We thoroughly enjoyed our time looking after Blackie, and would happily put our hands up to housesit again. Communication before the housesit was good, written instructions on arrival was very thorough with lots of tips and ideas as where to go and what to do. Blackie was an absolute delight and no problem at all. Sorry if we spoilt him, but it was hard not to. We are already missing having our meals on the veranda overlooking the bay. Thank you so much for a wonderful opportunity.
Our recent stay at john and morta s „smart“ house was an absolute delight! The host pair s hospitality was exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. The comfortable bed ensured a restful night's sleep, and the fully equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare our meals with ease. highlight of our stay were the adorable animals. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them outdoors and snuggling up indoors. Overall, our experience was nothing short of exceptional. We highly recommend this place for sitters on this platform!
Kate was very welcoming, making you feel very relaxed, you can tell she is very experienced at hosting sitters. She was very thorough, explaining everything we needed to know before her departure & introduced us to the ‘absolutely, delectable’ Benji. Benji is also very comfortable with having sitters. You just had a feel about him that he is aware of what’s going on & is very happy to return your love & affection & spend time with you, playing & relaxing. He honestly, is such a star you cannot help but love him! Kates house is beautiful, in a fantastic location with Ludshott Common close by, such a great place for stunning walks with Benji. Waggoners Wells also, sadly as it was a short sit we didn’t get to visit here until after we left. As per a previous sitters comment, we also would not ordinarily have gone for a short sit but it just felt very right & comfortable to do so! Would totally recommend & would have no hesitation in returning, dates permitting.
We loved staying here. While the house was perfect (beautifully decorated, cool modern design, very clean, spacious, cozy and warm with a wonderfully big front porch and a view of the mountain) and Tracy & Daniel were great (friendly, kind and responsive) the highlight of this stay was Romeo. He is gorgeous. He was definitely shy at first but by the end of the day had warmed up to us and is very sweet and cuddly. Because of where the house is located, he is able to roam around outside on his own and he loves to spend most of his time laying on the porch or walking around the property. At first we were anxious that he would run away so I kept him on the outside lead/leash, and would frequently open the door and invite him in with a treat. Once we knew he'd come in for treats, we felt more comfortable letting him go off-leash (which is what he loves to do). Often I could sit outside with him on the front porch and work - there's a plug outside and the wifi is great. Overall this is a fantastic stay that we highly recommend!!

We were delighted to be able to house sit for Tess and Tom. Their home is on the outskirts of the village of Villecroze, set amongst olive groves and the vines of the Domaine Saint Jean. The house, reflecting its owners, is expansive, relaxed (and relaxing) warm, engaging and just a delight. The house sit includes a tennis court, swimming pool, a long drive way, a rather stately front, excellent library, art to ponder and linger over, dreamy views and gorgeous surrounding countryside. Picturesque walks start from the very back door. For the keen (and energetic) you can walk right up to Tourtour. The household pets include two beautiful mild mannered dogs, one cat, a cockerel and five hens. If you are ever offered the chance to house sit here: just go. You will not be disappointed.
