We stayed in Maria's lovely home which is in a very nice neighborhood in the hills of Redondo Beach with lots of places to walk to. We stayed in the guest suite which had a large private bathroom. We had been told during our interview that the guest room had a trundle bed , which we were fine with. The room is very comfortable. We cared for two adorable small dogs. They were a bit nervous initially, but they calmed down after about a day and we enjoyed walking them and snuggling on the couch with them in the evening. They are very easy to care for as they have their own doggie door to the outside and they also have self-feeding bowls for their food and water. Maria was very responsive to all communications and even offered suggestions of places to walk to with the dogs that were nearby and had spectacular views of the LA basin. We truly enjoyed this house-sit and highly recommend caring for Oreo and Shadow as a positive experience.
Housesitting in Antigonish was just a wonderful experience. Sian and Rick were incredibly kind and warm-hearted. Their welcoming and generous nature made me feel right at home, and I’m so glad that we got to overlap at the start of my sit. Their home was a warm and cozy homestead with a wonderful vibe to it. I especially enjoyed their encouragement to use the amazing tub, solar-heated clean water, and sauna space. Mittens was an independent little Miss, whose love language was food and scratches. Easy to care for and a joy to hang out with. Her steady purr could melt your heart and felt healing in many ways! Antigonish itself is a scenic and beautiful town, and specifically Sian and Rick's land is beyond words incredible, offering a mind-blowingly beautiful view and spaces you can easily get lost in. I loved walking through Sian's willow fields and watching their incredible growth. If you get a chance to sit Mittens, I wouldn't think twice!

I had such a lovely time staying at Kate and Kabir’s magical home and caring for their lovely animals Yunus and Lupe. Lupe was lovingly attached to me, anytime I was home she was near me which I adored! Yunus took a day or two to warm up but once that happened he loved cuddles and attention! Kabir was a responsive and generous host, offering to let me stay an extra day in their guest sweet and did everything you make my stay easeful. Already miss the animals and would love to stay with them again!
We spent beautiful days in this city enjoying the company of the fun and energetic dog, Archie! It was a pleasure to meet him and Nick who was very kind and received us very well :D

I’m so glad that one of our friends shared Harvey’s House w/ us!!! From the 1st contact we knew that Rudy was going to be in the best hands!! Communication is caring, prompt & so easy! Everything they do is so thoughtful! For our 1st step Andrea, Chis & Harvey had us come over for a meet & greet! They had several dogs that day & let me tell you they have this figured out!!! They had the dogs they were watching come outside one by one to meet Rudy. He has never had the opportunity to play w/ other dogs so we did not know what to expect. The approach that they have was awesome & he had so much fun making new friends & playing! Drop off & pick ups are easy! The communication while we were away was OUTSTANDING!! Anytime I texted I heard back right away, we received pictures & you can follow along on their instagram stories & it puts your heart @ ease while you are away from your pet! We truly felt like Rudy was on his own little vacation!! We will always use Harvey’s House now when we go away & will definitely be spreading the word to anyone looking for the best care possible for their pet while on vacation! They also have dog play dates which we will have Rudy attend soon as I am sure he is already missing Andrea, Chis, Harvey & his other new friends❤️
We are new to Harvey's House. I used to bring my guys to a kennel and always kind of felt bed, since they are not used to sleeping in a crate. Harvey's House is perfect. They get to socialize with other dogs (carefully though...we needed to do a meet and greet to make sure all the personalities meshed before we jumped in). The environment is very similar to their environment at home...lounging around the house and running around a fenced-in yard. Additionally, Harvey's House came to the rescue when my mother passed and I needed a place for my buddies to stay for two nights...it was great. I was not worried one bit about my Frank & Mick. 🐶❤️🐕

Harvey’s House Petcare is a local treasure. Our dog is extremely social and it is a dream come true to have Harvey’s available for both Saturday play dates, to let him simply be a dog with other dogs, and for sleepovers when we are traveling. He is able to be in the comfort of an home and honor his instincts as a pack animal. Harvey’s House PetCare is AWESOME!!! What a find! We were referred by a friend after having a horrible experience with an area kennel. Andrea and Chris took the time to meet Lucy (free of charge) to get to know her so she and we would be comfortable with her staying at Harvey’s House. Being able to go away and have a peace of mind that Lucy was being well taken care of and loved meant a lot to us! We received daily videos and pictures which were so fun to watch. We are so happy we found Porter Road Pet Care! We just got back from a week trip and sent our 2 year old GSD here. He gets nervous around others at first and needs a little time to trust and they did so well with him! I could see how happy he was in their updates and when we picked him up. He played with other dogs at his stay there and was sleeping nice and cozy when we picked him up! This place helped me relax on our trip. And I can't wait to send him here again!

