Our stay with Half Nelson was a perfect housesitting experience. We arrived a full day before Rhoann and Stefan's departure and had a great time hanging out with them, learning to play Nelson's favorite games, and taking a tour of Windsor. Nelson was friendly from day one. She loves to be pet and be near us but doesn't like to be picked up and rarely jumped on our laps. She's talkative but never complains and will play with you--and keep you laughing--for hours on end. Rhoann and Stefan's spotless condo looks like an art gallery, yet it's very comfortable. The location is excellent. It's an easy walk to anything you might need, including a world-class supermarket. Scenic cycling routes can be found in any direction. We could not have asked for more and would love to return should the opportunity arise.
Bryan and Marybeth were AMAZING!! From their top notch binder with ALL details to the well trained doggies, it was a pleasure to watch their babies and their home. They were the best hosts and during their trip things ran very smooth. I had a fun time adapting to the goofy personalities and needs of each dog and can't say one bad thing about this sit. It was also fun keeping in touch with photos and videos, and getting to know them. They certainly made me feel like part of the family! I would definitely recommend this sit.
This was a terrific sit! All very last minute; but what a lovely surprise. My only wish was for more time . Matilda and Oscar are darling kitties. We had a lot of fun playing with their toys and snuggling. Matilda is quite the social butterfly, so it was such a relief to have their gps trackers to bring peace of mind as they wandered about. Oscar is happy to stay close and loves to snuggle and play. It was a real treat to spend time here and the gorgeous home is handy to absolutely everything you could want. Molly and Rowan were wonderful, and welcoming and kind enough to host me the night before they left so I could avoid a transit mess the next day and it was lovely to get to know each other a little too. I highly recommend this sit and would love to come back again and spend more time with Oscar and Matilda.
Leontine and family are lovely, very communicative and available if required. Great home in amazing area and Billie & Skye are absolute characters/a delight. Billie is amazingly chilled, obedient, well-trained and playful/loving! So easy to walk/responsive to commands and loves her cuddles on the couch - very much a no fuss dog - loves her beach walks. Would highly recommend this sit and hope to dit for Billie & Skye again!
I can't say enough good things about my experience housesitting for Jamie! Scout is an affectionate cat, who is very self-sufficient and lovely to be around! The house is beautiful with warm wood tones throughout, vintage pieces, wood burning fireplaces, and lots of daylight. And the yard is absolutely incredible! Fruit trees, vines, succulents, flowers, seating areas, loungers, firepit, and pool. Humming birds and songbirds. I felt as though I was in an oasis. And last but not least - Jamie is truly wonderful to interact with! She is a clear communicator, who leaves detailed instructions and is kind and generous! I hope to be able to come back and housesit here in the future! Highly recommend!
My stay here was exceptionally nice! Tania's family is great and all three little guys were a pleasure to take care of. Little Biscuit thinks he is one of the cats and is quite curious about the deer who roam the neighborhood during walks. He'll be your steady companion! The house is really lovely and nicely decorated, so that makes it even more pleasant. All interesting sites and activities for Pacific Grove, Monterey and Carmel are within minutes and Trader Joe's and Safeway are within walking distance. If you visit Pacific Grove, you will have a wonderful stay at Tania's! Bonnie
