was to come back to cat/poultry-sitting in Haute-Savoie, where we used to live ! The two cat brothers are little marvels; Pomme is a little more independent than Crumble - the cuddly one of the duo - and the two get on very well, alternating between life in the wild and naps on sofas as little kings of the house. There are also chickens, guinea fowl and playful ducks that add a fun touch to the place and provided us with some delicious eggs. Nikki and David's home is in an unspoilt part of the county and will appeal to all nature lovers. It has allowed us to continue to think and work on our future artistic projects away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Exactly what we appreciate and are looking for, which once again has been made possible by TrustedHousesitters and especially Nikki who was kind enough to trust us with the care of her house and animals. Merci ! We would love to do it again !
We had such a lovely time looking after Ashley and Darren’s home and pets. Ash and Darren were so kind and helpful to us the whole time. They made sure we felt comfortable and were very responsive whenever we had questions. Roxie is so sweet and loves cuddles. It took Princess a couple days to warm up to us but after that we were her best friends!! Thanks for having us and being so kind 😊
I had thw best time - Boyo and Mini are adorable ; the house is in a great location - 5 minutes walk from the subway, 2 minutes from a huge park ; the house has all you require during a sit ; Natalie was super friendly and the communication was easy. BTW, the view is amazing! Would love to come back for another stay 😺
Patryce is an amazing host! I really enjoyed my stay with Teenie and Ziggy! Her home is beautiful and incredibly peaceful and she was so kind and communicative. The cats are sweet and playful and it’s obvious that they are so loved and very happy. I would highly recommend this sit and hope to stay again!
