Lupin is the sweetest old lady I have ever met! I had a wonderful time there, Mariana and Mark are super kind hosts. :) The area is also beautiful, perfect either for short or long walks.

Imagine a Hallmark movie: Estes Park, Colorado. Sitting on a cozy couch, by a warm fireplace, watching it snow, with two chill dogs that want to hang with you. Perfect inside temperature and vibe. Beautifully decorated home that is cozy, classy, and European eclectic. So peaceful, I truly can’t put the stay into accurate words. David and I discussed why we loved housesitting so much. It’s because the pets make you feel so comfortable, like you’re at home and yet on vacation. Housesitting for people that make you feel like family is perfection. Steven, B, and their family were so welcoming and warm. Openness and kindness exuded from all of them. Their location is perfect too. They also introduced us to their wonderful friends and neighbors. The neighbor took the time to snowblow the driveway for us. Their dog even came over for playdates with Tripel. Athena and Tripel both loved being loved on and enjoyed sitting with us on the couch or bed. I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about the entire sit. So many large windows to enjoy the scenery. Heavenly.
Thank you Steven and B for choosing us!

Let's just cut to the chase, If you get a chance to sit for Jessica and her sweet, senior pack, I highly recommend it!
The cats are all docile. Trixie, the third-floor cat, is definitely up there for a reason lol. She can be a toot around the dogs and is not afraid to let you know when she has had enough of you too. lol. MJ is a lover but will not miss an opportunity to demand a few treats and Lucy is the passive one and just goes with the flow. The dogs are as sweet as can be! Gracie will nuzzle up next to you for pets anytime she gets the chance and Cassie will sit near by but does not need the same amount of affection. They both love walk around the beautiful neighborhood, as did I!
Jessica's home is absolutely gorgeous! There are lots of stairs and you will need to carry the dogs down them if they decide to follow you up to bed. So if you have trouble with stairs or balance, this might not be a good fit. I had no problem, but as an older sitter, I can appreciate that some may.
the house is a short drive to downtown or you can catch the bus. I actually didn't have any trouble finding parking the two days I went downtown, so I drove.
If you don't have transportation, you can easily walk to an Aldi's and several fast food and mom and pop restaurants.
Again, I highly recommend this sit for anyone wanting to explore Philly!

Yasmine
I had a very comfortable and easy stay at Yasmine's house with her four beautiful cats. As she describes, the cats each have their personalities, but they were very easygoing, especially Vivi who is very shy and likes to find her window seat. Stella is the "star", she loves some attention and playtime often amusing herself with the many toys. Bianco is very independent but occasionally wants some love and Sparky is definitely the alpha, likes to strut around like a handsome prince, then sleep contended with his easy life.
Yasmine welcomed me into her home, which is convenient for lots of shopping and restaurants, and has a patio/yard sitting area. I also had access to an awesome neighborhood clubhouse with a gym and pool! Yasmine was very communicative and gracious, even leaving me a Starbucks card and chocolates as she noticed it was my birthday! I hope to return to Yasmine's cattery soon.

Amy
Amy was warm and welcoming over the phone when we spoke about the sit. The home has beautiful large windows which makes it feel like you're outside. Scout and Tuna are very loving animals who love to cuddle and have lots of together time and are happiest purring on your chest (Tuna) or nestled at your feet (Scout). This is a great sit for anyone who wants the comfort, love and affections of two adoring animals.
