Mustang is an exceptional dog. I really love her. Very wary at first, she’s not the kind of dog to warm up to just anyone right away, but after a good walk on the beach, she’s the sweetest dog I’ve ever met. Gentle, extraordinarily obedient, without a hint of aggression. She’s truly unique, with such maturity for her age. Kudos to Corrine and her fiancé for raising her so well. Generally, most of the dogs I’ve met are very well-behaved, but Mustang fascinated me. And she’s so beautiful. I think she’s kind of afraid by young kids. Jack Daniel, on the other hand, is a good old cat who’s perfectly content at home. He pretends the kibble machine isn’t working and pretending he haven’t eat since last year, just a look at him to know that is lie, and hides so well that I was afraid he had escaped through the patio. But after looking at Jack, then at the gate, and back at Jack, I realized there’s no way that big cat could jump that high. Don’t worry, he’s in the closet. Very very deep in the closet. The truth is that he’s very smart cat who like people and attention. He’s not the discreet kind of cat.

My dog Miso started attending daycare last week at Good Dog at the Pearl. Staff is beyond friendly and takes time to know the dogs. Everyday my dog was greeted by name by multiple employees. I can truly trust that my dog is safe and well taken care of. Plus they post on social which helps give me peace of mind and see what fun activities she’s doing during her stay.
My dog has been coming here since they pretty much opened. I love how personal they are with each dog, they know each dog, they know each dogs traits. They know who the dogs best play with. Lately since they’ve gotten a bit busier seems almost impossible to take my dog to the daycare since boarding gets first priority and considering the area the daycare is at, makes sense. That part does frustrate me, especially since I’ve been going since they first opened their doors. But I’m also proud of everyone and the business for growing as it has. I’ve tried other daycares only bc it is closer to my side of town, and I always find myself going back here for the good of my dog. Her happiness and excitement when she first picks up the smell of going to the building is something no other daycare has provided for her. If you want the “mom and pop” feel of a daycare that truly loves your dog(s) and isn’t transactional like most others, this is the place to come! Highly recommend!
Highly recommend Good Dog for daycare and boarding! They take great care of my elderly schnauzer who can be a bit high needs. The employees always recognize my dog, show her lots of attention, and give me an end of visit report. My dog is always excited to see her Good Dog friends (human and furry ones)! They are attentive with giving her medications when she does boarding and sensitive to her moody old age. Additionally, they offer flexible pickup and drop off windows that work well with my busy schedule. I feel so lucky to have found this place!!
My dogs spent the last week at Good Dog Boarding and Walks and had a great time! It was the most relaxed home coming they usually go nuts for me! Clearly they got lots of love! We had a little emergency and the manger Casey and her team took excellent care of Leo and made sure I knew immediately what was going on! Good Dog at the Pearl has been a lifesaver for me! My dog absolutely loves to go to doggy daycare and has so much fun and comes home tired and ready to sleep. Good Dog also provides services to pick-up and drop-off your dog at home, and this has been so helpful. All the individuals I have encountered at Good Dog have shown how much they care for my dog. For example, my dog is not one to run up to strangers in public, but he saw individuals from Good Dog when we were out for a walk and he ran up to them immediately wagging his tail. My dog is always excited to go and spend the day there. I would highly recommend Good Dog if you are in need of care for your dog!
Our dog is absolutely obsessed with Good Dog. We live nearby, and he mopes and stares on days he doesn’t get to go see his friends. As soon as he knows he’s going, he sits to put his leash on and runs when the gate opens. The employees always receive him with just as much love as he gives them. We’ve been taking Waffles for almost 9 months now, I think, and he never seems to grow board of it. I think it also speaks well that he started going as a pretty young dude, and now has very good manners around other dogs. They also do cute things like holiday parties, enrichment play, and lots of social media posts. We love seeing updates about our boy.
Good Dog is the absolute best. When we moved to SA we were worried about finding a place for our new puppy to play during the day. We were so lucky to find Good Dog. They have the best workers who care about your dog and treat him/her like their own. They are flexible with scheduling and even offer a pick up / drop off option , which for us is a major plus and are so grateful for. Our pup absolutely loves it there and so do we. Some days too, we can even get her freshened up with some of their puppy spa offerings!!!! Thank you to Good Dog for taking such amazing care of our little one. You guys make us feel like family. ive only used daycare so far! i only wish i could spy on my dog while shes there lol but i trust that shes in good hands. i used a different company for boarding that did have cameras but it was only in the play area and the employees hardly engaged with the dogs + there were very little toys/activities for them to use. i would at least like the option like at Good Dog where i can pay extra for my dog to have 1:1 attention and exercise. the employees know my girl by name and anytime i email to add on additional services, theyre able to get it done. same thing w last minute booking, ive had great luck w this thus far. i do wish they had a bell in the lobby so i could get the employees attention when dropping off. its only been a problem once where i came in pretty much right when they opened and understandably, no one was at the counter, but since i was in a rush i think i noticed it more. fyi you only get a few pics or vids (usually 1) that are posted on their instagram, maybe sent via email if uploading/attaching allows. because of this, i may use rover in the future just so theres even more attention, photos & updates to go around (because im crazy & obsessed) but this is a great option for me right now, especially for daycare services
I took my dog here for day care and she had a blast !! The staff genuinely adores dogs and the playground is clean and cute with fans outside.
Our dog loved her first ever day at day care and I'm so glad we choose good dog. She had a fun day playing and I got a couple of really cute updates. She was well looked after, had lots of fun with the other pups and came back super tired... which is exactly what we had hoped for. She can be a bit scared of new people and they gave her enough space to feel comfortable and ease in, she had a wonderful time. We've booked her in again already and I'm sure she will now be a regular visitor!
I took my Bella very frequently during these last 2 years due to work (daily visits) and/or weekend trips (boarding). Bella was loved and taken care of here, and price was fair. This is the only place I feel comfortable boarding my 2 dogs. They have stayed here about 8-10 times and every time I have dropped them off and picked them up they are always so happy! They never seem stressed, depressed, or anxious. Communication is always good with drop off and pick up, and they will send you pictures of your animals/give you updates on them as well!
I go to a lot of trouble and drive hundreds of miles out of the way so we can go visit "Aunt Jakki" a few times a year. I should find somewhere closer, but the little one is so comfortable and had so many interesting friends to meet and has so much fun that we just don't want to go anywhere else. She is loved and cared for in her home away from home far more than she would be anywhere else, so we will probably keep coming to Aunt Jakki's for many more years. You can too,!
They were accommodating when two dozen other places would not be. I'm dropping my baby off tomorrow and will update this but I have high expectations and I truly believe she will outdo even those. Update: Years later and still my go to spot for boarding and daycare, just remember to get the pets bath before pickup