Had a great experience boarding my dog here. She is a nervous girl and gets anxiety when I leave. She also needs slow intros with other dogs and the staff were so lovely and accommodated for her needs. They made sure she got attention, ate, and had her meds on time. Her kennel was clean and spacious with an outdoor run. I loved the web cam option so I could see her. When I picked her up she was happy and not as anxious as she’s been when trying other sitting services while I’m away. I will definitely return and highly recommend them!
It was my old boy Prince's first time there. His old groomer said they couldn't groom him anymore because his hind legs give up on him. The wonderful people at Porter Road groomed him, were so kind to him, and said he could come back anytime!
Driving into the property, I knew we found the right place for our dogs and cats. The location is beautiful and it is immediately obvious that the family loves pets. The owner accommodated our needs. We received pics of our dogs on their walk and they looked so happy! Drop off and pick up were efficient. Well worth the trip from Enfield/ East Windsor line.
I cannot say enough good things about porter road pet care and their staff. My Great Dane is a nervous boy but the team here does such a great job with him. Knowing he’s in such great hands eases my own anxiety about being away from him. There’s no one I would trust more with my boy
Had a wonderful experience. My corgi had a 10 day stay while we were on vacation. We were able to watch her on camera and able to call to voice any of the concerns that we had. Everyone was willing to discuss her daily routine and made the extra effort to help her adapt to her temporary stay. When we picked her up on the 10th day she was bathed, smelled wonderful and looked very happy and excited to see us. If you are nervous about leaving your fury family member ...don't be... they will be just fine!

My 2yr and 4 yr old Papillons loved the grooming. They were lavished with love, professionally trimmed the Papillon trim. Their fur is bright white and silky smooth. Paws, nails trimmed.... they look wonderful. I usually groom them....I will be going to Porter Rd pet care from now on!! Thankyou!!!!

Maya loves when her friend Giuseppe comes to take her for a walk. He's great with her. He has the experience to handle my enthusiastic, energetic dog and was truly a great help while I was recovering from my knee surgery.
Would absolutely suggest Guiseppe for anybody looking for pet care. He watched two cats and a dog over a long weekend away, and they couldn't have been happier. If you need a reliable and relatable sitter or walker, this is your guy.
Giuseppe is a true professional! He communicates so well about each walk, sharing photos and updates. Our dog was hesitant about going out with a new dog walker and Giuseppe was patient and worked with him to make sure he'd be comfortable. Now our pup is so excited to see him in the morning that he waits by the door for him. I'm very grateful we connected with such a trustworthy walker. I highly recommend him and hope he's in business for years to come.
Giuseppe did the greatest job taking care of our dog and two cats when we went out of town for a few days - he went above and beyond just looking after them, and really treated them as his own pets. He also sent along lots of pictures, which we definitely appreciated! Five stars isn’t enough. Would recommend.

The Good Dog Spot was amazing to my 8 month old golden retriever pup. We wanted to get away for a long weekend and placed our pup in their hands. She had very favorable report cards! We took advantage of their puppy package too, which meant playtime and a gourmet treat. She came home happy and we felt at peace leaving her there knowing she would be safe and comfortable. Cooper loved the TGDS. He was there when he was a puppy and now still visits for regular grooming. We love their services. They always kept us informed about his progress with tons of pictures. They are very nice and did a beautiful job on my dog Anna. Unfortunately, Anna was NOT having it when it came to her nails (we tried and unfortantely, she has to be put under anesthesia to get them done. She has been clipped and bled too many times with the quick in her nails when she was younger. The Good Dog Spot did try.) Please don't read bad into this as it was her very first time in 6 years getting pampered professionally. She got nicked at her vet, Dunkin Doggies, and a few other places but NOT at The Good Dog Spot. They give report cards on the grooming, which I think is great. She came out smelling great!! We have given her her baths before since she was a 4 month old puppy. She loves her bath time. Whenever we take a bath she tries to jump in with us. We have to say no its our bath time. Will definitely bring her back again!! Well worth it!! Saves on our backs and cleaning the tub and bathroom after she splashes and shakes!! (LOL)
The good dog spot has been a great place for my dogs over the last several years. They enjoy their visits for playgroup/ daycare and for boarding. The staff is friendly (to humans and dogs) and caring.
My dog Lucy had a grooming with Lisa Peloquin. Lucy was tired when she got home, but Lisa did an amazing job. Lucy was so clean and shiny, she smelt amazing and her nails were perfect. Highly recommend.
Our dog Kelly has been going to The Good Dog Spot for a year, and there is no better doggie daycare around. We have always felt comfortable leaving her in their care, whether it's for daycare, grooming, or boarding. They have great staff that works hard to socialize the pups and make sure they have the best time while they're in their care. Kelly loves all her friends at daycare and is always so happy go.

