Annabelle & Henry

It was easy to give Henry and Annabelle 5 stars. After seven weeks I came home to an immaculate house and, most important, a well cared for and happy cat. Communication was excellent, Henry was quick to respond to my messages and kept me well informed. When heavy rains proved to be too much for a previous handyman’s fix, Henry’s photo and videos were invaluable for submitting to various masonry contractors for estimates. P.S. This morning I finally hired a contractor for a more permanent fix. He also replaced a toilet handle that had broken off. Meanwhile I came home to a reorganized kitchen and an immaculate home. An animal’s behavior will tell you everything you need to know about their treatment. Cookie was relaxed and her usual sweet self. My only regret is Henry and Annabelle are moving out of state so they are unlikely to be available in my locale. But I highly recommend them. They gave me real peace of mind.

Eileen and Chris were fantastic! They were great communicators and took amazing care of our elderly cat, sending great updates. Our home was spotless and our cat was very happy when we came back home. Would have them back anytime!

Andrea was excellent. Super responsible and helpful. She sent us daily pictures of our 15 year old dog which was hugely appreciated by all. The house was left in perfect condition. She was really flexible too and we would thoroughly recommend her.

Very grateful to have selected Heidi to accompany Max during our vacations. In addition to being very affectionate with Max, very organized and very neat in the house she is a very physically active person, so that every day she made Max enjoy long walks. She was always keeping us informed about Max while we were out of the country. We would definitely like her to visit us again for company and exercise with Max.

Lauren was a 5 star pet and house sitter! We want her to come back! Lauren was so easy to work with--very communicative, relaxed, very good with our dogs and their needs. She was incredibly clean and the house was immaculate when we returned. She was very self-sufficient and we were able to relax on vacation knowing Lauren could handle anything that came up with the house or the dogs. Total piece of mind. Troi took good care our our kitties and left our place in excellent shape, exactly as we’d left it. We would have liked a touch more communication, but I think there were some issues with Troi’s phone so messaging was spotty at times. Overall, I’d recommend Troi and we’d be glad to have her sit again.

Kaami

We all loved Kaami! For me she was professional, timely and a great communicator. All of these qualities helped me feel comfortable being away from the boys for 2 weeks. The cats were a bit skittish after I left but Kaami preserved and within a few days they were so comfortable with her, they were playing and cuddling with her daily. I would have her back any time without reservation. She is a charm.

Jenna

We had a wonderful experience with Jenna! She was super communicative from the start and we were able to easily figure out the details of her arrival time and departure. She asked a lot of clarifying questions about our dogs' needs before the sit so we were on the same page. She kept us up to date about her arrival time, which was super helpful as we needed to coordinate getting to the airport. Our two dogs warmed to her immediately, which is not always a guarantee for our dog Otto who tends to be more standoffish when we leave him with someone else. Jenna was also able to give our dog Kiko her nightly medications - this was the first time we have had a sitter administer meds, so we were initially a little worried about it as Kiko can be a bit sassy. Jenna sent us lots of updates and pictures during her stay (love this!). We returned to a super clean and tidy house and happy dogs. We would be more than happy to have Jenna come sit for us again and recommend her for other people seeking a reliable, caring and communicative sitter.

Carli

Carli was great! We have a difficult little dog and she was patient and kind with him. She eventually won him over! Carli checked in with us often, even sending pictures of our happy pups! The house was left clean and tidy. We would have Carli come sit for us anytime!

Janice

Janice is obviously an experienced pet sitter and was very thorough to understand our dogs and their routine. While there were many request and requirements asked of our family ahead of Janice agreeing to the sit, our one request was that her plans aligned with our flight schedule. The morning we were scheduled to depart, Janice changed her plans. While we were ultimately able to work it out, it was our first vacation traveling with our twin infants and the added stress was not appreciated.

