I feel like we struck gold! Like most people we were hesitant when we read "family" however it was the best decision to go ahead with Chris, Jaana & family. From first messages, to running out of time on a zoom call, the communication was great. That followed through with meeting Chris at our house beforehand and all the messages & pictures from Jaana throughout our trip. I felt so happy knowing our cat Cooper was being properly looked after, spoilt and cuddled. The house was spotless when we arrived home, with fresh food in the fridge and Jaana had even made us a dinner to reheat! Honestly went above and beyond. We have already arranged the next sit and would highly recommend to anyone! Thank you guys :)

It was wonderful to have Hannah sit for me! She is extremely self-reliant and responsible. She loves animals and sent me pictures of my cats hanging around her when she was doing her morning yoga. As one is very shy, this told me a lot about her care for them. While I was gone she even took care of a situation that arose regarding someone who wanted to purchase a couch I had for sale. ´No worries!´ Hannah took care of everything for me. My home was clean and the cats were happy!!! Hannah is absolutely wonderful.

from the off Mike and Sue were as helpful as possible, leaving their home at the crack of dawn so as to arrive at our House in order to have a longer morning handover before we had to leave for the airport. they sent regular messages and photos of our dogs, which were lovely to see, and feedback from our neighbours who encountered them whilst walking were all very positive. Our House was beautifully cleaned on our return, and we would wholeheartedly recommend them.

Becky and Michael were great - I’d have them back anytime. They clearly loved the dogs and even possibly liked the feral cats! Huge advantage was that Becky knows about horses which was great!

Richard was the most fantastic house sitter. Communications on arrival and departure were excellent. He sent us photos of our 2 dogs and cat whilst we were away and left the house immaculate for our arrival back home. I was welcomed with flowers and a lovely card. I cannot recommend Richard highly enough. :-)

Andrew and Jayne ... AMAZING homesitters. The tribe were looked after and cared for beautifully. All our communications were perfect, the tribe probably didn't notice we weren't there but we were kept up-to-date with their antics, etc. They're lovely people and I do not have all the adjectives to describe just how comfortable we were having them stay in our home and look after the creatures. We are just so pleased that the stars aligned and they came to stay. The house was also cared for brilliantly and Andrew even cut the grass! The sheets were laundered and dried and a quiche, bread, milk left for us on our return .... ah, zeewoi extraordinaire!

Heidi & Richard

Richard and Heidi took exceptional care of Buster and Daniel and our home. Much occurred to challenge them while here - Daniel was really very ill while they were here at Wellspring Cottage, and they took him to the vet and kept up all subsequent special diet with close care and attention. Concurrent with this a new soakaway had to be urgently installed and again they coped with the intrusion. Several domestic hiccups were kindly repaired by Richard. Six weeks is a long time for us to have been away, but our dogs were beautifully cared for, and all was kindly in order for our return, for which we heartily thank them. Do hope the four of them found some time to enjoy being here too, and pick veg from the garden, and explore this beautiful area.

Hannah was amazing from start to finish - we desperately looking for a sitter as a few had let us down last minute and after our initial video we could tell our home and baby would be in safe hands! She was super flexible with arrival times and very honest about the plans she had whilst being in London so that we could arrange for a family member to go round if necessary (which they didn't need to in the end!) There were constant updates with pictures of Sydney and it was obvious how comfortable and happy she was in Hannah's care. The house was left lovely and tidy and everything went so smoothly we are beyond grateful and hope to see Hannah again! Xxx

David looked after our Bernese Mountain Dog. He arrived nice and early to be shown around then relaxed as we moved around him as a family packing to get out the door. We were updated on things with Artos. On return the house was great and the dog all happy. David was great and left the house in great order. Great sitter and nice guy.

Elyse is AMAZING.  If I could give her 6 stars, I would.  We felt so lucky she was able to take care of our house, our cats (and - at the last minute- also our dog!) and our garden. She was a terrific communicator, incredibly responsible, and our pets were happy when we came home. And our house was in perfect shape.  Thank you, Elyse!!  We hope you can sit again in the future.

Marie and Dan have created a beautiful and peaceful home to stay in. They were very welcoming and we felt instantly at ease. Jaya and Bella are lovely gentle dogs (we found it handy that there were two of us as they need different things from their walk). And cuddles with Tigger were a particular highlight of our stay. We really enjoyed our trips to the little town nearby of St.Leon and the multiple local markets on offer. Thank you Marie and Dan for your trust in us and we look forward to staying in touch.

I met with Issy and Svez just before they were due to leave, they were very helpful, showed me around, provided me with clear instructions in-person and also a written guide.

It was an absolute pleasure looking after Isla and Lochie, they are so gentle, calm in one moment, full of energy the next, I miss them! They were really easy to look after, enjoyed playing a lot, I even got a few cuddles from Isla! I really enjoyed my time with them.

Issy and Svez's place is very well located and in a beautiful area, close to a subway, walkable distance to Kelvingrove Park and Museum, Glasgow University, plenty of other interesting places and good restaurant options nearby. If they ever need a sitter in future, I would happily sit again.

Jan and David were exceptional hosts who warmly invited us into their home. They took us around the area and showed us where everything was. They had a gathering of neighbours over one afternoon before they left so we could meet everyone and feel part of the community. The house is amazing with a kitchen that has everything you need.
The ‘boys’ Fergus and MacDougall are well behaved, calm, beautiful loving Golden Retrievers. They love their walks and their food. They let us know if they needed to go out into the back yard then calmly wait at the door to come back in, and if you take too long they give a bark just to let you know they are there. MacDougall likes to lean in for a cuddle and Fergus loves to be near you especially if you’re in the kitchen. It is easy to fall in love with these two boys. 
We absolutely recommend sitting for these two boys and would love to come back.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Catherine and Jim's property. The dogs are very sweet and well-behaved, and the house itself is stunning - inside out!
Instructions and expectations were clearly communicated. I highly recommend house-sitting for them!

Best suited if you have a vehicle. There's a bike path close by, but it's about an hour's ride to either the ferry or downtown Victoria.

This was a wonderful sit!! Mr Diggs is the sweetest dog and loves people. He is so friendly with other dogs no matter their size! I loved taking him on walks and letting him run in the dog park. Although he’s a big boy he’s really well behaved and I always felt that I had control! I even took him on the ferry which he did very well on. I loved our cuddles as well. Sarah was also great at communicating and very welcoming which made the stay even better than I could have hoped for! Her family was also nearby for support when I needed tips, recommendations and to occasionally walk Mr Diggs if I wanted more time out. I would definitely recommend Sarah & Mr Diggs to everyone! Their house was also lovely to stay in! An all round great experience!