My girl (on the right) loves it here. She attends daycare once weekly with several of her Canine best friends. In addition to helping physically tire her out, she also partakes in the Trick of the Month club to help work her mind. She also gets groomed monthly to help us manage her undercoat. She is always excited to arrive and see all her friends. She truly loves the staff and they do a great job making you feel like part of the family. I recommend them to anyone who asks.
Love hiw staff goes above and beyond to care for my dog. Communication is excellent and even though my pup is shy they find ways to include him on things while giving him his space.
Krystal has been taking care of our two cats while we are away for four years and I am beyond impressed. She is so reliable and good with our cats, even when one started having behavioral issues. Now she gives a pill to one each evening! It is such a relief to be able to go away and not worry. Highly recommend!
From the first moment Bella met Krystal it has been love, which was fabulous since she was a nervous rescue and I was not sure how me going back to work was going to go. I have a somewhat recalcitrant elderly terrier mix who is always wary around new people, especially when I'm not around. But she quickly warmed up to Krystal and has enjoyed playing with her and getting some needed exercise and attention while I'm away. I enjoy peace of mind knowing that I won't have to worry about my dog, and scheduling and paying Krystal is so easy on the app she uses. She also takes amazing photos of her clients' pets (which she shares with us!) and maintains an active social media presence, which is a lot of fun. (Also, once she rescued me when I locked myself out of my house, since she was the only other person with a key!) I'd recommend Krystal to anyone in the area!
We have been extremely happy with our pet sitting service from Krystal. We met Krystal a few years ago and at that time she not only took care of the cats, but also watered my garden. I now live elsewhere and Krystal takes good care of my two cats who demand attention. I spoil them! They love her! My husband and I now travel much more. I just let her know the dates and I don’t worry about them at all. She is very accustomed to their needs and likes. We are extremely lucky to have found her. My girls love ❤️ her and I look forward to my daily pictures. Always brings a smile to my face knowing they are safe and happy!
Krystal is nothing short of amazing with my dogs! They LOVE it when she comes to see them. She is responsable, dependable and a great communicator. She has never cancelled on me and can almost always accommodate my needs even on short notice. Krystal is great with our cat!! We go on many vacations and she will come by our house twice a day to take care of our buddy. I love the pictures she sends us! I can see how happy our little guy is when she's there! I would recommend her for anybody who has pets that need attention!!
I love that Krystal requires a meet and greet for all of her new clients. She came to the house asked me general questions about my dog, his schedule, the location of his belongings (food, treats, toys, leash), what his personality was like, what makes him uncomfortable, etc. That extra attention to detail really made me feel comfort in how much she cares and how seriously she take her job. After each visit I receive a couple of pictures and an update about how my fur baby is doing that day. I feel Krystal really goes above and beyond for the pets she cares for, I would highly recommend her!

Daragan's takes the best care of my pup for day care and boarding. They learned her personality so quickly, are so understanding of her needs, and flexible with my busy schedule. I found Daragan’s Dog Care while searching for a place to board my 7mo old Black Lab puppy. I met with Anne Marie for a meet and greet so I could introduce my pup Merlin to the staff and the space and got a good vibe from the beginning. My dog has extreme separation anxiety yet the staff at Daragan’s did a fantastic job taking care of him. He was as happy and healthy as ever when I picked him up! If I could give more stars than 5 I absolutely would! 10/10 would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for boarding, doggy day care, or training. Camp K9 is amazing. When I went to check out the place I wanted to see if they were clean, friendly, knew what they were doing because my dog cant just go anywhere, they are so on top of there game its amazing. My dog LOVES it there she runs to the car to go there. The staff is so friendly and they make you feel like your part of the family and you know they truly care about your dog. Camp K-9 is absolutely a 5 across the board! Our timid weimaraner was a little nervous for her first day of camp and sleepover. The staff was absolutely fantastic introducing her to the other pups and getting her to step up her confidence a bit. The facility was spotless, organized and very well kept. I was so happy to know our dog was having just as much fun on "vacation" as we were! Thank you to everyone at Camp K-9!

