The homeowners are the coolest. They’re so kind and considerate that it was a breeze planning out my stay. In addition to their personalities, the pets are great too. I quickly bonded with the dog, Sally, and was sad to say bye to her. She slept in the crate on the first night and then every night and morning after, she was with me. Whether it be to pounce on me to wake me up with hugs or to claim the fluffy blanket on the bed, she was with me. She is extremely sweet and so easy to walk. Enjoy your time with her. ❤️ As for the cats, they both like pets and treats and they never once tried to scratch me. They’re kind cats! My only tip for them is to consider closing the bedroom door if that’s where you leave your belongings. I’m used to caring for cats so that’s what I did; I kept my belongings in my room and I closed the door overnight or when I couldn’t supervise them. When cats aren’t used to your belongings, they’ll be curious about them. From luggage to purses, some will scratch, search or steal. (I found my socks and flip flops under the dresser one day. Ha!) So, it’s smart to close the door if you’re not free to watch them. They are precious. Lastly, Koopa the turtle! He’s so cute! Awesome tip for him: When you walk Sally, you’ll pass by MANY of his favorite flowers to eat. You can grab them on your way home and then head straight to him to give him a great meal. Know that the flowers close overnight, so you’ll have to grab them while the sun is out. That’s about it. Enjoy your stay! I sure did ❤️
We had a most wonderful time looking after Heidi at Shari and Dave's beautiful home. Heidi is super chill, sweet and well mannered and was always thrilled to go on a walk down to the beach (or anywhere else!) or just hang out with us around the house. Shari and Dave made us feel at home right from the start and we had the good fortune of having a fabulous dinner with them the first night. They are very hospitable and showed us everything we needed to know. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location of the house is incredible with EVERYTHING you need a five minute walk away. An off-leash dog beach is right across the road. Downtown Vancouver is 20 minutes away on a direct bus right outside their backyard. I really hope to return to look after Heidi and share some time with Shari and Dave again!
Super awesome Housesit! Joe was really responsive, sweet, chilled guy and even offered to post me back something I accidentally left at his house! His house is really clean and cosy, very comfortable beds, awesome TV, great kitchen, beautiful garden with chairs that hang from the tree haha!! 💃🙌 I had an awesome time as there was a beautiful wild park across the road and it's pretty simple to get into the centre of Birmingham. The cats are really super cute, sweet, very soft and quiet, so would be great for someone who is not great with energetic cats as they are very gentle 🥰 Thankyou Joe!! Really had a lovely time 😊
Kate has unattainable expectations of those around her. She’s a perfectionist and expects the same from others. She was dominating and bullying in her communications. Not a pleasant experience.
Elsa’s place was great and in the perfect location. We had everything we needed and Elsa was very responsive when we had questions. Rosie is sweet and shy. She spent most of her time under the bed but could be coaxed out to play. We even stole some snuggles along the way. Her medication was easy peasy. We would certainly come back! Thanks Elsa.
Had a great experience sitting for little Violet. She is such a sweet kitty and loves to play. Most kitties meow when hungry but Violet lets you know when she is ready to play😊. The apartment was comfortable and in a perfect location to explore the awesome neighborhood of Ballard on foot. My daughter shares Sydney’s love of coffee and enjoyed her awesome setup there for making great coffee. Would love to sit for Violet again anytime.