Andrea & David

Words cannot describe how lucky we were to get Andrea, David and Luca as our house sitters. During the house sit, our little dog Honey became very ill and was hospitalised numerous times. They handled this situation with so much compassion and generosity. We we’re uncontactable for a large proportion of time and as such they had to liaise with members of our family and also the vet directly. Everyone who came into contact with them said they had been just wonderful with Honey. There is no doubt the whole scenario was very stressful for them but they never complained. In the end, we had to cut our trip short to come home and be with Honey during her final days. This meant that they had to find alternative accommodation over Christmas. Again, there was no fuss or complaints just compassion. Aside from that they kept the house in excellent condition and looked after our other pets (chickens and a cat) very well. Luca is an adorable child by the way! I would thoroughly recommend Andrea, David and Luca for any house or pet sitting assignments. 200% happy. I loved this sit so much! Talia and Steve are awesome and immediately made me feel welcome in their lovely home. And Talia was a great communicator from start to finish and really quick to reply if I had any questions.  Their home is clean, comfortable, stylish, and exactly as pictured and well located near everything that Bend has to offer.  And Sophia and Marco couldn't be sweeter or more adorable.  They are both wonderful, well behaved dogs with fun personalities - they like to spend plenty of time relaxing in their warm beds but also enjoy walks around the neighborhood and are easy to manage together on a leash.  They are very affectionate and easy to care for and I miss them already.  I can't recommend this sit highly enough!

I was so pleased to finally be able to house sit for Martin and Annette, near Sudbury, at end of October. Their farmhouse is really lovely_ so warm, well organised and comfortable.
I enjoyed their hospitality whilst being given clear instructions for looking after Jasper and the hens.
With glorious weather, the walks around the farm were great. Jasper is such a lovely natured, obedient dog and he was my "constant companion". He even loved the trip by car to Sutton Hoo one day.
It was a wonderful week, meeting local dog walkers, attending the village barn dance and exploring the locality.
I would recommend this sit highly and I thank Martin and Annette for their kindness.

JENNIFER

We feel so fortunate that Jennifer selected us for this housesit. Her home is set in the most lovely and peaceful locale, and the spacious screened porch provides the perfect spot to immerse yourself in the beautiful surroundings. It would have been easy to spend all our time on the porch! All three of the cats stole our hearts: Willa, the gentle and beautiful Maine Coon, Sumi who overcame his initial shyness to end up rubbing against our legs looking for cuddles, and Obi, with his huge eyes and mischievous antics. Sumi and Obi love the screened porch, so they will gladly keep you company out there. And we were so pleased to have the opportunity to spend time with Jennifer, including long conversations about a wide variety of topics. 
The guest suite is spacious, with a private bathroom and a nice large bedroom containing a brand new (and incredibly comfortable) bed and lovely linens, a closet and a bureau with drawers, all for our use. We also had access to an adjoining room with a desk where Ron was able to set up his laptop and get some work done. 
If you are looking for a housesit in an historic but comfortable home, in a beautiful and peaceful rural setting with 3 sweet cats and a generous and warm homeowner, then this is the housesit for you. We are hoping that our schedules will align with Jennifer's in the future so that we can come back to this wonderful place and, most especially, spend time with Willa, Sumi and Obi.

I had a great time staying with Chilli in at Anna and Hugo’s. Chilli is a super friendly cat who loves a cuddle and a belly rub. Perfect company for my trip! Their apartment is also in a great location with easy access to some really lively bars and parks. Recommend watching the sunset from Parc de Belleville nearby! Would happily stay again.

Karen + Chris were amazing hosts, and Zerlina was a gem! Karen + Chris were very welcoming, made sure I had everything I needed and were very communicative before and during their trip, which I appreciated. Zerlina is very sweet and loves to cuddle, nudge you when she is wanting some love, and overall, is very easy to take care of and be around. She made several appearances on my work Zoom calls and was the highlight of those calls :) I would highly recommend Karen, Chris and Zerlina to any future housesitters.
