From the moment we arrived at Carol and John's stunning home in Aiea, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. My husband and I spent a month caring for their puppy Kaipo and their cat Millie. The guest house is a haven that is well equipped with all the amenities needed for an extended stay. Waking up to the breathtaking views overlooking Pearl Harbor was a daily treat, and the serene surroundings provided a perfect backdrop to our month-long stay. As for the pets, Kaipo the puppy was an absolute delight to care for. His playful nature and boundless energy kept us entertained, and his affectionate demeanor made it easy to form an instant bond. Millie, the cat, was the perfect blend of independence and affection. She had her own routines, yet took the opportunity to sit for a long scratch and pet. We cannot recommend this sit highly enough for anyone considering a house sit in Hawaii. We are immensely grateful for the opportunity to have stayed here and would jump at the chance to return. It was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. Thank you Carol and John!
We felt welcomed and comfortable in Ozzie and Linda's home, and very charmed by Claude. It was my longest sit yet - three months! But once we got accustomed to the newness of living on a frozen lake in winter, the isolation was not a problem and we settled into a routine of pleasant jogs and walks in the neighborhood, with deer and other wildlife in abundance. The restaurants downtown and the many grocery store options made Heather and I feel civilized during this long remote work trip. We would also take day trips on the weekend to other small old towns in the area - an unexpected treat! Claude is an obedient, mellow, good natured dog. Ozzie and Linda were very clear and yet laid-back and friendly in their instructions and communication style. Care of the house was straightforward and easy, with the house furnished in an organized and thoughtful way. Would do it again! Thanks to you both!!
