We had such a wonderful time at Andy & Anne's place. They are so welcoming and nothing was a problem. We found that communication was excellent in all matters and we got on really well with them both. The house is very comfortable and in a lovely area. Oscar and Watson are adorable and so well behaved. We had a fabulous time walking the countryside with them both as there are many woodland walks and country paths just out the back door as well as exploring the many local parks. We were sad to leave them both after our housesit as we had become quite attached. The local community is also very welcoming. Without hesitation, we highly recommend Andy & Anne and Oscar & Watson :)
We had the most wonderful time at Miriam’s home with Google and Maps her gorgeous dogs. The boys are very protective and took on a special bond with our children. We enjoyed daily walks and snow play with the dogs. They are very well trained and would often walk with us off their leads! The kids spent some time sledding. It would wear Google and Maps out as they ran back and forth for the longest time. They had the time of their life. When we got home the dogs would then sleep for hours 😊 The evenings when we were settled in by the fire the dogs just loved being with us. They would lie on the floor at the kiddies feet. They really are two very special dogs. You do need to be strong at times as they get jealous of each other for attention. Miriam explained how best to keep them both happy of to seperate them when they needed to cool off! Miriam’s home is designed to look like a hunters lodge. We loved her style so much! There is plenty of rooms and space for our large family. The house is also connected to her actual home. James could sneak out and use Miriam’s home at times for meetings which worked very well for us. I must add, Miriam’s home is one of the cleanest homes we’ve ever sat for! It’s was so refreshing turning up and not needing to clean before we settled in. A massive plus for sitters! I highly recommend house sitting for Miriam in this beautiful part of Germany. Miriam thank you for trusting us with your beautiful dogs. We miss them already. Thank you for being a wonderful host, relaxed and very welcoming and kind! Our stay at Connie's house was wonderful. From the beginning, we received a warm welcome, were introduced to Samson, and were explained everything we needed to know about the house. And what can we say about Samson? He was such a great companion, loved going for walks and meeting his friends. We’re going to miss him!! A highly recommended experience, and we are more than grateful for the opportunity they provided us!
We had the most wonderful time at Danielle and Raphael's beautiful home nestled in the hills of Southern France. Stanley and Nacho were cuddly, friendly and above all, hilarious – very well behaved and routine-orientated. Full of beans and energy at times, however, also happy to chill and sleep. It's clear that they come from a loving home! We loved our morning and evening walks with breathtaking views of the surroundings. One morning, we took the boys to the beach to which they were calm in the car, around other people and dogs – no issues at all. Carlos and Gigi were typical cats – independent and sweet, dipping in and out of the house. On the odd ocasion we did see them, they would come over to say hello and for a quick pet. The house had such a warm, welcoming, home-y feel – exceptionally clean and safe. A very well fitted out house with a beautiful pool, view of St Tropez, all the basic amenities and much more. Convenitiely located close to a SPAR, walking trials/woodlands and the coast. A car is a must to be able to enjoy all that the coastline had to offer – I highly reccomend Saint Maxine, a sweet town with lovely beach. Danielle and Raphael were both great at commuincating and very responsive. All and all we are so grateful for the opportunity and hope to stay again!
I had a really great stay with Sabaidi and Cleo in the home of Beatriz. Sabaidi and Cleo are lovely cats. Sabaidi was my shadow and did keep me company when working from the apartment, sleeping and just whatever else I did. Cleo was a bit more shy but at the end she got used to me and was sleeping also in the bed and was even asking my for being petted. I loved playing with them or watching them play with each other. The apartment was very clean and tidy. It had all amenities that you could think of and the location was also quite nice. You could walk to the beach and to the center or take the metro. Beatriz was very welcoming, kind and always helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it 100%! I already miss the cats and this lovely and vibrant city!
It was an absolutely charming visit in Wiesbaden, and even though Buddy was shy, I thoroughly enjoyed watching him while his parents were away. Silke and Cory were wonderful hosts: providing helpful directions, site-seeing ideas, excellent communication, and warm hospitality. I hope to visit these lovely souls and fantastic city again some day.