My boyfriend and I can’t say enough good things about Leslie! Our dog Monty has been getting walked by her a couple of times each week for about half a year now. We've used Stella's Bones since we moved to the area in 2018. Lesley is great! She walks our dog, Bingley, and has loads of patience with him. He is a stubborn old coonhound and he gets up to no good sometimes. She sends pictures of their walks almost every day. She even sends photos when he refuses to walk and he's just flopped on the ground. But I know he's safe and cared for with her, so it's perfect! We have also used Lesley for cat-sitting when we go out of town. She comes by to feed and water them and scoop their boxes. The cats like her and are always relaxed when we get home. I highly recommend Stella's Bones!

I was so glad she was available on pretty short notice when our other plans fell through! Our pets were so well cared for and we will be continuing to use Stella’s Bones for future pet-sitting needs!
Lesley is the most wonderful pet sitter. She genuinely cares about her clients - human and animal - and she goes above and beyond to make sure they are well taken care of. Kate has an aura that animals trust & feel safe with. Our Baby was the protector of humans, dogs & cats at our house, she would assess new people with extreme caution but she took to Kate within minutes. Our 4 dogs and 3 cats are always happy to see Kate. She bakes the best dog cookies.
I met Kate years ago due to our mutual love for greyhounds. We would go on group walks & Kate's back pack always had water, homemade treats & her camera. This is one of my favorites of Ebby. Your furkids will enjoy their time with Kate.

I cannot say enough positive things about Kate. With my Boyfriend deployed and how busy I was this summer having someone to help was incredible. Our Border Collie is very shy, but thankfully playtime and cookies helped him to warm up to Kate unbelievably fast. Everyday she came for a visit I got an update with adorable photos. We just did daytime visits, but I would feel 100% safe with her watching our dog and cat for a longer trip if necessary.
Kate has watched our pups on many occasions, outside of her new company. We were able to thoroughly enjoy our time away from home, knowing that our pets were in the best hands possible, besides ours, of course. LOL We totally trust her with our beloved pets. Please know that your pet will be truly cared for and a bond will be formed. She truly loves these furry family members of ours. If you are in need for such a service, please keep Kate in mind.
Kate Scoles, Owner of Fresh Air Pet Services has been dog sitting in addition to walking my two pups for the past 4+ years. There is no one I would trust more with my babies than her. Her love for these animals comes through as she treats them with the utmost care and compassion. When I leave my pups in her care. I do not have a worry or a thought in addition to wondering if they miss us, as it is vacation for them as well!! I highly recommend Fresh Air, you will be extremely satisfied as she is second the none!
Great place to bring your pet. The staff is very nice. The kennels are warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The pups have access to be inside or outside whenever they choose. The price is very reasonable as well.
This place is fantastic! The folks at the front office are extremely nice, organized and the place is very clean. Having lived here only a year I was worried about finding a place to board my 2 dogs while traveling but this place is perfect. My dogs are always super excited once they know we are headed to Mt Tom boarding and they have not been like this when going to other places. I could not recommend more.
Mt Tom Kennel is the ONLY place I will ever board my precious pups. Kuma and Kimchi love it here! The staff is absolutely incredible! Thank you so much Tommy, and John for always answering the phone, giving me updates, and giving my pup’s attention. I can travel peacefully knowing my babies are safe! The facility is super clean and I’ve never had an issue with “kennel cough”. I highly recommend boarding your pets here!

