The home was as described. Excellent communication throughout. The cats behaved well. Roger was a sweetheart and was like a little shadow of ginger. Kamala was a little shy but overcame this eventually. Khali was quiet but affectionate
We had a really lovely time staying at Amanda’s looking after Shadow and Axle. The dogs are gorgeous and Amanda a very generous host; we arrived the evening before she went away and were treated to a delicious supper. She had also made us a casserole and a pudding ready for our next evening meal! Amanda’s lovely house is warm and the en-suite bedroom very comfortable. We spent time looking out across the fields watching the spectacular sunrises, kites and Muntjac, sun, rain and rainbows from the windows. Shadow and Axel are attentive, loving, well behaved dogs and an absolute pleasure to spend time with. The two ginger toms showed up occasionally and were also lovely. The local pub, a short walk away, is a gem, serving good food and craft beer. We hope we can return to this lovely part of Norfolk to sit for Amanda again!
Beautiful home (and the best backyard!) and such sweet animals. We were very happy to spend time in Bend with Sally & Nora, and are grateful to have new friends in the area. Thanks for sharing your space with us.
We had such a great time at Megan and Jay’s house. They are lovely people, Megan made us feel very welcome and had everything we needed during our stay. It is an amazing experience to stay here, we spent a lot of time at their home with all their loving pets, who we miss so much already! Luna, Lenny and strawberry schmickles are all sweet animals and super easy to look after. Their personalities are adorable, very affectionate, love cuddles and their walks. Megan showed us throughly everything we needed to know whilst taking care of them, and we stayed in contact everyday through out stay! She also gave us great hints on where to eat, what to visit and much more. Thankyou for your hospitality! We would love to come back one day, see everybody again and take care of the animals! It would be a pleasure!
This was a very nice experience because of the adorable personality of Satchmo and the warmth and kindness of Liz. She is so welcoming and has a very comfortable home. We will be happy to hang out with Satchmo again.
This house sit has been a favourite for us for many reasons. We were given a very warm welcome and lovely meal on arrival, the house was so comfortable and Abbi was very easy to look after. Sharon and Chris are great hosts who give clear and helpful instructions and couldn’t have made it easier or more pleasurable to house and pet sit for them. Abbi was easy to take for a daily walk, seemed happy just to be around us, she let us know if she needed anything and was no problem day or night. We slept well in the separate casita on arrival and in the house while Sharon and Chris were away. It is quiet, dark and relaxing at this fabulous home. The house was clean and easy to leave as we found it so nothing was a chore here. The outside kitchen, patio, pool and views of the desert made our stay very special and we would have gladly stayed on another week!
