Communication with Maria was excellent. She's a lovely, thoughtful lady who tries to help the sitter wherever possible. Dory the Adorable is a lovely cat. She likes to be in the garden, rain or shine. She tries to catch the birds, but she's not very good at it yet, which makes for hilarious entertainment. Maria and Dory live in a fabulous area of Amsterdam, with lots to do and lots to see. When the weather is nice, the garden is a fab place to be in. Look out for the parrots flying over the gardens. They live in one of the flats, but they are exercised regularly and you can hear them squaking in flight. They may want to watch little Dory, who is perfecting her skills.....
Di and Brett were wonderful hosts, with a lovely home in a beautiful area. Bernie was super easy and an absolute delight. He is a very happy dog, and has the cutest head tilt when you talk to him! I loved exploring Moonee Creek, which is an amazing eco-system and a great place for swimming in the summer months with beautiful clear blue water. My son Lev was able to fish while we explored with Bernie! There are also stunning beaches nearby. Definitely recommend this sit.
Amelia and Ivan were wonderful! Their cat Alice is sweet and easy going ! The flat is amazing and close to everything! We enjoyed our stay very much! Communication was easy and we would petsit Alice again in a heartbeat! 🥰
I absolutely loved staying at Diana’s and Phineas place! Phineas is so adorable and we really bonded. We cuddled all the time and he’s just the sweetest cat. 🥹 Diana is super lovely and there was great communication! The place is also really nice and super cozy. I like to do a sit over Christmas, Alison and I had regular communications from July 2023 (when sit was confirmed). It was a delight to finally meet Alison and Boots the day before the sit. Also, to be back in the South West. Alison is a kind and warm natured with whom I felt very much at ease with. With Boots, we did a bit of shopping together and Alison made a lovely evening meal. Boots is such a sweet and gentle soul you can’t help but fall in love with her. She was super company, and I loved my many, many cuddles. Boots is inquisitive, enjoys a sniff and is very welcoming with people and dogs alike. She likes to play, especially tug of war, happily chews on her bone or chills out on her mat. What I liked about Exmouth was how everything was easily accessible on foot with a dog. Exmouth is really set up for dogs and I was pretty much able to take Boots everywhere with me except the supermarket. People of all ages walking into town, along the promenade or on the beach. Many had dogs and I enjoyed exchanging hello’s with other dog owners. Good bus and rail links. Melissa was a great communicator and it was an effortless stay because of this. Her home is very relaxing place to stay. Ludo acts independent but appreciates reassurance and Olive really likes company including talking to, cuddles plenty of loving and lots of play. I hope to sit again as I had such a lovely time.