Staff are friendly. They've been our veterinarian for all our huskies. I would recommend them. They provide good service, and they send application reminders .
My dog was happy and healthy when I picked him up, the staff was great, the price was right... overall, an excellent experience.
I have brought by dog to numerous different kennels and keep finding I am most satisfied with leaving her here. She can go in and out as she pleases, it is nestled in a nice area by Mount Tom state reservation. She has always come back in excellent health. I have been dealing with the same person there for years and they come across as professional and caring. When I have to go out of town, leaving her here has been a worry free experience.
We've been boarding with Mt. Tom Kennel for over 10 years. Joe and his staff have always made sure our dogs receive the best care. I have never been disappointed. I've seen some of the negative comments here and I can't imagine that there is any relation to the treatment from the staff. Kennels at time will be noisy yes, but swing by during the night and all is calm and never anything unusual going on. Overall the staff is friendly, caring, knowledgeable and tend to like what they do.
I boarded my cats here years ago and they did a great job. I have my one year old lab scheduled to be boarded over Thanksgiving. The people here are very nice and real animal-lovers. My vet is on the same property so it gives me peace-of-mind.
I have been using this kennel for almost 10 years. My dogs are always in good care there. It is a busy place, but that is typically the nature of boarding kennels. They provide consistently good customer service and there are always at least 2 or 3 staff waiting to help when I arrive. I have never personally had any problems or worried that my dogs are being mistreated. They take my dog on a daily leash walk and there is an enclosed run attached to each indoor kennel. It is also very reasonably priced for what it provides. They are attached to a vet's office. If you want something that is more of a low-key home environment, then you will pay more and this isn't that type of kennel. I will continue to go there as long as they are in business and provide the care they do.
My dog loves going here!! She goes to daycare and we board her on weekends when we are away. She has made so many friends - doggy and human alike! The facility itself is nice and clean and welcoming. The staff are friendly and welcoming as well. They have a nice outdoor area and will take the dogs on "nature walks" on the bike path - for a little extra. The only thing I think could be better is how many extras there are.
I moved up here summer 2023 and I used to bring my dog to Pet Hotel down the street but figured to give Wagging Tails a shot (even though it's further down the road from my commute to work). I don't regret my decision. Bowser has been with the pack and goes 2-3 times a week. He gets excited in the morning going there and gets excited coming back home. I appreciate you all over there and so does Bowser! ♡
Our dogs have gone to Wagging Tails for years but we will never go back. They clearly prioritize profits over the health and safety of the dogs that go there. Both of our dogs got an antibiotic resistant Kennel Cough type disease after their last daycare visit. Wagging Tails is the only place where they could have gotten this. Our vet has told us that this disease is common for dogs that go to Wagging Tails. Wagging Tails also hides any critical comments on their Facebook page; check out their 8/25 post as an example. If you care about your dogs then please avoid Wagging Tails.
I have taken my dog a few times in the past years for grooming. I was very happy with the service at first which was done by people who seemed well trained and very professional. That has not been the case the last few times. The has been a lot of turnover and the staff does not seem as knowledgeable or trained, and a little overwhelmed with all the work. It’s a shame.
We mainly use Wagging Tails for boarding during long trips, once or twice a year. Still, our pup feels right at home. They take great care of her and of us!
Wagging Tails has been amazing for our puppy, Trixie! They treat her super well and she never comes home stressed. We use them for occasional daycare and boarding. Can't recommend them enough!
I can not say enough about how amazing Wagging Tails is!! We were gone for an entire week for thanksgiving, and our families being out of the area, we had to board our pug for the week. I was so worried because he is a love bug who loves laps and attention more than anything, and he is with me 24/7, so I wasn’t sure how he would do. With Wagging Tails updates and daily Facebook posts, I knew exactly how he was doing the whole week, and got to see how he interacted with the other dogs and handlers. I cannot recommend Wagging Tails enough!!
My dog, Naya, has been going to Wagging Tails for years, she was one of their first pups! She loves this place. It’s clean, busy, and she has a blast every time. She needs medication administration twice per day and eats a special refrigerated diet. They have no problem accommodating her needs. The owner and all of the staff are so kind and caring. Great place to leave your furry friend for a day of play or a week of stay! Thanks Wagging Tails!!
We just picked up our dogs from 15 days of boarding, and the seem to have been well taken care of but our experience with the person at the checkout desk was extremely negative. He was not professional or friendly when we entered, and then charged our $1200 dollar total to the wrong card. When we said that was the wrong card he started arguing with us and went into the back where we could still hear him loudly complaining/yelling about us and saying it wasn’t his fault (??). I’ve never experienced something so unprofessional, especially after spending so much money with a business. We likely won’t be back here and will try boarding somewhere else with better customer service. I’ve seen other reviews also commenting the service at the front desk was unsatisfactory, and I would agree.
My current and past dog have done boarding, training and doggy daycare at Wagging Tails. The staff is wonderful, they treat your dog like family and really seem to enjoy their jobs. My dog is always excited to go and comes home exhausted. When we moved to the area we visited, we toured and tried out many doggy daycare, and Wagging Tails is by far our favorite. Some of the others may look nicer or fancier but we found staff did not know the names of the dogs, did not seem to love the dogs like their own and most importantly my dog was not even tired when she came home.
