We had such a great time looking after Bella and Bubbles and taking care of Jennifer and Doug's home. The location was easily accessible into many parts of Houston, and the home was cozy and comfortable. Bubbles lived up to her bubbly name, and Bella was a little lady. They were so sweet and easy going. The neighbors were also friendly! Thanks so much for a great sit, Doug and Jennifer!
Colby was super at communicating with me, and we worked really well together to prepare for the trip as well as during our stay. The dogs are really different from each other, primarily due to their age difference. Biscuit is very ball focused and wanted constant play. Sly was chill and didn't ask for much. We cuddled together on the couch, took walks, and generally had fun together. I highly recommend Colby as a host and Sly and Biscuit as companions!
I had the pleasure of looking after two ultra-lovable and playful dogs at Cobus' place. Walking and playing with them above Lake Zurich was a highlight. Cobus' penthouse apartment was not only breathtaking with a fantastic view, but also incredibly welcoming. I felt very comfortable during my stay, and Cobus made sure that I lacked for nothing. Keeping Rocky, Nina, and Sam company surrounded by the unforgettable beauty of 'true' New Mexico is highly recommended. Spunky Rocky is a pleasure to play 'toss' and walk with because he enjoys taking you on different routes. The cats and Rocky love to sit close to you and keep you company wherever you are. Even though Leslie's beautiful home is outside of Santa Fe, it's only a 30 min drive to explore Santa Fe & other areas. As a worker who works remotely, I had access to great Wifi. Leslie is an amazing host who makes you feel like you are at home and is easy to communicate with while she's out of town.
Justin and John have been incredible people to encounter on our journey. From the first contact to our farewell, their communication and charisma were exceptional. They welcomed us two nights in advance and even prepared dinner for us, not to mention that they gave us a ride to the train station upon arrival and departure. Molly and Poppy are absolutely lovely. Each has their own personality and way of showing affection. Both will have plenty of love to give, so be prepared to be the center of attention while you're with them. Country walks are Poppy's favorites, and Molly may take her time, but they both end up happy with your company and care. As for the house, there's not much more to say; we could live there forever—it's incredible. Justin and John's taste is extraordinary and full of class. We would return without a second thought whenever we can, because aside from taking care of their pets and their home, we were fortunate to find a couple of new friends on this travel adventure.
