Janice was amazing. She was so thoughtful and sweet with our older dogs. Our pets get a little out of sorts when we travel but Janice was very intuitive and made adjustments for our dogs and cats. Janice sent multiple updates and pictures to let us know that all was gong well. I highly recommend Janice and I hope that we can have her back as well. Wonderful person!
We can’t say enough wonderful things about Mayra and Andre. We signed up for zeewoi in Nov. 2022 and they were our first house sitters. We have a 90 lb Pyr/lab rescue mix named Finn who can be leash reactive. We needed to find people who had experience with reactive dogs. We joined zeewoi because we wanted to keep Finn’s routine as normal as possible. Also, he is prone to severe ear infections. The last time Finn stayed in a kennel he came home with an awful ear infection that the kennel staff had missed. He was lethargic, tired, and in pain for several days due to the infection. We didn’t want him to go through that again. We felt immediately comfortable with Andre and Mayra as we chatted online and it was clear they knew exactly how to manage reactive dogs. They also set us up for success and answered tons of questions re: what housesitters would need. We enjoyed dinner together on the day they arrived. We continued to be impressed with their zeewoi experience. They are also just super nice and fun to hang out with! On the day of our international flight, Finn woke up with an ear infection, despite being on meds that were supposed to stop them. We were thisclose to canceling our trip. Mayra and Andre calmly and expertly took things in stride re: a vet appointment, meds, follow up, etc. They communicated with us frequently that day, sent pictures of the vet bill and receipt (we arranged payment before we left), and followed the new treatment plan. They sent daily pictures of Finn’s ears, so we could see improvement. They sent pictures of Finn being his happy goofy self so we knew he was recovering nicely. They saved our vacation, our peace of mind, and most importantly, our dog. When we came home (after 2 days of flights) we entered a spotless house and were greeted by a happy, healthy dog……and an amazing home cooked meal. We were exhausted and hungry and it was so generous and kind of them, in addition to everything else they did while watching Finn. When it was time for them to leave Finn snuggled close to them and gave them lots of kisses. He doesn’t do that with everyone. As they drove away he sat at the door and watched them leave—again, not something he does normally. A true testament to how awesome they are! Not only do we humans highly, highly recommend Mayra and Andre, they are truly “lab approved!”
