Marguerite and Drew were great sitters who we would highly recommend. We initially 'met' by Skype and they kept in regular touch before the sit, visiting us the day before so we could introduce them to Cassie and answer any questions they had about the sit, much easier than on the day of travel when things are usually manic. They then kept in touch throughout the sit, with photos and updates which was great, and it was clear that Cassie was thoroughly enjoying their company. Towards the end of their sit, another dog, completely unprovoked, attacked Cassie, luckily without serious injury but Marg and Drew took her straight to a vet for treatment, getting the details of the owner of the other dog so they could be reported. They told us immediately, together with photos of the injuries, and sent us frequent updates on her condition (which luckily was OK) which was hugely reassuring for us although it must have been a horrible experience for them. We came home to an immaculate house, newly made beds and some very thoughtful gifts of wine and flowers, and they had even done some odd jobs in the house and garden which was definitely over and above what we could have expected. All in all, two lovely people who you can trust absolutely to look after your animals and home.
FANTASTIC!! I'm so glad Grace applied for my house sit. From the first point of contact through my trip she was one of the best sitters I've found. I came home from my trip and my dogs were not even excited... which is a good thing. They had such a blast with Grace and felt such a loving bond with her that they barely missed me. She's good with big and small dogs, won't let the dogs rule her and provides the loving support they crave.
Kathy took care of our home for 8 weeks while we were out of state. She was responsive and communicated clearly, asked good questions, and took excellent care of our landscaped, 5-acre property and home. We don’t have pets but we do have a lot of plants and young trees, which she cared for during a period of high heat and drought in Central Texas. I highly recommend Kathy.