I took my dog to Home 2 Home for a 4 day stay. I couldn't be happier with my experience. He had a ton of fun and was well taken care of. Prices were extremely reasonable and the service was better than bigger boarding and daycare. I will be using Home 2 Home every time I need someone to look after my boy.

Spoiled Rotten has been watching our pets wonderfully for years! Our dog doesn't get along other dogs, so we can't board him when we go out of town. Spoiled Rotten comes to our house, walks him, and will stay overnight with him. He loves his dog walker and is always happy and healthy when we return. They also do a great job taking care of our cat.

Metro Pup was a life-saver and fantastic addition to our wedding! We contacted Eric a month out when we decided last-minute to bring our dog to our destination wedding in San Antonio. He was willing to work with our unique request for in-hotel per sitting for our dog, Luna, on our wedding date. He was fantastic with our anxious dog, and met us for a meet and greet before hand to make sure we and Luna were comfortable and set for the big day. He took Luna on lots of walks throughout the day, cuddled and played with her, helped us take fantastic wedding pictures with her, and brought her down for our cocktail hour. Eric, Sean, & the MetroPup crew are absolutely fabulous in every way! First, as people, they give loving care to my 2 cats when I am away. My cats love them both and are always so happy to see them. When I get home my cats are never scared and always their playful selves. They much prefer visits with Eric & Sean over being boarded and I can tell every time I come home. I also appreciate the daily reports on my cats wellbeing and photos so I can see them get pets during their visits. It is so great to see them happy when I’m away. As a business, Metro Pup operates effectively and professionally. I love the app that lets me schedule visits, pay virtually, send messages and more. Eric is always very communicative and we’ve even been able to work thru a booking that was lost once due to an app issue. He fixed it immediately and made sure my kitties were taken care of (thank you!). I am confident communication with him will work things out smoothly. Plus their team is always careful in my home and respectful of the space. I very much trust them being there. The cost of service is reasonable and worth every bit. Love this service! We know our fur babies are well taken care of when we travel. I love the app and getting updates on how each visit goes. One of the neatest services they offer is their wedding pet attendant. It might sound crazy, but it was very important to me to have my old man Bulldog Rufus in my wedding. They walked him down the aisle and made sure he stayed in the right place throughout the wedding. They were perfect and turned what could have been something that made a stressful day harder, and made it seamless. I could not give this service any higher of a recommendation. Metro Pup stands out from the pack as hands-down the best dog walkers we have ever had in our 3 years in San Antonio (or elsewhere for that matter). From the first meet and greet session, we knew our dog Ghost was going to be fast friends with Gerrit. Every day, Ghost waited eagerly by the door for his buddy to arrive for their daily walk. Gerrit always treated Ghost like family, giving him the time he needed to sniff the flowers, a treat when he returned, a clean water bowl, and lots of belly scratches. After the walk, we would always receive a nice little summary of the walk accompanied by awesome photos (examples below). In the rare instance Gerrit couldn't be there, Eric and the rest of the MetroPup team could be counted on to fill in. Never did we have to scramble to find a last-minute walker or worry about putting our pup in the hands of a complete stranger. The app they use (Time To Pet) makes scheduling appointments, communicating with the team, and receiving photos of the walk a breeze. I have absolutely zero hesitation in recommending Metro Pup to anyone who needs a dog walker in San Antonio. As we move away, I know that Ghost is going to miss his buddy and we will miss the peace of mind that Metro Pup provided.
Metro Pup has been pet sitting for me for 2 years. They always go above and beyond the level of service I expect. I book their service with no reservations at all. It is nice being able to go out of town and know your animals are safe. They regularly cat sit for me (Wes loves them) and sometimes dog walk for me. Both services are exemplary! Great place for Daycare and/or Boarding for your dog or dogs. My dogs love it there and start barking when we enter her driveway. Taylor is very friendly and she is really good with the dogs. She will know what your dogs needs are and makes sure they have a good time. Your dogs will make lots of friends at Goodiecookie's Pet Resort.

