Dog Sitters in Chicago Ridge, IL

Stefanie was wonderful and I highly recommend her to all! Communication was quick and effective. Our house was left very clean which was so appreciated after being gone for so long. I have (probably) an overwelming amount of house plants and all were still doing great, as well as our outdoor garden. Even a few days after she has left our dogs still check to see if she’s in “her room.” We felt very at peace the whole time we were gone and knew our dogs were in great hands.

Could not ask for better care … I hope they loved their stay as much as he seemed to love them!

It was so nice coming back to our apartment where our rabbits were clearly taken care of! My shy rabbit seemed very calm when we came back, which assured me they were happy with their care. She even went the extra step of a very tidy apartment, even though I assured her I would be able to do it for her. Thanks Priscila!

Patricia and Tyler took care very well to our kitties during this Christmas. We felt reassured that we left our house in a good hand. They sent us updates and pictures of our cats from time to time and kept the house cleaned and tidied. They are a lovely couple that loved cats and animal in general. Thank you again and best wishes.

Iman was communicative, professional, and completely self-sufficient. I came home to happy dogs a tidy home and my outdoor space was even beautiful. Everything is as we left it. You would be lucky if she’s available to take care of your home. I hope she wants to have a repeat stay she would send videos and photos and when we communicated, she was incredibly responsive.

Brittany was wonderful! She sent me cute picture updates of moose while I was away, and when I came home, my house was spotless and clean, just like I left it! She treated my dog and my home like it was her own, and I would be happy to have her back anytime!

Susan was great! Our kitties were very chill when we got home, thanks to her! Our eldest cat needs medication twice a day and we appreciate that she had no problem doing that. The house was very clean and our garden was thriving. It was obvious that Susan read through the he welcome guide, based upon her thoughtful follow up questions. She also left suggestions for things to do for future sitters. Would have her back in a heartbeat.

Phuong is a lovely person and Puff and Polly seemed to enjoy her company very much much. She watered the plants and kept the house clean and tidy and even left us some delicious food!

He lived literally ONE mile away from me. This made it easy to meet in advance of the sit and go over details. During this process, he told me he would have to leave soon. This gave me the impression it was a lower priority for him. Being 1 mile away, however brought up some things I hadn't experienced with sitters from out of town. He wanted to know if it was ok to have friends over to my apt. My cat is very shy and timid around strangers and I told him no. He wanted to cook in my kitchen. It was left very messy. 3 cupboard doors left open, food stains on the stove, counter and fridge. Pots, pans and utensils, he used were not put away. For a person who lives one mile away, these are both things I would have thought could have just as easily been done in his own space. Why did he need to use mine and leave it in this condition? He didn't clean out the cat brush, not sure if this was to prove he had brushed my cat. He left the litter scoop IN the litter box. An amateur move, this would make many cats NOT use the litter box. In the past my cat has stopped using the litter box for similar reasons. She is older and relies on steps to climb onto furniture to sit with me or to sleep with me. Cats, creatures of habit, are upset with changes and one of her steps was moved. She's old, the equivalent of a 90 yr old grandma who depends on these things being there for her in the same place. Without telling me he locked the chain on my front door from inside the apt. So I was unable to enter my apt from the front door. After a long trip home, after getting to my front door I discovered, I had to use the back door. Had he just mentioned that in advance it would have been nice. I left my keys in a lockbox and the lockbox was not returned to inside the apt like I asked. The management company has asked us NOT to leave those out. My internet device was left plugged in, I had asked in person and in writing, it be unplugged when not in use. I had asked that bedding not be removed from my bed, I prefer to do that myself as the bed frame is susceptible to easily being damaged. The bedding was left in a pile on the floor with a damp towel at the bottom of that pile. Personally I was taught, if you use something belonging to someone else, including their personal space, to return it to the same or better condition you found it. In my opinion, this was not done for my space and my things. Petcare felt to me, as if it was less than the top priority and that Andy is not very experienced with pet care. Overall, I was unhappy with Andy's care of my pet and my space.

Michael and Bonnie were wonderful guests! I felt completely at ease leaving my cat and my home in their care. They kept me updated, spent time bonding with Catman, and left the apartment clean and ready for my return. They were personable and self-sufficient, and let me know about a potential concern with my cat to follow up on. Clearly animal-lovers! I would have them back any time.

Nina was a PHENOMENAL pet and house sitter. She was a consistent and reliable communicator from her initial contact through the end of her stay, and had a very warm and comforting presence. She sent pictures throughout her stay, so I never had to wonder how the pups were doing! I felt very secure knowing that Nina was staying with my babes. She also left the apartment even neater than it was when I left, which made coming home so nice. I highly recommend her as a house/pet sitter!

Kate was amazing with our pup, Daisy. Daisy requires medicine and extra care, and Kate was wonderful. While Daisy was happy to have us back home, I think she misses Kate! Kate also helped us water plants and get our mail as well as other household chores. This was very helpful as we were gone for so long overseas. We would not hesitate in recommending Kate to serve your sitting needs.
