Ronit is an amazing house and pet sitter!! I feel super lucky to have had her for our dogs and hope to have her back again. She's super responsible, very conscientious and incredibly neat and tidy. If you select her for your sit, I am confident she will do an amazing job. Thank you so much Ronit!
A lovely family home with the very lovely Sparkle & Scampy. I enjoyed spending time with both of them who interacted on their own terms, as cats do. They often sat near me & liked to be fussed & they were both lovely company. It was good to explore Kent & their local Strood rail station is only 33 minutes into London St. Pancras, on the high-speed train, which was a great bonus. Generous hosts & strong communicators, this sit is definitely recommended.
We had a wonderful stay at Phil’s home. His two cats Tam and Daisy are both so sweet and good natured. Easy to care for and excellent company; Tam likes to frequently check in on you and loves being cuddled, Daisy is more independent and spends most of the day outside but always returns with gifts, seeking praise for her talent ;) The alpacas are really fun companions too, shy but curious; on day 1 they’d wait until our backs were turned to approach and sniff us, by day 3 they would come over when we whistled and eat pellets from our hand (very soft muzzles..). Also very easy to care for! The house itself is set in a very private and peaceful location, with a gorgeous view of the nearby valley and woods, and a really beautiful footpath close by which takes you along the brook and through the woods. Our favourite room in the house was the South facing sun room, bright and warm and cozy, great for relaxing and watching birds of prey or deer if you’re lucky! Though sadly we didn’t encounter any wild boar during our stay. Phil was an excellent host; very kind and patiently took the time to show us everything on the first day. Really great communication through WhatsApp too. Thank you so much Phil, Tam, Daisy and alpacas for a really wonderful and healing stay.
A beautiful experience in every way! On arrival, and after introductions to the garden and dogs’ routine, Eric and Leslie whisked me off to a birthday/pre-4th of July party where I was introduced to many of their friends. Doesn’t this tell you just how well organized they are and confident you’ll be able to handle your stay?! After a good night’s sleep, it didn’t take long to settle into mountain life. Early morning and late evening walks were especially beautiful with Bella and Oteil. The 2 are surprisingly companionable, given their different personalities, but then WHO could resist Bella’s energy and enthusiasm? They were a joy to care for and I hope to see them again soon!
We sat for Cressida’s Bassett hound Missy in May of 2023. Our communication before and throughout the sit was quick and efficient. Cressida was friendly and accommodating regarding our arrival and departure and she prepared a great welcome guide for us. Her home is lovely, full of light, and with a big garden. She left us a big room with fresh linens and closet space. The home is a couple miles from two train stations but a bus stop is just around the corner. We were able to do half-day trips to both Warwick Castle and Stratford Upon Avon. Now the best bit….Sweet Missy! We already miss her! She is a loving pup who enjoys a cuddle and belly scratches. She wasn’t keen for long walks while we were there but she did do a few short ones and used the garden in the morning. She is a fabulous dog and very loving! If ever in the area and Cressida asked us to sit for Missy again- we 💯 would! It was a wonderful sit!
Very friendly and welcoming hosts with a lovely home in a beautiful setting. Walks straight into the countryside from your door. Ideal. We had everything we needed while we were there and were very happy in the home. We were warned of WIFI beforehand and it was a little slow and unreliable. Probably not ideal for anyone working from home. Video calls proved difficult. All of the animals were lovely and happy to be in our company. The cats were no bother and often came for a cuddle by the fire, the dogs are very affectionate and loving and we very much enjoyed their company. While recall was not very good for us, the dogs were good at following and coming back – but sometimes at their own will (Maybe we need to work on our Yorkshire accent). Leads were provided and used in some scenarios. We had a great time in your winter wonderland. Thank you for a lovely stay.
We had such a great experience sitting for Jim & Jane and Bella & Doja. They were so welcoming and treated us great. Bella was the best dog ever and so obedient and Doja just did her own thing. Bella loved to roam their beautiful property and always loved to be by you while doing a few chores outside. It was great to spent extra time with them and get to know them well. I hope we get another opportunity to sit for them.