Our beasts loved going here. Whenever we got to the road near the kennel they would start bouncing in the car. This place is a labor of love. Taylor the owner truly loves dogs and was always willing to help us out. Dogs spend most their time outside in a fenced in property. She gets to know the dogs and their personality and what they like. She even sent us pictures when we requested it. Not mention she has the best prices I found in the San Antonio area.

I have used Mrs. Goodiecookie's Pet Resort several times over the last few years and we have had an excellent experience every time. We have boarded a puppy and our senior citizen and they get lots of love and attention while we are gone. It is the only place we trust to take good care of our pups while we are gone!
I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else! This place gives me the ease of knowing my dogs are well cared for. They actually care about your dogs and treat them as if they were their own. I occasionally board my dogs here, however, I take them twice a week for doggie daycare and they get excited everytime we pull up to Mrs. Goodiecookie's. They love to play with the other dogs and they love the owner (Tayler). One of the few places where the owner has hands-on service with your dog. If you want a place that makes you and your dog happy, this is the place to go!
We have been customers here for close to a decade and can say without hesitation that Tayler takes wonderful care of our dogs when they stay, whether it be for doggie day care or extended stays. They are excited when we arrive and run to the door with tails wagging eager to get in. We have zero problems leaving our dogs with her as we know they get excellent care while they're there.

Amy and Rachel are the best. They always take great care of our fur babies. We have 3 cats and 2 dogs and are great with all of them. Several times we have needed last minute care and they have always been willing to help out however they can. It's been a true life line for my wife and I since we both travel for work often.
Amy and her daughter Rachel are amazing! My pups luv them soo much! My Pittie & Golden Shepard trust her and get soo excited when she cares for them. Could not recommend Amy more! She is so sweet and kind and accommodating. She’s been taking care of my kitties for years and always takes the best care of them. One of my cats had diabetes and Amy took such good care of her and took care of her when her blood sugar was too low and she was having problems. It is always such a comfort for me knowing that she is taking care of them. Recently had Amy’s daughter Rachel take care of my kitty and she was equally as caring and sweet! Wish I could give over 5 stars 😺
We used 4 Luv N Care Pet Sitting to visit & feed our dogs & cats while we were away for an extended weekend. The service was excellent. We were given updates on the status of our pets during our trip and returned to happy & healthy pets who seemed disappointed that it was us returning rather than the pet sitter who cared for them while we were away.
I had to go out of town for 5 days and my little (big) fur baby kitty was so well taken care of by Amy. She treated my cat like he was hers. He needed pills twice a day and had to eat at certain times. She spent quality time with him brushing him, sending me pictures and texts (and notes when I got back on everything). I had such peace of mind with her. I have recommended her to 3 of my friends and will continue as she exceeded my expectations. She truly loves animals and loves doing this. There is nobody better for you to put your trust in.

