Excellent choice! Vicki & Jim arrived at our designated time, was prepared & excited to meet our two dogs AND agreed to also take our challenged little foster dog for the entire sit. We were 100% comfortable with not only their personalities and presentation of themselves, they were just as they were on the phone. We had a lovely pre-departure time with them. I have a little bit of all kinds of animals & when we left I had not 1 worry about how things would go. Vicki checked in with me, as per agreement & from what I heard from the neighbors, they blended right into our roles. We have 2 senior dogs that are in a routine & certainly the routine was met. Upon return, we found the house & dogs clean, loved & well taken care of, in the heat of summer, they also took great care of all of our yard, watering every other day. I HIGHLY recommend Vicki & Jim, extremely trustworthy, true to their words. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who I love & care about, and I recommend them to you as well!
Maryellen did a lovely job with the boys, and put in a lot of effort to get them to warm up! After a long time of working from home with Covid mandates, they had become very used to limited visitors and me always around. Kai was on her lap within a few days, however, and both boys were requesting attention from her. Pics I received showed the boys both interacting with her, and laying in relaxed positions. Key indicators that they were faring just fine! Maryellen also took in as many Chicago experiences as she could fit in, which is important! I appreciate house sitters that use the time to explore the food and liveliness that Chicago has. Meme enjoyed everything from art to bus tours, and hotdogs to steak, and her enthusiasm is infectious! That positive energy is easily picked up by pets, and I know the boys benefited from it. My home was clean and well maintained as well. It was lovely to come into it and relax. Thanks again Meme!
