We had a wonderful time. Moose is an absolute dream, the goodest boy. He took a day to fully warm up to us but once he did he barely left our side. He is so well behaved and walks perfectly on and off leash. We had some long walks on the beach nearby and we always got cuddles every morning. He's always down for fetch in the (enormous) yard. The house was lovely with stellar views of the mountains, especially at sunset. Giant dog bed, all the blankets a girl would ask for, incredible soaker tub and shower, and a home theater in the basement. We had everything we needed for our stay and would love to come back to watch Moose again!
Elea and Mark are really awesome! Their home and hospitality are the best!! Mintzi and Pickles are adorable and followed me everywhere. They loved treats and food and cuddles. Definitely an absolute pleasure to sit here.
Anne and Jon could not have made us feel more welcome at their home and it was an absolute joy to look after Ricky. He is extremely friendly and affectionate and we loved our evening cuddles on the sofa with him. He tells you when he would like to be brushed (which he adores!) or when he can see the bottom of his food bowl and it needs to be topped up. Anne and Jon's condo is very comfortable with a lovely garden and pool to enjoy the warm weather. We had a lovely evening with Anne the night before the sit started and she treated us to a home-cooked dinner. We then met Jon on his return and, despite travelling for 24 hours+, enjoyed a glass of wine and good conversation. Thank you Anne and Jon, we'd love to sit for you again.
Allison and Lola were such sweet home and pet owners. As soon as we were greeted we felt at home and comfortable. Allison's pets are sweet, fun and hilarious. We had such a great time snuggling on the sofa with the puppies and enjoyed purring kitties when the sun went down. Allison's home is so warm and inviting - we would love an opportunity to come back and help out. Allison and Lola felt like family as soon as we met and can not fault our stay.
Sina is a gorgeous dog. She’s really intelligent and affectionate and understands what’s going on at all times. She is a special girl, who can sometimes get scared by the loud noises and busy nature of city life. She is best suited to an experienced dog sitter, someone who can give her the care and attention she needs, and who can recognise when she is getting scared or overstimulated on walks in the city. Sina plays well with most small and medium dogs, but might get scared of bigger dogs at the dog park, which is fine because there’s separate parks for small dogs and big dogs. It’s a very rewarding relationship with Sina, she takes a few days to “warm up” to you, but once you earn her trust, you will see she is incredibly loving and just wants to be around you always. Honestly we miss her so much already! Janine, Sinas mom, is a wonderful person too. She is kind, communicative and was very welcoming to us in her home and in looking after Sina. Janines (and Sinas) apartment was great, super location for visiting all the main tourist spots, and lots of dog parks in walking distance for Sina dog. There is a tram just around the corner and metro like 10 min walk down the road. Also grocery stores very close. The same goes for her mom Sonja, who is a very kind and caring person, who helped us while Janine was away and we were just getting settled. We loved looking after Sina and hope we can look after her again.
Jenny is the sweetest cat! I loved her lap cuddles, she’d sit on my lap for as long as I sat purring contentedly. I also love how she sits by the cabinet where her food is stretching and he pointing a paw towards the food 😅 And when I came home she’d greet me by rolling over for a belly rub 😊 Sudbury is a beautiful New England town with many conservation area to explore. I especially enjoyed Nobscot Scout Reservation. Your neighborhood is also great for walks and the bike/walk rail trail is so close too. Thank you for a great sit!