Amy is absolutely wonderful as a not only a dog sitter, but makes it so easy to work with her! We have used her multiple times for our dog, Rosie and the process could not be any more perfect. My huge, 3 year old Great Pyrenees, Ghost, boarded at this location recently in Dec 2024 for three days and we took advantage of their half off bath as as add on service. I have always had really great experiences with Lucy‘s grooming services. Brandon is our groomer of choice, our Shih Tzu Ollie just loves his visits with Brandon and we are always very pleased with Brandon‘s grooming services and how well he takes care of Ollie, along with the staff.
Truly LOVE this boarding facility for my dogs, worth the money for your fur legged babies to stay here. Place was super well kept and the staff were awesome and very informative. They were very communicative when it came to changes in my dogs which made me feel more at ease having them there. Also opted for the video cameras so I could check in on my dogs during their stay. I used the self serve dog wash right before taking them home so that was super convenient and easy to use. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for boarding or the self serve doggy wash!
I made a last minute booking to board my baby Milo at Lucy’s Downtown location. I could tell right away upon arrival that I had made the right choice. They were very kind and gentle with my rambunctious boy. Thank you so much! Highly recommend 10/10!
First time coming here and I totally recommend. I used the self-serve station and it was super easy to shower my dog. He weighs 92lbs and he fits comfortably in the tubs. One of my favorite things was the soap hose. I was able to evenly lather my huge dogs coat with out taking forever. The downtown self serve does close at 6pm so check the hours. I mistakenly showed up at 6pm since on google it shows the hours but it’s for the actual daycare at 8pm not the wash station. Other than that definitely recommend!
Absolutely 💯 + experience. I can't believe it took me so long to bring my babies here . My Boy Maxx was groomed so so awesome. I never saw a beautiful coat of hair on him for all the years I've had him. The groomer Stefanie did a fantastic job. I also took 2 other smaller babies 2 chihuahuas and they looked so happy and believe me they smelled so so good. Unbelievable Great job. The staff are very helpful and very great. I am so happy with the outcome I went ahead and booked my other 2 dogs for next Saturday. Thank you so much.
We are winter Texans and love to take our pups to Lucy’s. They always have a great time playing with the other dogs. I would highly recommended them for day care.
We have entrusted the safety and wellbeing of our three cats (the kids) with Cathy and her team for years. When we travel the sitter arrives for the daily in-home visits timely, checks on the kids, tidies, sends us photos, and gives lots of pets and love. It is a great comfort knowing the kids are in kind, capable and responsible hands. I highly recommend Cathy and team.

We are very happy with Cathy’s Critter Care. They are organized, responsive, and it’s obvious they care a lot about their clients and clients’ pets. We were nervous to leave our dog home while traveling, but our minds were put at ease once we met, Michelle, the person who would be taking care of him. I will gladly recommend Cathy’s Critters Care to anyone needing pet sitter service. I was very pleased with my pups being at home in familiar surroundings instead of in a crate at a boarder. And I had them there when I got home on Sunday, rather than waiting til Monday (and paying for another night) when the vet opens. The sitter sent me updates and photos with each of their visits. AND it ended up being less costly than boarding them. I will definitely use them again!
We ❤️ the team at Cathy's Critter Care. We love the fact that when we have to leave them overnight, our dogs can stay stress-free at home and get just as much love and attention (maybe even more) than they would if we were there. We have been using Cathy’s Critter Care for a year now and we are so happy and pleased with their level of care, communication and reliability when caring for our sweet pets while we are away. They take care of every detail and even send beautiful photos of our pets after every visit. They even went above and beyond this last visit and set up a food/box shelter with food for one of our regular outdoor feral cat visitors when the temperature dipped too low (close to freezing) overnight. Their love of animals is very genuine and they will love and care for your pets like their own. :)
The pet sitters at Cathy's Critter Care are worth their weight in gold! The cat sitters are always understanding with both my older cats, and are patient with my cat's special diet and occasional territorial behavior. Our caregivers shared daily updates while engaging my two cats, innovated play, shared a narrative of the visit and observed the health and wellbeing of them. We were confident in their nurturing and attentive engaged care for the duration. We were alerted when they were in our home and leaving, alerted me to received packages, and more. We used Cathy's Critter Care while we were gone for nine days. They were very thorough. They came to our house for a pre-visit to familiarize themselves with our animals, the house, and our needs. Our cats and birds were well taken care of. They were fed, watered, areas were cleaned, and they even played with our pets. They provided us updates throughout each visit, which included pictures of our animals. They brought our mail in from the front porch. I will use them again and I will definitely recommend them to my friends and neighbors.
